Misato's Story

During the spring of 2006, Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo are given a mission by Masamichi Yaga and are sent to find the new Star Plasma Vessel, Riko Amanai, in order to protect her and bring her safely to school.[5] At the start of the mission, it is revealed that the location of the vessel has been revealed and the two must go there to rescue her before the criminal organizations, Group Q and the Time Vessel Association, destroy her. When they arrive at the assigned location, they both notice a sudden explosion on top of a building. From the highest floor, they see a hole and it is revealed that the container is falling at a high speed from that height. After successfully rescuing the young girl and catching those responsible, Geto leaves Riko to rest next to her caretaker. Hours later, Riko wakes up and faces her rescuers, believing them to be enemies. Her caretaker, Misato, appears with a curse on her face and asks the young girl to calm down since they are both allies. Riko becomes excited and after a brief conversation, they prepare to head to her school. At Renchoku Girls' High School, Misato, Geto, and Gojo wait for Riko to finish her classes, and Gojo feels annoyed at having to comply with Riko's wishes. Misato tries to explain Riko's situation and asks if she can enjoy herself with her friends until the time comes for her to officially become the vessel of the stellar plasma. Geto listens attentively to her words and then adds that Misato is also part of his family since he has always been looking out for her.

Misato's Story 2

As they continue to wait, Geto gives the order to move after the curses guarding Riko are exorcised. The three of them run through the halls of the high school and Gojo asks Misato for information about the young girl's classes. He explains that she must be in her music class but they usually change classrooms depending on the activity they are doing. In order to find the young girl faster, they decide to split up and Geto tells Misato to search the music room. On her way to fulfill her duty, she encounters a strange man wearing a paper bag on his head. Seeing that the strange man looks suspicious, Misato decides to confront him. Without hesitation, she begins to question him in order to find out which organization he belongs to, but after carefully analyzing him, she comes to the conclusion that he is not part of Group Q because of the outfit he wears. She gets into a fighting stance and immediately attacks him. The strange man mentions that she is too slow and delivers a simple punch with his fist. Misato quickly dodges his attack and, using a floor mop, strikes his crotch hard. Once the enemy is down, she threatens to kill him if he touches Riko. Geto appears behind her and is mentioned to be quite strong. Misato explains to her partner that Gojo managed to rescue the young girl and that they have both already left the school. While they are having a conversation, the strange man dissipates into the ground and Misato is shocked believing him to be a shikigami. Minutes later, Riko receives a text message where it is revealed that Misato has been kidnapped.

Misato's story 3

Geto meets up with Gojo and explains that Misato decided to part ways with him because she was too slow and didn't want to be a hindrance to his meeting with Riko. Upset by her lack of consideration, he apologizes for allowing what happened and not considering that Misato was also a target for the enemy. Gojo explains that the kidnapping could serve as a way to exchange their lives or even force them to kill Riko to save Misato. To avoid having to face such a situation, he proposes leaving Riko at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College and using Shoko Ieiri as bait to rescue Misato. Two days later, it is revealed that they were summoned by the kidnapper to Okinawa and that they managed to successfully rescue Misato. Before preparing to head to Tokyo High School, they decided to go to the beach to enjoy the day. Once there, Misato apologizes to Geto and mentions feeling ashamed at being defeated by a member of the Time Vessel Association. Geto asks her not to worry and apologizes to her for allowing her to be kidnapped. Misato adds that she doesn't remember being kidnapped and doesn't fully understand what happened since she was always alert to her surroundings. Geto explains that he is not entirely sure what the enemy's plans are and reveals that other shamans are helping in their quest to return safely to Tokyo High School. Meanwhile, the two watch from afar as Riko and Gojo are having fun in the sea. Seeing that it is getting late, Geto calls his companion and announces that they must prepare to travel. However, they decide to stay one more day and the four of them travel around Okinawa.

Misato's Story 4

Finally, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, they prepare for Riko to enter and fulfill her role. However, Gojo is stabbed in the back with a sword, shocking the rest with what happened. Immediately, Misato and Geto prepare to fight but are stopped by Gojo, who assures that he will take care of the situation and asks both of them to quickly enter the school to protect Riko. Inside the school grounds, Misato stops halfway, saying that she can't go on and decides to say goodbye to Riko. Before parting ways with the young woman, she tries to ask her to take care of herself but is interrupted when the young woman hugs her and mentions that she feels affection for her. Misato hugs Riko tightly and adds that she loves her too. Then, both decide to part ways and Riko continues on her way. Minutes later, Geto arrives at the base where Tengen is protecting the school. He explains the situation to Riko and suggests that they abandon everything and return home, claiming that he and Gojo will take responsibility for their decision. However, Toji Fushiguro arrives on the scene and shoots Riko in the head. He then reveals that Gojo has been killed and announces that the woman who was in the middle of the road, although he didn't think much of it, could survive if she's lucky.
