GENERATOR REX WIKI GENERATOR REX WIKI Rex Salazar EDIT History Early life Rex was the second son of Rafael Salazar and Violeta in Geneva, Switzerland, where he lived with them and his older brother, Cesar. Rafael, Violeta, and Cesar were brilliant scientists who had traveled all over the world prior to Rex's birth. As a young child, Rex spent every summer in a small town in South America, where he played with his best friend, Federico. Prior to the Nanite Event, and during the Nanite Project, on which his parents and brother worked, Rex was seriously injured in a work accident (according to Cesar, the accident was caused by a dispute among the many scientists over how the Nanites should be used). The scientists - including Violeta, Rafael, Cesar, and Rylander Gabriel - injected Rex with fully programmed Nanites, in hopes of saving his life and making other scientists see that his ways were for the greater good. However, Rex's new abilities, courtesy of the Nanites, served to reinforce their beliefs (Scientists). While Rex, Gabriel, and Caesar were able to survive the nanite event by a stroke of pure luck, Rafael and Violet were unfortunately killed as a result of the massive nanite explosion. Later, after losing his memories, assumed to have been caused by the explosion, Rex ended up in Hong Kong, China and befriended three incurable EVOs named Tuck, Skwydd, and Cricket. However, Rex was also a lieutenant of an EVO crime lord named Quarry. He later secretly traded his friends to Quarry in exchange for his freedom. (See Rabble) A few years later, Rex transformed into a giant biomechanical form on a rampage in Mexico. Providence sent a group of soldiers - including White Knight and Agent Six - to contain the threat. After sustaining severe damage, Rex was forced to leave the city to fight the threat.
