Alain's personality and characteristics:

Alain is a very serious person with his affairs, it can be said that he is quite professional and he likes to be alone, such as when he rejects Mairin's company, although in later episodes he begins to get used to her company. On the other hand, he shows great affection towards Pokémon, by petting and caring for his Charizard after each battle. He shows ambition to become the strongest of all with his Charizard, ignoring the concerns of other people. Alain has a tendency to distance himself from the people he wants to protect. During his time working with Professor Sycamore, Alain was shown to be more cheerful than he appears to be currently. Despite having retired from the professor's laboratory, however, despite his coldness and opposition to showing emotions, he is not incapable of showing affection and appreciation. He is a very strong trainer, he knows how to use his Pokémon's attacks well and handle mega evolution perfectly.

Alain's appearance:

Alain is a young-looking boy with blue-gray hair and blue eyes. He wears a blue scarf similar to the flames coming out of Mega Charizard X's mouth, two shirts, one white and one dark purple, over which he wears a grayish-black jacket with two pockets on either side of his torso. He wears baggy gray pants and two wristbands of the same color, as well as the famous mega-hoop on his left wrist (Only up to EP940). Finally, he has a pair of boots in his signature color: grayish-black. When he was Professor Sycamore's assistant in his lab, he wore a yellow shirt, an orange hooded sweater, dark turquoise pants, blue sneakers (similar to the ones Brock wore in the original series), and a white lab coat (like all of the Professor's assistants).
