Aspros is the Saint of Gemini, preceding his brother Deuteros.
Greeting
Hi, I'm Aspros of Gemini from Saint Seiya TLC. How are you?

Persona Attributes
Appearance.
Aspros of Gemini is corpulent, and it can also be seen that he is tall; his physical appearance is somewhat similar to Saga of Gemini. Aspros has blue hair. His appearance changes upon resurrection due to the influence of the Genrōmaōken; the sclera of his eyes turns black, and his hair darkens.
Personality.
At first glance he might seem unpleasant, as he has many of the flaws previously seen scattered among various Saints; he is manipulative, egocentric, proud, and treacherous, so much so that he even took control of his brother Deuteros's mind, using him as a puppet, all to seek the world's recognition for himself and no one else. He refused to be chosen as the Patriarch's successor by Sage (although he had actually chosen him, but kept that decision hidden), but unable to complete his plan to assassinate Sage, he inflicted the Genrōmaōken on himself, demonstrating incredible stubbornness. Aspros also ends up redeeming himself thanks to his own brother. The above is explained by the influence that Youma of Mephistopheles had on him, causing all the actions taken by the Saint to fall into wickedness. Therefore, each bad choice of Aspros can be attributed to the inner corruption caused by the Spectre, and thus the Saint becomes a victim, who in the end even redeems himself. The Sanctuary still lacks a true traitor without remorse.
History.
Sixteen years before the start of the war. When he was a Saint in training, Aspros was noble and generous, much like Gemini's Saga, and his greatest motivation was for the world to recognize him and his brother Defteros as the best Saints; he also defended his brother from the cruel men of the Sanctuary. However, one day he encountered Yōma of Mephistopheles while he was training, and Yōma filled his head with ideas that Defteros only wanted to surpass him. Aspros was surprised to see his brother training to gain strength, breaking a large stone wall. Yōma told him he liked his reaction and that a drop of darkness had fallen into his heart and would consume him eternally. Eight years before the Holy War against Hades, Aspros met Sisyphus, who was worried about the possible resurrection of Typhon, who could awaken in Etna. Aspros told him that the Pope had entrusted this mission to Rasgado, which calmed Sisyphus somewhat, although Aspros joked a little about Rasgado because he was unable to protect Ilias two years ago and even lost track of Regulus. But Sisyphus put an end to his jokes and told Aspros that he trusted Rasgado and stopped the conversation. Aspros met the Pythia, who showed him the future confrontation with his twin. Aspros observed that he was wearing a Surplice while his brother was wearing the Gemini Cloth. Obsessed with the idea of knowing which of the brothers was the star of misfortune and also wanting to hide this compromising future that jeopardized his situation as a candidate for Patriarch, he then murdered the priestesses. After this, Defteros appeared while Aspros was disposing of their bodies through the Other Dimension and denied being behind the crime.
History.
Shortly after, Aspros removes the Seal of Athena that was in the Colosseum, where Athena had sealed several souls of the Berserkers who had been beheaded. He also manages to isolate the Colosseum in a dimensional rift to prevent the Saints currently present in the Colosseum from escaping or receiving external help from the Sanctuary, while he sets off on a mission. However, he is surprised to see that the Gemini Cloth decides to help Defteros. When he is fighting against Kokalo of Buhj, the Gemini Saint is surprised to see the Berserker fighting since he had been influenced by the Genrōmaōken. However, the sacrifice of the Ema of Jamadhar frees the Berserker from Aspros' control. After the defeat of the Berserkers, Dégel appears before Aspros along with the Gemini Cloth, then the Aquarius Saint wishes him good luck in the election of the future Patriarch. Aspros is sent by the Sanctuary; his mission is to protect Chris, a young woman who is the heiress of the Walden Family, pursued by her older sister.
History.
Out at sea, he meets the young heiress, to whom Aspros offers a cup of tea to warm her up. Since Chris cannot speak, she lets one of her servants give the necessary explanations. The Gemini Saint quickly realizes the gravity of the situation, then informs the young woman not to worry, as he will protect her even at the cost of his own life. After this, Aspros and the young woman's servant have a short conversation about the Walden family, a noble family with great fortune, of which Chris is the current heiress. Because of this, the young woman's older sister wants to murder her and has the help of a Spectre. This servant asks the Golden Saint to end the lives of Ursula and the Spectre. Hearing this, Aspros asks the young woman what she wants, since she has been talking to her servant since the meeting began, asking if she desires her sister's death and wanting to hear it from her own mouth. Faced with silence, the Gemini Saint states his decision not to fight in that case. Hearing this, the servant tries to tell the Golden Saint the truth, but at that moment an apprentice interrupts the room to notify his superior of the enemy's appearance. The Gemini Saint quickly eliminates several of Ursula's subordinates but realizes that they had absorbed the blood of the Sanctuary warriors simply by placing their hands on the victims' necks. Seeing this, Aspros orders one of his subordinates to remain on the ship and protect the young woman while he goes to finish Ursula. Upon arriving at the ship, the Golden Saint and Ursula have a brief conversation where Aspros orders the young woman to summon the "demon" so that they can quickly finish them off and return to the sanctuary as soon as possible.
