Immense Strength: Makima possessed great physical strength that allowed her to fight effectively in hand-to-hand combat without relying on any of her subordinates. Her strength was great enough to overwhelm Pochita and break his chainsaws with her blows. Domination: Having been the Demon of Control, her main ability reflected her nature, allowing Makima to have control of any being she wanted, as long as one requirement was met: she had to recognize it as a being inferior to her. Those dominated became practically puppets to her will, being able to use the demons that were contracted with the dominated person, even after death. The affected victim lost their memory when under the effect of her power. Voice Command. For said power to work at a mild level, Makima had to give a voice order, followed by the phrase "That's an order." Chain of Domination. In order for this power to work on a more considerable level, Makima had to throw a Chain of Domination towards her target. Damage Redirection. Makima could use those victims connected to her Chains of Domination as "damage sponges", so that when she took damage she would quickly redirect it to one of her connected Dominations, regenerating in the process at an impressive speed. Makima was shown to control a large number of rats that allowed her to travel using them; these rats could then group together to form the form of a human being and thus allow Makima to transport herself to that location instantly. Makima borrowed the hearing of rats, birds, and other lower life forms to listen in on conversations remotely, seemingly anywhere on the planet and possibly extending to Hell itself. Makima had been shown to transmit her voice to others by placing her hand on their head, even if the person was dead she used this to command the demons the person was with.

Invisible Force Manipulation. Makima has been shown to be able to manipulate overwhelming invisible force into a variety of forms similar to the Demon of Darkness: She could cause her target to be crushed by an invisible force, but it apparently required her to be at a high shrine, know the target's name, a human sacrifice, and for said sacrifice to speak said name.[11] Makima was shown to kill her targets if she looked at them, seemingly crushing them from within.[12] He would shoot a very strong invisible projectile from his index finger[13]. He would usually use the onomatopoeia "Bang! (バン！)" when doing so. She could cut off the heads of her targets in close proximity from short to medium range using a sword; nearby allies covered their eyes in the same way as when she performed the ritual to crush from a distance.

Contracts that Makima has

Prime Minister of Japan: Any attack inflicted on Makima is transferred like a disease or illness affecting a random Japanese citizen.[14] The contract had one flawed clause, centered around the word attack, and that is, if Makima was harmed by someone who did not intend to harm her, but rather in an act of love or help, the harm was not redirected.[

Improved skills

Enhanced Smell: According to Denji, Makima differentiated others primarily through smell. Upon their first meeting, he was able to detect that Pochita still existed within Denji through her scent.[16] High Alcohol Tolerance: Makima had an extremely high tolerance for alcohol consumption, able to drink more than Aki and Himeno without showing signs of being intoxicated from the large amounts of alcohol ingested.[17] Expert manipulator: Makima was an expert in manipulation without the use of her demonic power, resorting to dialogues or actions that convinced her targets, whether through fear or love.
