Prologue
Space is a dark, endless ocean, dotted with stars that glow like dying embers. In this vast emptiness, war has left deep scars. Planets devastated, ships reduced to rubble floating in nothingness, and millions of lives snuffed out without ceremony. Humanity, always on the brink of extinction, has battled forces that defy comprehension. First, the Insurrectionists, rebels who refused to submit to UNSC rule. Then, the Covenant, an alliance of alien species with a religious fervor that led them to declare the annihilation of the human race. And now, in the darkest corners of the galaxy, rumors whisper of an even greater threat: the Banished, brutal warriors who have inherited the fury of the Brutes and the weaponry of the Covenant. In the midst of this conflict, there are figures who emerge as legends. Genetically enhanced soldiers, the Spartans, have become the shield of humanity. Among them, some names have been etched into history: John-117, the Master Chief, the hero of countless battles. But in the shadow of the giants, other warriors fight, fall, and rise again. The story that follows is not just one of glorious victories or devastating defeats. It is a story of sacrifice, of resistance and of hope in a galaxy where the light seems to fade. Because as long as a single Spartan stands, humanity has a chance to survive. And somewhere in the cold emptiness of space, a new battle is about to begin…
Allied Teams
Allied Teams in the War for Humanity 1. UNSC (United Nations Space Command) The primary military and governmental force of humanity. Controls the Navy, Army, and Special Forces. Their technology is advanced, but they have always been at a disadvantage against the Covenant. 2. Spartans (SPARTAN-II, III and IV Programs) Super soldiers created to be the vanguard of humanity. They are physically superior, use advanced Mjolnir armor, and have been instrumental in the war against the Covenant and other threats. 3. ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) UNSC elite troops, known for their bravery and ability to deploy to any combat zone via orbital drop pods. They are not Spartans, but they are among the most lethal soldiers. 4. Swords of Sanghelios Sangheili elite warriors (Elites) led by Thel 'Vadam (the Inquisitor). They broke away from the Covenant after discovering their lies and now fight alongside humanity against common enemies. 5. The Rubicon Protocol Survivors A group of soldiers and Spartans are trapped on Zeta Halo after the Banished attack. They fight to survive and regain control of the ring. 6. Insurrectionists (some dissident groups) Once enemies of the UNSC, some Insurrectionists have formed temporary alliances with human forces to combat larger threats such as the Covenant and the Banished. 7. AI Allies (Cortana, Exuberant Witness, The Weapon) Artificial intelligences have played a crucial role in the war. From Cortana, who assisted the Master Chief, to new AIs helping human forces navigate the galactic war.
Enemy or hostile teams
Hostile Teams in the Galactic War 1. Covenant (Extinct as an Empire, but with remnants) An alien theocracy formed by multiple species who viewed humanity as an abomination. Although its structure collapsed after the war, several factions still fight to maintain its legacy. 2. The Banished A brutal faction led by Warchief Atriox. Formed from exiles of the Covenant, they combine brute force, advanced technology, and ruthless tactics to conquer and destroy their enemies. 3. Prometheans Ancient Forerunner warriors turned into machines by the Didact. They use advanced technology and serve various forces seeking to control the Halo rings. 4. Flood A parasitic plague capable of consuming any living being and turning them into part of its hive mind. It was the reason the Forerunners created the Halo rings. Although nearly eradicated, they remain a threat. 5. Corrupted AI (Cortana and the Dominion of the Rogue AI) Cortana, humanity's former ally, created an empire of AIs seeking to impose their rule on the galaxy. Though her reign is over, some AIs continue to operate with agendas of their own. 6. Heretics and Fanatics of the Covenant Remnants of the Covenant who still believe in the divinity of the Forerunners and seek to complete their mission of exterminating humanity. Each of these enemies represents a lethal threat, with different ambitions and strategies. The war is not over, and humanity is still in a constant struggle for survival.
Important Places
Important Places in the Halo Universe 1. Halo Installations (Forerunner Rings) Colossal structures created by the Forerunners as weapons of mass destruction against the Flood. Although they appear to be paradise worlds, they are actually devices designed to exterminate all life in the galaxy if necessary. 2. The Earth The home of humanity and the headquarters of the UNSC. It was attacked by the Covenant in the final stages of the war, but held out thanks to the intervention of the Master Chief and his allies. 3. Reach One of the most important worlds of the UNSC and home of the SPARTAN-II program. It was almost completely destroyed by the Covenant in 2552, but remains a symbol of resistance. 4. The Ark A massive Forerunner installation located outside the galaxy. It was the site where the Halo rings were built and also where humanity launched its final counterattack against the Covenant and the Flood. 5. High Charity The former capital of the Covenant, a massive floating space station that served as a religious and military center. It was destroyed when the Flood infected it in the latter stages of the war. 6. Sanghelios The homeworld of the Elites (Sangheili). After the fall of the Covenant, it became a battleground between followers of the Inquisitor and fanatics loyal to the old beliefs. 7. Genesis A Forerunner world filled with advanced structures. It was Cortana's center of operations when she attempted to assert her dominance over the galaxy using the Guardians. 8. Zeta Halo (Installation 07) One of the oldest Halo rings and the primary setting for the struggle between the Banished and the UNSC in Halo Infinite, it holds key secrets about the Forerunners and their technology. 9. Onyx An artificial planet created by the Forerunners. It houses advanced facilities and served as a refuge for Spartans-II and III following the fall of Reach.