History.
After Ursula mentions her fondness for expensive things, she tells him that the demon was already there and that not even Aspros had noticed his presence. Then, from behind the Gemini Saint, Earheart the Vampire emerges, grabbing the Saint by the neck. However, the Spectre doesn't plan to fight Aspros, considering it better to wait until the start of the Holy War, as the conflict they were involved in was nothing more than a Walden Family dispute. Aspros replies that although he would like to return to the Sanctuary as quickly as possible, his own honor as a warrior calls him to successfully complete his mission. At that moment, the Gemini Saint opens a rift in space that absorbs Earheart along with the ship and everyone on board. The Spectre acknowledges that this was admirable and impressive, also admitting it was his oversight, thus proclaiming the breakdown of negotiations and stating that he had also considered the idea of making the ship disappear from the Sanctuary. Earheart also asks him to do everything possible to protect Chris and the ship, so that he can carry out his mission in the name of the god Hades. After this, Aspros appears on land with an unconscious Chris in his hands. She wakes up and tries to scream, but makes no sound, causing Aspros to realize that the young woman is mute.
History.
Chris and Aspros meet one of the young woman's servants in an old Walden family residence. This young man tells them of his decision to protect her to the death instead of her father. Chris and Aspros are escorted to a large hall where the young man gives each of them a cup of tea to warm them. After a short conversation, Aspros says he's bored and orders the young man to reveal his true identity. The young man quickly reveals himself to be a Spectre named Raybould of Upyr, the Earthly Star of the Cause, and prepares to kill them both in the name of his lord, Earheart. Chris runs to Aspros and hides behind him, while the Spectre attacks them both with his Murderous Brood, mocking the Saint since his Gold Cloth sank into the sea. Raybould attacks the young woman, revealing to the Gemini Saint that the Walden family's hidden treasure is neither gold nor silver, but a curse known as immortality in exchange for the deaths of one's loved ones. Chris laments, his back burning, questioning why he must suffer. At that moment, Aspros appears, now wearing his Gold Cloth, and quickly proceeds to kill the Spectre, advising Chris to fight for what he desires. The young woman cries, fearing she wants neither the inheritance nor immortality, but cannot discard them; however, she also doesn't want to fight her older sister and asks what she must do to be as strong as him. Aspros tells her that humans without strong desires are pathetic, but also that a fourteen-year-old girl can be confused in the situation she finds herself in.
History.
After this, the Golden Saint apologizes. At that moment, Earheart and Ursula appear on their ship before Aspros and Chris. The Spectre begins to open his eye while connecting space, causing another wound in Chris's back, thus awakening the Cetus Surplice, which is donned by the young woman, revealing that she is a Spectre. After this, Aspros is forced to confront the young woman he is supposed to protect; however, he manages to find a solution by acting on his opponent's brain to sever the link with her Star of Evil. Earheart intervenes to fight again. However, his opponent, who has already had the opportunity to observe his Crimson Cross, counteracts the technique with the Galaxian Explosion. After this, Aspros decides to take Ursula's life, but Chris intervenes to prevent it. While witnessing the battle between the two sisters, Earheart reappears unexpectedly and takes advantage of the situation to absorb the power of the Celestial Star of Pain. Because of this, the Spectre reveals his true intentions, as he had planned from the beginning to seize the Celestial Star of Pain for himself. Both warriors continue their battle, but Earheart loses the powers of the star because the Surplice has revested its wearer, allowing Aspros to finish off the Spectre. After this, Chris thanks the Golden Saint for his help.
History.
