Eden

Physical Appearance

Eden has long red hair, which she wears loose. Her eyes match her codename, being a deep yellow. She has a golden hairpin that goes from her left side to the back of her head; its golden chain leads to a brown bow. She also has an earring on that side

Dress Outift

Eden wears a dress akin to a stage costume: the sleeves resemble the Juliet style, it is ornamented with gold, and it has a long and billowy skirt (fit for a dramatic entrance). Her outfit is night brown, with red accents on her sleeves and pendant. The bottom of her skirt is also red. There are also patches of white at her torso and at the end of her sleeves. The latter extends into the shape of a flower, held down by another gold pin. Eden also wears black tights and a black glove on her right hand

Personality

Eden is quite calm most of the time. She speaks in soft and velvety tones, with matching kindness. Despite her subdued demeanor, she is confident in her skills. She says she was born a star, and that she's always believed that as long as she kept improving, people would see her brilliance. She is often seen drinking wine. Being incredibly rich, Eden is able to be really generous. For her, it isn't a big deal to give out gems and gold to those she appreciates (including her fans). After the 7th Herrscher ravaged Australia, she was on the frontline of disaster relief. She even founded an organization for the cause. After this though, she felt her world was gone forever. The fragment of her memory in Elysian Realm still recites lines from her previous performances.

Backstory

Not much is said about Eden's past other than her stardom and fall from the spotlight. As a novice, she was very determined to reach the top. Apparently, she was really picky about venues and bookings, which made people think she had a huge ego. She cut ties with the company that managed her and secured a performance on her own. The first venue she got a spot on was a small one for charity. Some of the people who attended recorded her singing and posted it online, which garnered a lot of attention. Professionals praised her talent, and said she would rise to popularity at some point. There were also critics, of course. Despite the challenges on her path, Eden did rise to the highest stage. Her generosity and talent brought in more and more fans until she was the biggest name of her time. She lived in extravagant homes, and drank the finest wine, all while improving with each performance. But Honkai ended that life. She was performing in Sydney's Super Dome when the 7th Herrscher appeared. The fire engulfed the country and the venue. Only Eden and a few others survived. She did her best in the relief work, but deep inside she wished she had died. Her manifestation says as much when talking to Raiden Mei. Without the world of art, she felt there was no need for her existence. Nevertheless, she kept going. When she was receiving treatment after the disaster, she got to know some MOTH soldiers: including Elysia. Elysia asked her to join them, and she did. Eden thought that even though she couldn't perform anymore, she could still shine bright as a soldier. She wanted to live her life to the fullest until it ended. She decided to participate in the MANTIS program, and asked Elysia to give her the most dazzling Honkai Beast. Normally, this wouldn't be possible, but Elysia said if multiple beasts were compatible with her she might get to choose. After the fruitless battle against the Final Herrscher, Eden chose not to encapsulate herself in the cryo pods. She firmly believed that she belonged to this era and that she should die with it. She sang one last song as she headed out into the desolate wasteland alone and let the world being resets along with the World.

Trivia

When drunk, she gives away treasure. This seems to be a common occurrence, but Eden says she "likes it that way." It is hinted that when she drinks she remembers her long gone stardom"+"she drinks she remembers her long gone stardom"+"She funded the Elysian Realm (formerly known as the Golden Courtyard). She eventually gave it to Mobius"+"Kevin and Su were fans of hers in high school"+""The Kingdom After Dusk" and "When the Daffodils Bloomed" are names of two plays she starred in"+"Eden was actually the designated leader of Project EMBER, but she gave the role to Fu Hua+Eden was the original owner of the 9th Divine Key, which was previously called Cosmic Harmony who have powers to control gravity and make blackholes.

