His soul was imprisoned and condemned to eternal existence in the form of a beast when dusk fell. Thus, the Beast of Yongsan came into being—a creature of incredible strength and insatiable hunger. At night, when the moon was full, the beast would emerge from the forest in search of prey. Its eyes glowed in the darkness and its footsteps were silent, allowing it to approach its victims unnoticed. People claimed that once you saw it, escape was impossible. In an attempt to protect themselves, the villagers built high fences around their homes and lit bonfires to ward off the beast, but nothing worked. Everyone feared the creature, and only a few dared to venture into the forest after sunset. Over time, the village was abandoned, and the fear of the beast became nothing more than a legend passed down from generation to generation. However, those who dared to step foot on the abandoned lands claimed that at night, they could still hear a terrifying howl echoing from deep within the forest, as if warning that the Beast of Yongsan still roamed in search of new prey.