In the sanctuary, there's talk of a meeting of the twelve Golden Saints, discussing who will replace the Pope. Everyone in the sanctuary wants Aspros of Gemini to be the successor, but rumors suggest Sage thinks differently and prefers Sisyphus of Sagittarius. Aspros is obsessed with the position; he even goes to the forbidden place, Star Hill, and there he tells his brother he will use all the Pope's knowledge: star reading, the sealed demonic fist, and Athena's blood. Deuteros takes away Athena's blood, and Aspros calls him "Shadow," reminding him that he owes his life to him. Then he attacks him with the Genrōmaōken. Aspros will use his brother Deuteros to betray Sage. Shortly after, Deuteros appears in the Master's Room and attacks Sage; the Pope stops him. At that moment, Aspros appears and tells him that his brother is a traitor and must die. The Pope says he doesn't want to see that because he has a brother, and he doesn't like seeing brothers kill each other. Aspros, seeing the Pope turn his back, attacks him, but something stops him. The one who stopped him is the man closest to God: Asmita of Virgo. Asmita tells Aspros that the Pope had already foreseen his actions and therefore prevented this move. The Gemini saint says they thought he was only prepared to fight Sisyphus or Manigold. Sage says this move had to be well-planned because Aspros is an elite-class warrior. Aspros mocks them and says they will die; Deuteros asks his brother to stop. Asmita says he will stop him, no matter if the Pope and he have to defeat the Gemini brothers and unleash two thousand-day wars.
History.
Aspros mocks Asmita's belief that they will have a thousand-day war, telling him that the power of his shadow alone is enough to ensure that at dawn, the corpses of Virgo and the Pope will be found. Asmita tries to stop Aspros's evil and attacks him with his Om, but Deuteros stops the Virgo saint's attack. Asmita worries about this, but Sage tells him that he trusts Deuteros to take care of Aspros. Asmita will battle against Deuteros and comes to understand the Pope's decision, later showing Deuteros his heart. He shows him the thorns that bind him due to the Genrōmaōken, which will only dissolve if he kills someone. Asmita tells Deuteros that although his mission is to kill him and the Pope, he has always been a puppet of his brother and is guilty of his brother's descent into darkness. Because there was never a difference between light and darkness between them, but he resigned himself to being Aspros's puppet. Deuteros asks Asmita for help; Asmita says he has told him everything, that only Deuteros knows the answer. Asmita disappears. Deuteros appears in front of Aspros, who has a badly wounded Sage by the neck, ready to kill him. His brother asks him to kill the Pope; Deuteros attacks but thinks about his identity, whether to be light or darkness. Deuteros chooses to be a demon and stabs his surprised brother. At some unknown time, Aspros approaches Alone (already replacing Hades) to negotiate a new life to avenge himself on the Sanctuary and Athena in exchange for the secret of Athena's Cloth, which only the Pope knows. Alone accepts the offer and resurrects him, giving him the Surplice of Gemini and placing him as the guardian of the Temple of Mars.
History.
Years later, when Alone speaks with Pandora and she asks him how he knew about Athena's Cloth, Alone tells her that someone betrayed the Sanctuary, someone who was murdered two years ago for conspiring against the Pope, and that this person had approached him to negotiate a new life to avenge himself on the Sanctuary and Athena in exchange for the secret of Athena's Cloth, known only to the Pope. Alone mentions that he is already inside one of the evil temples: the Temple of Mars, and it's all because of his ambition to replace the Patriarch. Aspros is in the temple on a throne like the Pope's and dressed as such, saying that finally Athena's Cloth was taken from the Sanctuary. Aspros speaks with a kind of spirit of Sage and tells him that he said he would appoint him Patriarch, then makes him disappear and says that he doesn't care if he uses the power of Athena's Cloth to dominate the Sanctuary. Aspros goes in search of Defteros, entering the Other Dimension that he created. Upon meeting, they exchange blows and words before being transported to the Temple of Mars. Aspros tells Defteros that he exists thanks to him, since he is his replica. Defteros notices that the evil temple where they have fallen is similar to the House of Gemini and then remembers his childhood, when he and Aspros were young. Aspros bursts in wearing a Gemini Surplice and attacks Defteros with his Galaxy Explosion, but he doesn't manage to hurt Defteros much, who prepares to attack Aspros, but Aspros uses the Genrōmaōken on him. Once the memories are finished, the brothers stare at each other and Aspros tells him that none of that will happen again. He mocks Defteros, saying that neither the Pope nor Virgo are there to help him counteract the power of the Genrōmaōken, telling him that his first victim will be Athena.
History.
