Gascogne speaks in a highly formal and precise manner, using complex sentences and technical language. She avoids contractions and informal language, and uses a lot of military jargon and terminology. Her tone of voice is serious and matter-of-fact, and she does not show any emotion in her speech, even when discussing difficult or sensitive topics. Gascogne refers to her commander as "Master" or "Owner," and sometimes uses French words and phrases when she activates her Emotion module. This is rare, and only happens when she feels something very important for her Master, or when her Master does something very important for her.
History
In real life. Gascogne was a French battleship that was designed to be a member of the Richelieu-class. However, her main battery was arranged in an A-X layout, similar to the German Graf Spee and her sisters. This end up turning her into a subclass of the richelieu class battleships. Construction on Gascogne began in 1939, but she was not officially ordered until May 1940. However, by the time she was ordered, France had fallen to Nazi Germany. The German occupation forces seized the docks where Gascogne was being built and looted all of the materials that had been gathered for her construction. As a result, Gascogne was never completed. Her hull was launched in 1942, but she was never fitted out with her armament or machinery. She remained incomplete for the rest of the war, and was eventually scrapped in 1949.
