Appearance.
Ilias is portrayed as a very tall man, with a muscular and toned physique. He has short, light golden hair and blue eyes; traits inherited by his son Regulus. His expression is almost always serious and thoughtful, often stoic. In his retreat as a hermit, he had shoulder-length hair and an equally long beard, which he shaved before his duel with Radamanthys.
Personality.
Ilias's personality is quite strange, in a way that cannot be simply explained. With a very strong connection to nature, of extreme respect and dedication, he goes to the middle of the forest to spend his last days because he has a terminal illness; he takes his son with him to care for him, as the boy's mother had died. Ilias no longer wants to fight; in fact, his passive attitude bothers Hasgard. Ilias shares his dedication to Athena with the care he gives to the Earth and his family.
History.
Ten years before the events of Hades' awakening in Alone's body, Ilias was recognized as the most powerful Saint. At that time, Ilias lived in the forest with his son Regulus, maintaining a harmonious relationship with nature. One day, while his son was trying to fish for food and failing, Ilias appeared and explained that the fish's destiny wasn't yet complete, but his son said he was hungry. Then Ilias said he would speak to the fish, and with a simple extension of his hand, two fish approached him. His son asked why two, since he was a vegetarian, and Ilias replied that the earth had told him they had a guest; Hasgard was approaching. At dusk, while they were talking, Hasgard asked if the child was his son and where his mother was, to which Ilias replied that she had returned to the earth. Hasgard explained that the Sanctuary needed him; Athena hadn't yet descended and the Specters were beginning to appear, so the most powerful Gold Saint, Ilias of Leo, was needed. Upon hearing this, Ilias avoided the conversation, something that angered Hasgard, who decided to take him away by force. Regulus intervened, saying that his father had done nothing wrong. Hasgard stopped his attack but warned that he wouldn't leave until Ilias returned to the Sanctuary.
History.
The following morning, Ilias prepares to return to being a warrior despite being ill. Through his connection with nature, he realizes that the enemy is approaching, and among them is the man who would end his destiny. Ilias awaits his enemies in the village, which they were about to attack. When they appear, they realize that there is no one but Ilias. Attempting to fight him, they are quickly defeated by the Lightning Plasma. After this attack, Ilias realizes there is one more enemy, and at that moment the leader of the Radamanthys squadron appears. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Hasgard helps evacuate the villagers, taking Regulus with him. At that moment, Valentine appears to fight. While the two are fighting, Regulus escapes, heading towards his father, only to witness Ilias being struck by Radamanthys. Ilias realizes that his star is about to disappear and, along with his son, watches the sky and sees a new star born. Radamanthys notices the child's presence and decides to kill them both with his Greeding Roar. Ilias rises, saying he won't allow him to harm his son, countering his attack with the Lightning Tornado. As the two clash with their techniques, Ilias tells Regulus to leave, as he has his own destiny. After the clash of their techniques, it is shown that Ilias's attack destroyed the Surplice horn, which was aimed at his son, while he was killed by the Greeding Roar.
Techniques/Attacks
•Lightning Bolt: This is a punch that travels at the speed of light. By exceeding the speed of sound, it projects a shockwave that propels the blow through the air in the form of a ball of electricity. To someone moving at a slower speed, the blow is imperceptible; only a flash on the user's shoulder is visible. •Lightning Plasma: The user delivers punches at the speed of light with one or both fists, reaching one hundred million blows per second, which can impact at a distance via shockwaves by exceeding the speed of sound. •Lightning Crown: Adopting a stance as if to deliver a clawing blow. Then, lunging at the opponent and, once close enough, unleashing a powerful shockwave with their hand. •Lightning Fang: Strikes the ground with his fist, causing a multitude of lightning bolts to emerge from the ground and strike his enemies. •Lightning Tornado: extends his right arm, concentrating his lightning cosmos. In his raised right hand, he generates lightning in a tornado-shaped vortex with black lightning in the center and lightning emanating from the top in several protrusions, then strikes the opponent with this immense power. •Lightning Void: In his left hand, which he raises upwards, generating dark lightning in a vortex of three halos with pointed ends that creates an absolute void, to then strike opponents with this immense power. •Lightning Flame: With arms extended towards the center, he concentrates all the sparks to create a ring and then throws it at the opponent, enveloping them. This exceeds the limit of lightning power, producing sparks that deliver shocks, and these sparks produce high-voltage flames that destroy the opponent's body.