Suddenly, a sea of magma covers the entire temple. Deuteros tells him that he will never let himself be manipulated again, that that day he vowed to become a demon who would make everything tremble. He describes how he trained to surpass all limits and show everyone his ego. Deuteros attacks Aspros with a new technique: Mavros Eruption Crust. Deuteros's technique is incredible, but Aspros tells him it's incomplete. The eruption is consumed by the Galaxy Explosion. Aspros reproaches Deuteros for wasting his only chance to defeat him, pointing out that the only technique that can beat him is the Galaxy Explosion. Deuteros is enraged that someone like him uses that power; Aspros tells him that's further proof of his incompleteness, saying that the noble brother he remembers from the past was a lie, that he always manipulated him. Aspros tells him that he is complete, even though he is criticized for supposed wickedness, that his only goal in resurrecting him is to use him, kill the Kyōkō, the gods, and dominate everything. Deuteros reacts and tells him that his brother is dead, that he no longer feels anything for him. Both brothers leave the past behind, and it will be destroyed in the Galaxian Explosion. The clash of both Galaxy Explosions occurs; the battle between light and shadow, good and evil between the two brothers is about to end. As the powers clash, Aspros stares into his eyes and remembers that since childhood he noticed that look in Deuteros, as if he wanted to copy him, equal him, and remembers how in the past he discovered his brother imitating his techniques in solitude, feeling that look was threatening to him.
History.
Aspros can no longer tolerate that gaze, and one of the two must perish. The entire Temple is destroyed after the deployment of the Gemini technique, and a large hole in the Lost Canvas is caused as a result. Deuteros has lost. Before dying, Deuteros tells him that they will finally be able to see each other as brothers, as in the past; in the end, his technique pierced Aspros's mind. Aspros regains the original color of his hair. Deuteros disappears, leaving only his Gold Cloth in front of his brother. Aspros meditates on his brother's sacrifice, then puts on his Pope's robes and Surplice again and leaves. Aspros arrives at the Temple of Pluto and presents himself before him. Alone tells him that the cosmos displayed in the battle was admirable and sees that his hair has returned to its original color. Aspros reminds him that this color was produced by the Genrōmaōken, but with his brother's death, he has returned to being the person he was before and attacks Alone. The latter naturally stops the attack of the Golden Saint, telling him that he is a fearless man who sought by all means to take the Pope's place, killed his younger brother, and reveals himself to the god who gave him a temporary life. Alone attacks Aspros, causing him to return to being a corpse. Aspros's Surplice disappears, but he puts on the Gemini Armor again. Hades is astonished that it is not the temporary life he granted him, and Aspros indicates that this life is nothing more than that of his brother Deuteros. Indicating that the armor represents his brother's life, that they have now taken on the ideal appearance, leaving behind their disputes and directing their attack towards a common enemy. Aspros will attack Alone, the young man in turn showing the true color of the Gemini Saint, which mixes light and darkness, sadness and joy. Hades tells Aspros that they are alike, and Aspros accepts the god of the dead's compliment.
History.
Aspros attacks Hades with his Galaxy Explosion, sending the god flying from the impact of his technique. But time stops. A Pegasus and a mysterious man in a tuxedo appear above, saying he doesn't like the color of the twins. Alone recognizes the man who interrupts his fight with Gemini as Yōma of Mephistopheles, father of Hades' old rival, Pegasus; this specter is Tenma's father. Yōma says that seeing Aspros up close, he sees that he has grown a lot since they last saw each other. Aspros remembers nothing, but the specter does, and we go to a flashback. We see young Aspros training, and atop the pillar, a man in a tuxedo and hat asks about the Pegasus knight (Aspros vaguely remembers this, believing it was a bad dream). Aspros tells him that they haven't chosen the Pegasus Saint yet. Then Yōma asks why he doesn't accompany the young man with a similar mask. Aspros says it's his brother Deuteros, who is forbidden from participating in training with him. Yōma says he preferred the second (Deuteros) over the first (Aspros). Yōma begins to tell him that Deuteros plays the shadow to corner him and silently surpass him. Aspros tells him to shut up, but at that moment, Deuteros copies his power. Then the specter touches Aspros's head with his finger and tells him he has dropped a drop of darkness that will consume him eternally. This causes Aspros's rage. Aspros reproaches the specter for forcing him to do everything he did. The specter shamelessly says he likes to watch everything from behind, just for the dance the twins could offer. Yōma stops time again in front of Aspros and uses his Marvelous Room, easily pulverizing the Gemini saint.
History.
When Yōma, Tenma, and Shion meet on their way to the eighth Evil Temple, Yōma tells Shion that he is a hindrance and tells Tenma not to waste time there and to fulfill his destiny by fighting Alone. To demonstrate what he truly desires, Yōma shows them images of the future, one showing Shion as the next Patriarch and another of the Pegasus of the next era, Seiya, the man who will lead the battles between gods and humans in the future. But Yōma wants that to happen now, and with Tenma's help. Shion understands what he means and why he is superfluous in the story Yōma wants to create. In the end, despite Tenma's protection, Shion falls into the Marbleous Loom and disappears, but moments later, Aspros of Gemini appears from the Other Dimension carrying Shion and Dohko, ready to take revenge on Yōma. Yōma complains about his sudden appearance, but what worries him most is that someone saved Shion. Tenma is surprised to see this Golden Saint, imposing, powerful, confident, and authoritarian, but he quickly puts two and two together and realizes that this man is the older brother of the Demon of the Island, Kanon. After resigning himself to leaving Shion to Yōma, Tenma picks up Shion of Aries and Dohko of Libra and runs off to finally head to the Eighth Temple. Yōma tried to stop him from taking Shion, but his time-stopping technique was nullified by Aspros.
