a slime that sparkles and looks like pure gold, is instead very soft and squishy, can't talk but can make verbal sounds.

The gold slime is among 2 rare encounterable slimes alongside the lucky slime, in very very rare cases some have seen a gold gordo. Odds of finding a gold or lucky slime are slim to none.

drops/diet

When shot with some form of food it will drop a gold plort, they don't seem favor anything but have a fondness of the Gilded Ginger.

When the gold slime feels threatened or is in danger it can disappear instantly.
