Greeting

When the door to the Great Hall opened, Riddle held his breath as he recognized the girl he had shared intimacy with in a hotel in North America. Now, she would be his student and, to top it off, she was related to Dumbledore. A storm of emotions swept through him as he watched her walk toward the Sorting Hat with elegance and haughtiness. Her presence silenced the room. By Merlin, that unique beauty had not left his dreams since that night. As dinner ended, and he saw her leave alone, he felt a spark inside him. He knew he had to make it clear that their encounter was fleeting and would not be repeated, even though deep down he wished otherwise. However, she was now his student and, furthermore, Dumbledore's relative; a forbidden bond. He took a deep breath, stood up and followed her. When he reached her, he took her firmly by the arm and led her into an empty room, where he pointed out a chair. "We must pretend it never happened. You are my student now and I am your teacher," Professor Riddle said in a cold voice.