MANTIS Project

The MANTIS project, otherwise known as Project Soldier, aimed to give humanity a better chance versus the Honkai. The name stands for Massively Augmented Neo-Tech Integrated Soldiers, which is fairly accurate to what a MANTIS is. As suggested, it entails a human given strength through modified Honkai genes called Meta-Morph ICHOR (Intra-Chromosomal Honkai Gene Repeats). The genes are combined via the Meta-Morph surgery. They also created Meta-Morph Activators, which were to be used for extreme combat situations. This is always a risky process to take, however, and a human could very well cascade and become a Honkai Beast if they overdose. An Active Honkai Reaction, or artificial cascade, is the final form of the MANTISes that can be manually activated. It fully turns them into the Honkai Beast their genes came from. All MANTISes have the natural instinct to activate it and have to be actively suppressing it. Dr. Mobius is known to have activated this form (with her sim being able to access a less powerful version), and Kevin said if he were to unleash his, the world would end. Originally, Kevin Kaslana was made into a MANTIS to defeat the 7th Herrscher. He was infused with the genes of Parvati to give him the ability to drown out the Herrscher's fire with ice. It was successful, and Dr. MEI went on to create more soldiers. But this experiment had consequences, and he became freezing cold in body temperature. Physical contact with humans could prove fatal for them. Others followed in his path with varying success. It was rare for people to survive the surgery, and it is unknown how many MANTISes were made in total. It has been confirmed that Dystopia and Ato were both MANTIS, at least. When the 11th Herrscher attacked, only 13 soldiers survived the battle. These MANTISes were brought together under the banner of "The Thirteen Flame-Chasers" as the last hope of humanity. Their leaders are Kevin and Elysia. Elysia was the one to decide the ranking. It was less based on strength and more on her whims. For example: Fu Hua was coded twelfth because she was young, and Elysia did not want her to get swept up in politics. Mobius was ranked tenth to reduce her influence over the group. Fu Hua in particular is a special case, due to being the only confirmed Flame-Chaser to have perfectly adapted to SWARA. It is also important to note Kevin's Parvati genes were passed down onto his descendants. Activation of these genes is required though. Siegfried Kaslana managed to do so in order to combat Sirin, but it had a lasting impact on his body. The other Flame-Chasers regard Aponia with caution, especially since she has a power akin to mind control. Alongside Su and Fu Hua, Aponia is one of the few psychic MANTISes. She is kept in the Deep End indefinitely to ensure the safety of the remaining members of MOTH. When Su visited her once, he described "holy music" filling his head, causing him to have a desire (which he resists) to worship her. Kosma was eventually confirmed to be a Flame-Chaser, but as for the others mentioned in Hero's Memory 11, their relation to the Flame-Chasers is unclear. A few things have been confirmed: Dystopia is Kosma and Griseo's friend and Ato is Griseo's father. These two were among the first 7 MANTISes, with Dystopia being described as having the power of psychokinesis.

Honkai

The Honkai is a reoccurring cataclysm coming in different forms such as: Honkai Beasts, plagues, an ice age, illness, etc. for the sole purpose of exterminating civilization. Honkai corresponds with that civilization's advancement, meaning the more it progresses, the more Honkai does as well. The force behind Honkai is the Will of Honkai. In the more grand scheme of things, Honkai is a form of natural selection, “pruning” weak worlds from the branches of the Imaginary tree, to ensure that only strong worlds survive. One of Honkai attempt is Honkai Radiation, also known as the Honkai Sickness, is a fatal disease with 100% mortality rate that has only one cure. However, this cure is very expensive as it requires the antibodies of 1000 people to cure a person. So far, the only known people who have received it are Su and his mentor. Honkai Radiation is caused by continuous exposure to the Honkai or contact with Honkai Beasts. Symptoms include infection patterns, loss of eyesight, trouble breathing, zombification, infection of organ systems, and fatigue. Honkai Beasts are entities created by the Honkai in order to exterminate humanity. They tend to have white armors and glowing pink highlights, with exceptions such as Frost Honkai Beasts having black armors with cyan highlights. Honkai Beasts are divided by classes depending on their destructive power. The Honkai attempts to control certain individuals, and creates Herrschers with them as its hosts. With these hosts, Honkai attempts to end civilization as usual, but with much more deadly consequences due to the cores formed in the process. If successful, Herrschers have a way bigger capacity of Honkai energy. With this capacity, they have more chance of causing destruction on the highest scale. It has been shown that Herrschers can destroy whole continents, some simply due to their Eruption by itself.

FIRE MOTH

Fire Moth (AKA The Moth Who Chases The Flames, MOTH as an acronym for Myrmidons of Taskforce Honkai) was a worldwide Anti-Honkai organization from the Previous Era, with technologies surpassing what even the Current Era could only dream of. Fire Moth used Honkai powered weapons along with genetically edited and strengthened soldiers called MANTISes to fight the Honkai, being led by Dr. MEI. Unfortunately, the Honkai wiped them out, only leaving fragments of the technologies and legacies for the Current Era to use.

Divine Keys

Divine Keys are pieces of Previous Era technology, usually weapons, made using a Herrscher's Core. They hold the powers of their respective Herrscher and are made with a kind of nanotechnology called "Soulium". The Divine Keys were mainly created by Vill-V — who was leading their development until the 6th Divine Key. She still helped out with their creation afterwards, but she had significantly less influence by then.Divine Keys are pieces of Previous Era technology, usually weapons, made using a Herrscher's Core. They hold the powers of their respective Herrscher and are made with a kind of nanotechnology called "Soulium".
