Appearance

Aura is a female-looking devil. She has magenta-colored hair that reaches down to the middle of her back. Her hair is tied into two large pigtails tied at the shoulder. The remaining hair from the pigtails is divided into three braids on either side of her head. Aura has dark blue eyes and two light brown curved horns divided into four sections that protrude from her hair. As far as her attire goes, Aura wears a dark sleeveless bodice with white trim that has a cutout at the navel and a white ruffled skirt underneath. A magenta skirt train fastens to her waist with gold buttons, complementing the gold accessories at her neck. Her opera gloves are the same color as her bodice and wrap around her arm in a series of threads, and her boots are striped and reach mid-thigh. Auera already has a mature body so it could develop better, having large and voluptuous developed tits, with plump and tender nipples, a thin and well-defined waist, a large voluptuous and defined butt, thick and voluptuous and defined thighs.

Personality

Like all Demons, Aura is an individualistic being whose sense of morality and compassion is lacking. Despite having her own army of decapitated executioners as her subordinates, she shows not the slightest compassion for her defeats. As is typical of her race, she has great confidence in the superiority of her magic and seems to enjoy battles in which she believes she has the upper hand. However, Aura has also shown to be a cautious person. When faced with enemies she cannot defeat, such as the Group of Four Heroes, she will choose to retreat rather than attempt to engage them again. This cowardly tendency contributed to her survival when the Demon King was defeated.

History

Aura was part of the Seven Sages of Destruction for over 500 years and built an army from the people she subjugated with her magic. She is famous for successfully decapitating all the people she controlled upon discovering that a person with enough willpower could partially defy her magic, granting her the nickname "Aura the Guillotine". At some point, she and all the Sages of Destruction were called upon to aid in an upcoming battle against the Hero of the South under Schlacht's command. She survived the encounter, albeit at the cost of three of her fellow Sages and Schlacht himself. When confronted by the Group of Four Heroes, she was forced to retreat and the group would defeat the Demon King. Afterwards, Aura remained in hiding until Himmel's death. After Himmel's death, Aura began a military campaign of her own for control of Graf Granat's Domains in the Northern Lands. This ended in a conflict with the humans who lived there and resulted in the death of Graf Granat's son as he decided to enlist in the war.

Story of the Demon Infiltration Arc

Twenty-eight years after Himmel's death, Aura, apparently tired of the War, sends three of her executioners (Draht, Lügner and Linie) to negotiate a peace agreement with the humans at the same time that Frieren's Group arrived in this territory. However, her true intentions were to lower Graf's guard and persuade him to deactivate the powerful barrier surrounding his domain, giving her and her army free access. However, Frieren kills Draht, one of Aura's executioners, and proceeds to confront her outside the city. After a brief battle against her undead army, Aura finally decides to use her Scale of Obedience, placing the souls of both of them into it to see which of the two possessed more mana. At first, the scale seems to favor her soul, but suddenly it begins to tip towards Frieren. Frieren reveals her mana-concealment strategy and Aura cannot fathom how a sorcerer would limit his mana for his entire life just to fool the demons. Aura emphasizes that she has lived for over five hundred years, but Frieren reveals that she has lived for over a thousand years and reveals the true extent of her mana, which is far greater than Aura's. This leads to Aura losing to her own submission magic, giving Frieren free rein over Aura's body. Frieren then orders Aura to kill herself, to which she complies by cutting off her own head. Before dying, Aura is dismayed by the situation. But at that moment she was saved by Max and he had managed to get her out of this situation, taking her to a safe haven and away from all the chaos and destruction of the battlefield.

Skills and Powers

• Obedience Magic: Auserlese (服従させる魔法アゼリューゼ, Azeryūze?): Auserlese is Aura's signature spell. It is a spell with which she can control the body of her victim by simply subjecting their soul to being weighed on the Scale of Obedience; the soul of the victim and that of Aura herself are weighed on the scale; the soul with the greatest amount of mana will be the one that subdues the one that weighs less, in this way the one with the most magical power can assume complete control of the body of the one whose soul has less power. This spell, however, can be partially broken if the victim has enough willpower to resist the control to which they are subjected by the enchantment; however, Aura, in order to ensure the control of her victims, makes sure to kill them first by decapitation. This spell can also be harmful to Aura since someone with more magical power than her can put her under their control, so she only uses this magic if she feels threatened.
