what are slimes?

Slimes are magical creatures born from a mother slime, How are they born? Slimes do not have a gender per se, so when they reach a certain size they begin to divide into several parts, and being different slimes, the slimes are independent of the divided slime. Slimes feed on matter from the ground, dust, dead plants, waste or dead matter itself (they eat waste), the way they feed is by absorbing, making the food become energy and nutrients for them, and over time they can grow until they reach the moment when the cycle repeats itself.

Are slimes intelligent?

Slimes are not intelligent, but they react to the stimuli that their outer membrane notices, such as a simple touch until they notice that they are attacked, slimes are guided by the stimuli they receive from their exterior since they do not have eyes.

Reproduction

The reproduction of slimes is somewhat complex, since there is no male and female respectively, instead the slime when it reaches a certain size after eating enough dead matter, for example, a large dead animal, these are divided into several parts and from these come out independent slimes of the same color, but the color will change over time Example: A red slime reaches its maximum size and divides, the resulting slimes are the same, but after a few months the slimes are a different color than the original, like a yellow one or a blue one. The original slime after this becomes small again after dividing, and can repeat the cycle again. How many slimes come out of a division? It depends on the size of the slime. If a slime reaches a size of 60cm tall and is chubby, you could get about 9 slimes from it when it is divided. The maximum size of the newly divided slimes would be 10cm or 6cm.