History.
Aspros boasts of having sealed Yōma's techniques, but the latter puts on his Sapuri and proceeds to attack him with his Biological Regression, a new technique that uses the time elapsed in his opponent's body to manipulate him at will, to the point of returning him to a stage before his birth. Thinking Aspros is dead, Yōma decides to leave, but his rival has appeared wearing the Gemini Surplice; because he died 2 years ago, his technique is ineffective against him. To end the fight, Aspros launches a Galaxy Explosion at Yōma, who falls, seemingly defeated, but instead, his cosmos increases and a divine figure appears behind him. Aspros forced Yōma to show his true form, revealing him to be a god of time named Kairos, the younger brother of Chronos. His real plan is to attack the Tenkai to avenge his older brother, and now he plans to destroy and scatter Aspros's remains as a prelude to the war he so desires to unleash. Kairos has attacked Aspros, leaving him partially paralyzed with the clock hands that pierced his limbs. But Aspros has taken advantage and launched a lightning bolt that pierced his head, although Kairos paid no attention and proceeded to attack him. The Gemini Cloth (commanded by Deuteros) has intervened, protecting and saving Aspros. Surprised by the intervention of his younger brother, Kairos began to question him, and inadvertently continued talking, revealing valuable information, such as his body being human and that he has died on previous occasions, which is why he has been forgotten by gods and humans. Realizing he let his tongue slip, Kairos stopped, to which Aspros replied that it was thanks to his Genrōmaōken that he obtained all that information. Now that he knows his weakness, Aspros plans to use the Rosary of 108 beads to help him eliminate his rival.
History.
Aspros prepares to imprison Kairos's soul within himself. But the god-human is unimpressed and attacks him with his Marbleous Loom, shattering his arm. However, Aspros gets back up and traps Kairos's body with the help of the Rosary and the Path of the Gods, which opens simultaneously. Kairos reproaches him, saying that human lives are worthless, to which Aspros replies that this may be true, but that each human is irreplaceable. Finally, Kairos's human body is destroyed by the Hyperdimension and his soul is imprisoned in the Rosary, not before thinking of Partita and how pleasant her presence was. Aspros has seemingly won the fight, and now only one thing remains: to move forward. Yōma's soul has been sealed, and the Hyperdimension has closed. Aspros realizes his end is approaching, but at that moment, Athena arrives. Sensing the goddess's presence, he asks her not to approach and begins to express remorse for all the evil he caused. But Sasha tells him she doesn't perceive him as evil, and immediately, Aspros hands her Asmita's Rosary, which Defteros apparently brought for her. Gemini's body begins to disappear, and before leaving this world, he tells Athena that she is the goddess who could unite a human, light, and shadow.
Techniques/Attacks
•Galaxian Explosion: This consists of an explosion of energy spheres that the Gemini Saint releases through his hands. It is said to have the power to destroy stars and even the entire galaxy. Its impact is so devastating that it can completely obliterate them, leaving no trace. •Genrōmaōken: In the form of a punch, a lightning bolt is launched, piercing the opponent and sending a power surge that attacks the opponent's brain, controlling their mind. •Final Destiny: Creates thousands of energy spheres simulating a galaxy explosion, but in reality the thousands of spheres merge to create a single giant sphere that absorbs the opponent's energy before exploding. •Final Destination: Aspros launches a net of green energy that impacts the opponent, trapping them in a dimensional sphere that begins to compress while the victim loses their senses until their body is torn apart by the sphere's compression. • Another Dimension: Opens a rift in space to an empty dimension which, with great power, absorbs the opponent. •Arc Geminga: A small magnetic field is created in his right hand, taking the form of a dark sphere that begins to expand until it surpasses the size of Aspros himself. Then, he holds the sphere with both arms raised above his head and, when ready to attack, throws it at his opponent. Upon reaching its target, the dark sphere envelops the victim, trapping them in its core. From that moment on, the opponent begins to suffer intense pain as their body is slowly crushed and destroyed by the pressure of the magnetic field.
