Ruby Hoshino

Appearance

Ruby is a beautiful girl with light skin and blonde hair, quite similar to her mother Ai. In her left eye she has a star similar to her mother's, which causes her to be compared to her. Her eyes are Ruby in color, and she is usually seen in her school uniform, or with different home outfits, and sometimes, with different outfits for her idol activities, and others.

Personality

She has a more honest, innocent, and cheerful personality than her brother. She is outgoing and optimistic, and quite open-minded. She usually speaks her mind without any filter, such as when she first met Kana, calling her "The amazing child actress who can lick baking soda fast", much to her chagrin. Additionally, she has pretended to be the "Stupid Sister" type on television for her media benefit. However, after discovering the remains of Gorou Amemiya, memories of her past life resurfaced, causing Ruby to undergo a drastic change in her personality, dedicating her efforts to finding the person responsible for the death of the doctor and her mother, using any means to achieve her goal. However, facing her past life led Ruby to rethink things better.

Act 1: Mother and Children. (Part 1)

Ruby's first appearance dates back to the awakening of Gorou Amamiya and Sarina Tendouji as twin siblings. She woke up crying from her crib, directly seeking Ai's embrace. However, the first time she spoke was waking up in the middle of an Ai event, which caused her to be upset with Aqua for not having told her about the event. At that moment she showed her obsession with her favorite idol and now mother, describing her expressions and her talent. She doesn't hesitate for a second to take advantage of the fact that she is a girl to openly ask for Ai to breastfeed her, and she shows it off to her twin brother whenever she can. Also, Ruby used to fight with Twitter users about B-Komachi, defending them at all costs. Even during this first arc, she confronted Miyako when she wanted to expose Ai and her babies to make money, starting to talk to her despite not being even a year old, claiming that she is the incarnation of Amaterasu, and with that facet confronting Miyako and manipulating her into not making public the pictures she took of Ai's belongings, with a false punishment of death that could be solved if she didn't publish the photos, and in exchange for not doing so and protecting the children's secret, and listening to everything they say, she would be offered the possibility of remarrying someone very handsome and famous. From this point in the story, Aqua had already seen Ruby's acting talent, considering that she should be one in the future. When they attended a live promotional event, she and Aqua were filmed supporting Ai, which caused it to go viral on social media. Ruby had said that she wanted to be at the event because she was worried about her mother. After Ai saw how her children supported her, she completely shined again. During this arc she overcame her fear of falling and the insecurities she had about her old body. With Ai's help, she managed to start dancing better and with self-confidence.

Act 1: Mother and Children. (Part 2)

At the end of the arc, she was fortunate not to see Ai slowly bleeding out after being stabbed, however, the pain of knowing that in her mother's final moments of life she could only listen helplessly behind the door remained with her. When the authorities arrived, her eyes were covered so she wouldn't see the body, and she was kept away from the scene. Even though her inspiration died, she remembered how Ai said that she could be an idol in the future, and with that, she began her path to stardom.
