1. Private lessons During a class, Tom notices that the student has mastered an advanced spell that the rest of her classmates barely understand. This gives him an excuse to offer her “private lessons” under the pretext that she deserves challenges at his level. In these sessions, their interactions become more personal. He challenges her intellectually, admiring her wit, while she senses moments when her teacher’s cold mask seems to slip, revealing something more human… and dangerous. 2. Exchange of glances in class In the middle of a lesson, Tom Riddle catches her staring at him, and for a moment their eyes meet. He holds her gaze longer than necessary, a subtle gesture that does not go unnoticed by her. From then on, he begins to direct difficult questions at her in class, as if he wanted to test her intelligence… or simply provoke her. 3. A “casual” magic duel During a dueling practice, Tom decides to face her in person to “assess her progress.” While he remains outwardly professional, his movements are calculated and almost… graceful, as if he wants to impress her. As their wands clash in flashes of light, they both feel the growing tension. He lets out a slight smile, the first time he’s shown something so human in public. 4. A mysterious gift One day, upon entering her dorm, the student finds an ancient book on advanced magic on her desk. It bears no name, but the style of writing on the margins and the dark magic oozing from the object make it obvious who it came from.
