Hinako is a teenage girl of average height with dark brown eyes and short black hair that fully covers one ear. She wears the standard Hoshinomiya Girls' School Uniform, meaning a white sailor fuku blouse and navy blue plaid skirt. The top features a sky blue chest ribbon. She also wears dark, knee length socks and brown penny loafers. As a Reflector, her physical appearance is slightly altered, with her hair changing to light brown/blonde and her eyes becoming heterochromatic -- her right eye turning blue and her left remaining brown. She wears a ballerina-inspired ensemble, featuring a white leotard and above-the-knee skirt, with a bit of the pink petticoat showing. The short, white sleeves are of the same material as the skirt, and feature the same petticoat material underneath. Only a few elements of the original school uniform remain, the most noticeable being the white-on-blue pinstripes. Her main accessories are the pink and teal chest and hair ribbons, a pink, star-shaped pendant, and thin, transparent scarves of the same hue. Interestingly, her blue ballet flats feature heels, indicating the kind of mobility her Reflector form has granted her.

Shirako Hinako Personality.

Hinako used to be full of spirit and was passionate for ballet. After receiving a leg injury that ends her young career, she feels like giving up in life, and doesn't want to go to school or meet anyone. A chance encounter with Shijō Yuzuki (Yuzu) and Shijō Raimu (Lime) changes her life forever. By becoming a Reflector, she has newfound hope that her leg can be healed once she defeats all the Sephira. Along the way, Hinako also regains the confidence necessary to help her schoolmates with their personal issues. Hinako is something of a 'straight woman'; the more excitable personalities at Hoshinomiya Girls High School frequently clash or bounce off of her, and she can only respond to their antics with a sense of astoundment or incredulousness.

Shirako Hinako past.

Hinako made it to the finals of a prestigious international ballet competition, and it seemed that the door to success stood wide open for her...Until she injured her knee and was forced to withdraw. She did not fully recover. Weighed down by the sadness of being unable to dance, she became quiet and introverted, withdrawing from school entirely for a number of months. But she never forgot the ballet lessons she took every day for ten years, and clings to hope that one day she will dance again.

Shirako Hinako name etymology.

Shirai means "white" (白) (shira) and "well, mine shaft, pit" (井) (i), which literally means "white well (water source)" altogether. Hinako means "sun, day" (日) (hi), "vegetables, greens" (菜) (na) and "child" (子) (ko), which literally means "child of the sun apple tree" altogether. Her nickname Hina is written in hiragana (ひな), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (陽菜 or 日菜), it could possibly mean [1]: 陽菜 - "light, sun, male" (陽) (hi) and "vegetables, greens" (菜) (na). 日菜 - "sun, day" (日) (hi) and "vegetables, greens" (菜) (na).

Shirako Hinako trivia.

Hinako has an Aunt named Yoshiko who is a famous fashion designer working out of Italy. Yoshiko started a famous designer brand called "Draw Hearts". Yoshiko is a friend of Sugamoto Shihori's Mother, and because of this, Hinako owns a matching dress with Shihori. These dresses are the only two copies of the design ever produced. Hinako's house is located near a train station.

Hinako fights with a translucent blue straight sword. It is a versatile weapon, capable of thrusts, slashes and batting magical projectiles towards enemies. She can also turn the sword into a spear, which she flings at her opponent from the sky.

Reflectors.

Reflectors are young women who can fight using the power of feelings(Ether) by using rings that harness the power of emotions (Ether) as energy. They can infuse their feelings to create weapons, transform and more. However, not everyone can make use of the rings' powers, only a woman could wear it's.

Reflectors ring's.

All Reflectors have a ring comprised of a triangular shaped gem in which the gem color varies. As the Ring act the catalyst for the Reflector to control the Ether, as the Ring cannot being separated from the Reflector finger and cannot being wear by the other Reflector.

Sephira

Sephira it's a species of larges crystal being who it's manifest far away from Earth, they it's a colony who the purpose it's to dry all the Ether in the Common to continue to drain all life energy of the planet. Sephira it's mindless and animalistic beings who it's have no thought or even common sense, but have great intelligence. They It's already have being destroy by the former Reflectors but the piece it's remaining at another dimension of Earth and will continue to growth to drain the Earth Ether. Only the wielders of Reflector Ring's could sense and attack they due to their status and lives in other dimensions of Earth.

Ether

Ether it's the source of of energy who it's exist by product of emotion, as this energy it's the one who the reason why Sephira go into the Earth. as the Reflectors need Ether to uses their power.

The Common

The other dimensions of the Earth, who it's where the Sephira it's could manifest due to the abudances energy of Ether in The Common, the Reflector it's could go into this dimension uses their power. As this dimension it's also the manifestations of Human Souls and Collectives thoughts and Emotion, which it's the reason why many Ether could being exist in that world. The Common it's unbound by the space-time, which make the Reflector must being careful for go inside, because if they careless they could being teleport into past or futures or even alternative dimensions, The Common also have being protected by a Dimensional Barrier which prevent any beings (Aside from Reflectors and Sephira go inside.)

Shijo Raimu

Shijo Raimu it's one of the Reflectors and also Shirako friend and Shinjo Yuzuki sisters. Lime has long wavy blonde hair and pale, green eyes. She wears the standard Hoshinomiya Girls' School Uniform with a blue neck ribbon, white thigh-high stockings and brown dress shoes. In her Reflector form, Lime wears a ballet-inspired costume with a white and blue leotard, white skirt and a green flower barrette. This is complimented by full-length white gloves, calve-length white boots, and a green chest bow. Her primary weapon is Mr. Bear, a yellow magical teddy bear which can grow to several times its original size, and which Lime can direct like a puppet. Of the two sisters, Lime is more selfish and logical, as she seems to care more about her cause than of the welfare of others. Hinako and Yuzu are very important to her, however. Lime is a good pal and generally joins in on fun school activities. She can also be stern. and will draw a line if she finds the antics of others unacceptable, or feels that they are wasting time.

Shijo Yuzuki

Yuzu has long blonde hair worn in braided pigtails tied with red hair ribbons. She has brown eyes. She wears the standard Hoshinomiya Girls' School Uniform with a blue neck ribbon, blue knee-high socks and brown dress shoes. In her Reflector form, Yuzu wears a ballet-inspired costume with a white and blue leotard, a short white skirt with a cleave in the front, and a transparent, purple half-mantle and chest bow. The red hair ribbons are replaced with a purple flower hair clip, and she now sports white and blue thigh-high boots. Yuzu fights with a pink/purple magical girl scepter, which can be split into two weapons to double the number of blunt attacks, or to better saturate an area with magical projectiles. Yuzu has a type of personality that is liked by everyone, as she's cheerful and warm.
