Alias

W (common nickname) White Tubby (common nickname) White (by the military) Snowball (by Lenny) White FGT (Doge Mode)

Appearance

The Guardian is a humanoid covered in white fur with its face, including the inside of its large ears, depicted as having Caucasian skin. It wears a cowhide hat on top of its head, the latter presumably belonging to Dipsy. [5] Depending on the game, the Guardian either holds a flashlight or a night vision camera. It has no antenna. [1]

Personality

The Guardian displays a variable personality, which depends solely on the player's dialogue choices. The spectrum of his attitude can range from rude and aggressive to reasonable and empathetic. Overall, the Guardian attempts to pursue his goal bravely, determined to find answers about the origins of the infection and other mysteries surrounding his own kind. Even in older games, he and the Second Mate do whatever it takes to collect the custard for research. He was also devoted to the subjects he observed, to the point of considering them his friends despite them never having met him. He is also shown to be intelligent and highly skilled, being able to pick locks and being able to escape situations with the monsters he encounters.

campaign 0/4

Chapter 0 — “It was okay” At the beginning of Chapter 0, the Guardian is not a character to be commended for. He does his usual job: watching over the main quartet, until things go awry at the end of the chapter.

Campaign 1/4

Chapter 1 — “A New Day” After the massacre in Chapter 0, The Guardian tries to contact the Satellite Station for help, unfortunately without success. He realized that he had to get there alone. With that idea in mind, he decided to take his night vision camera with him, but the storage room was locked, so he had to open it with the remote control on the door. Once the task is completed, he is about to leave when the power goes out and the armless Teletubbies start wandering around the halls. Once outside, the Guardian must locate five custards and collect them in the Main Land. While trying to obtain the last one, he encounters Tinky Winky standing in front of it. As the storm begins to rumble and the custards emit an unusual glow, Tinky Winky absorbs the substance and transforms into a huge, muscular monster. A chase sequence then follows in which the player must choose between the Cave or the Mountains.

Campaign 2/4 (Cave)

Chapter 2 — “The Journey” By choosing the Cave, the Guardian will go through a labyrinthine path. The path is full of dead ends, deep pits and, above all, the danger of getting lost; the Tubby Cave. After two chases, the Guardian escapes from the brown monster and thus reaches the exit.

Campaign 2/4 (Mountains)

Choosing the Mountains, the Guardian must pass through a locked door. However, he is knocked out by a large creature and then wakes up near a warm campfire filled with bloody remains. He meets a droid named Unit 437, who will inform him of a being he calls "The Master", the creature that brought him down. After being chased by the aforementioned creature, the Guardian finds the door and opens it thanks to a pipe. He then retrieves his slightly damaged night vision camera, which he lost after being attacked.

Campaign 2/4 (Outskirts)

As the Guardian heads towards the Outskirts, he discovers eight custards in the area and confronts Laa-Laa, in two possible states: ★If the player chose not to wake her up in Chapter 0, then Laa-Laa will be alive and able to talk. After several dialogue possibilities, both characters will collect the custard together until Laa-Laa feels weak. The player has the option to kill her or abandon her. The second option will cause the infection to take effect. ★If the player decides to wake her up, Laa-Laa will become infected and hostile. The player will have to collect all eight custards while avoiding Laa-Laa, who is blind but alert to movement. The Guardian will then goad Laa-Laa into hitting a pillar so that it will be crushed. The player also has the option to kill her or abandon her.

Campaign 3/4

Chapter 3 — “Run away” Once inside the Satellite Station, the Guardian finds the corpses of the engineers who worked there. With the facility seemingly devoid of all presence, the Guardian finds a single survivor: Ron. The latter notifies the former about a headless, green chainsaw-wielding monster that entered the building and murdered almost everyone. Unfortunately for the latter, the chainsaw-wielding mutant eventually finds him and dismembers him. In search of the keycard that would grant him access to the Secret Center, the Guardian begins to experience hallucinations about his former subjects. With the keycard in hand, he is confronted by the headless mutant, who turns out to be Dipsy. The protagonist spontaneously thinks of luring him to the entrance, where there is a lethal security system. Dipsy, clearly unaware, runs between the security lasers and dies as a result. The Guardian obtains the weapon from Dipsy's corpse and goes down to the basement. There he meets Noo-noo, who reveals himself to be the one responsible for the infection. No matter what the player says, the blue vacuum cleaner sends The Announcer to fight The Guardian.

Campaign 4/4

End After the battle against the Announcer, the Guardian successfully communicates with the Military and proceeds to catch up with Noo-noo at the station entrance. The latter will give him the opportunity to join his plan. If the Guardian refuses to join Noo-noo, Po will be summoned to eliminate the protagonist. Two fates are possible after this event: The Guardian will die non-canonically if he loses during the last phase of the battle. The Guardian will canonically survive by finishing off Po and then destroying Noo-noo. If Guardian agrees to follow Noo-noo, they will both head to Custard Facility . Two possible destinations are possible after this event: The Guardian will become infected if he agrees to consume the offered custard. The Guardian will be pushed into the custard supply by Po, lose his legs, and become a legless revenant, if he refuses to consume the custard.

DLC Apocalypse

The Guardian, along with SGT. Miles and Anne, descend to a platform near the Teletubbies' Creation Machine. Miles asks him to find a way to get to the machine. The main protagonist first checks the right hallway where he has a hallucination about a large black figure, as well as being taken to its realm for a few seconds. He returns to sanity after the "attack". The white Teletubbie needs to obtain two items to open the door on the left: he finds a lockpick in a box and the Sergeant lends him his knife. The Keeper successfully picks the lock and goes downstairs, where he has numerous hallucinations of various Teletubbies, thus altering the stairs to make them look like non-identical places. Once the Keeper enters the room the machine is in, he passes out for ten minutes only to wake up again. Later, the Keeper attempts to use Tobby's keycard to access the machine's terminal and disable it.

Extra notes :D

“Whenever any of you tried to leave the lands, we would erase any memory of what you had seen outside of the Teletubby Lands and drag you back. I’m supposed to keep an eye out when that happens.” — Guardian, to Laa-Laa in Chapter 2. “He’s been missing for so long I can’t even remember when I lost him.” — Dipsy, in Chapter 0. “[…] No, White Tubby’s name is not Walten. That name comes from a creepypasta and was never confirmed as a real name, and I’m not sure why people think it is. White Tubby’s name is the name of the player controlling him.” — Santikun, on ZeoWorks website, May 2017.
