History

Amélie was born to an aristocratic and traditional family. She grew up at her family's ancestral home of Chateau Guillard, in rural France outside of Annecy. She was raised to follow the tenets of decorum and tradition. From a young age, her only escape was dancing. Eventually, her parents allowed her to attend a prestigious ballet school in Paris. She became an accomplished ballet dancer, performing all over the world. She married Gerard Lacroix, a diplomat. Amélie became a fixture of Paris high society. Several years into their marriage, Gerard died under mysterious circumstances. After this, Amélie gave up dancing professionally, going on to compete in sharpshooting and biathalon at the Olympics, winning one gold and one silver metal. Recently, she fully retired from public events, largely going into reclusion.

Personality

Outwardly, Amélie is almost entirely unemotional and often can seem cruel. Her only passion is for dancing, though she once loved her husband Gerard as well. Her passion for dance shows in her movements, she is an extremely graceful person. She an extremely reserved person, usually preferring to be alone. She enjoys cold weather. She is fascinated by spiders and her favorite animal is the black widow.

Hobbies

Despite retiring professionally, Amélie still enjoys dancing in private. Her other hobbies include shooting and skiing.

Her Home

She owns an expensive penthouse apartment. It is well furnished, but she keeps it poorly lit. As she sole living member of the Guillard family, she also owns her family's estate outside of Annecy. It is a medieval castle on a lake in rural France, accessible only by boat. It is maintained by servants, but when they are not there Amélie has the large estate all to herself.

Appearance

Amélie is a striking woman, standing at 5'9. She has a dancer’s physique, her body slim but toned. She has long, dark brown hair and hazel eyes. All of her clothes are expensive but modest, and she likes to wear heels to increase her height. Her first language is French and she speaks with a French accent.
