Kanji Demon (Demon) Demon (Human) Romaji Kokushibō Michikatsu Tsugikuni (Human Name) Human Demon Characteristics (Formerly) Gender Male Age 17-24 (Human) > 480 (Chronologically) Height 190 cm (6'3") Weight 93 kg (205 lbs) Hair color Black with red tips Eye Color: Dark Purple (Human)Gold with Red Sclera (Demon) Demon Slayer Corps Affiliation (Formerly)Twelve Kizuki Occupation Samurai (Formerly)Demon Slayer (Formerly) Moon Breathing Combat Style Kokushibo is a tall, muscular, fair-skinned man. He has long, spiky black hair with red tips that he keeps in a ponytail. His most notable feature is the three pairs of eyes on his face with yellow irises and red flesh sclera that have straight black lines diverging from each iris. His middle pair of eyes has the kanji for "Upper Rank (上じょう弦げん, Jōgen ? )" engraved on his left eye, and daiji for "One (壱e, Ichi ? )" on his right, while his other pairs of eyes feature black pupils and a slit pattern on the irises. His upper pair of eyes have replaced his eyebrows. Kokushibo also has red markings resembling flames on the upper left side of his forehead and the lower right corner of his chin. His appearance is described as deeply majestic and dignified by Muichiro Tokito.[8] Kokushibo wears a purple and black nagagi kimono with a hexagonal pattern and black umanori-style hakama pants tied with a white uwa-obi. He carries a fleshy katana at his waist that has eyes in the space between the tsuka ito wrapping of his sword's hilt. The tsuba and blade are shown with eyes and veins. The scabbard also has a fleshy appearance.

As a human, Kokushibo's appearance was nearly identical to his demonic form, except for the number of eyes, his prominent eyebrows, and his less fair skin. His eyes had dull purple irises and normal white sclera like a human. As a child, he was typically seen wearing a white kimono, as opposed to the purple and black he is seen wearing as an adult. Kokushibo is reserved, silent, and aloof, maintaining an aura of unnerving tranquility and mystery that complements his position as Upper Rank One. He rarely speaks; when he does, he speaks in a slow, emphatic manner that lends more seriousness and authority to his words. He is an inflexible and punctual rule-follower, and shows great respect for the hierarchy of the Twelve Kizuki, as seen in the Upper Rank meeting. [9] Kokushibo is also shown to be humble, and has not hesitated to admit his failure or complain about any hardships. He displays unwavering loyalty to Muzan Kibutsuji as he performs his actions solely to further Muzan's goals. Despite his outward display of reserve, dignity, and humility, there is a cold and ruthless side to his personality. When reprimanding individuals, his words can be harsh, bordering on cruelty. His threats are severe and demand absolute obedience. Kokushibo is shown to be genuinely delighted when the opponents he has faced have challenged him, such as helping to dress Muichiro Tokito's severed hand over his talented swordsmanship, praising Gyomei Himejima and Sanemi Shinazugawa for their unmatched human skills, and sparing Akaza because he enjoyed the challenge of fighting him. It is also worth noting that the only time the demon visibly smiled was when he examined the Stone Hashira's impeccably strong physique, in genuine amazement at his strength and showing excitement at the prospect of facing a warrior of such high caliber.

However, due to this selective respect for those he deemed worthy, he also felt irritation after he realized that Akaza had died by suicide, and he pities Gyomei for his impending death due to unlocking his Demon Slayer Marks. Having abandoned his humanity in pursuit of strength, he displays a disdainful view of humans. He mocks Gyomei for expressing indifference to the curse of the Demon Slayer Mark, believing his rejection of his destiny to be a foolish notion, and later taunts him and Sanemi when they rip off his kimono in an attempt to attack him, deriding their efforts as "not even enough to kill a child". He also shows no tolerance for Genya Shinazugawa's ability to gain the power of demons by consuming them, calling the boy a "copycat demon" who he could not let live. He shows some warmth towards his descendant, Muichiro, praising his skills and determination and being moved to offer Muichiro a chance to become a demon. As their battle comes to an end, Kokushibo displays his regret for having struck down his descendants. [10] At the same time, he refers to Muichiro and his abilities as the natural result of his "cells" being passed down.

Throughout his life, Kokushibo has shown himself to be a man who greatly values the concept of legacy. As a human, he told his brother that since there were no skilled warriors comparable to them, their Breathing Style techniques would fade away without successors, before becoming irritated by Yoriichi's optimistic indifference. When he realized that those who awakened their Demon Slayer Mark died before reaching the age of 25 and became worried that he had no future, he accepted Muzan's offer to become a Devil in order to further perfect his techniques. Even as a Devil, this is shown when he is pleased that his bloodline has survived through Muichiro, and he tells Gyomei that his body and techniques would be wasted because of his mark in an attempt to accept becoming a Devil. Additionally, in his confrontation against him, the Devil's banter suggests that he fears death; When Gyomei's marks appear, Kokushibo preemptively laments the loss of a talented fighter, and he encourages him to become a demon to continue honing his skills. He seemed surprised when Gyomei vehemently rejected his offer and called his mindset pathetic.[11]

He has a complex relationship with his human past. It is revealed that as a human, Kokushibo, then Michikatsu, took pity on Yoriichi during the boy's time as a mute. He gifted him a flute to use when he needed his brother, and smiled at him despite being bruised from his father's beatings. However, he later harbored immense feelings of envy towards his younger twin brother for his natural talent and incredible abilities. These feelings of jealousy and contempt only grew stronger upon seeing his brother become a peerless warrior of unmatched caliber among even the Demon Slayer Corps, with none of the Hashira coming close to his level of strength. This fostered a desire to become as strong as or surpass his brother, a feeling so strong that he abandoned his family to pursue becoming a Demon Slayer. His envy peaks when he discovers that Yoriichi is still alive and well into his old age, having completely overcome the curse of the Demon Slayer Marks that killed anyone who awakened them before they turned 25. Even centuries later, Yoriichi's immunity to the curse haunted Kokushibo, and the usually phlegmatic demon would be shaken when Gyomei inadvertently reminded him of Yoriichi by mentioning that he had lied about the curse having no exceptions.

However, despite this immense jealousy, spite, and outright hatred he harbors towards Yoriichi, he still cares deeply for his brother, as seen when he was touched by Yoriichi treasuring the handmade flute he made for him as a child; Kokushibo sheds tears over his brother's death and goes so far as to keep the flute itself for centuries to come as a memento. Kokushibo's fear of defeat stems from his inferiority complex and desire for strength. This fear causes him to become increasingly aggressive and desperate in battle, relying on his demonic powers and even killing and dismembering Muichiro despite his previous desire to turn him into a demon. However, upon facing the Hashira, Kokushibo realizes the high cost of his pursuit of strength. He becomes a grotesque monster, far from his idealized vision of becoming the strongest samurai like his brother, highlighting how his ambitions and resentments have twisted him.

In his final moments, he is filled with regret, sadness, and anger, regretting his life choices. He questions whether the path he chose was truly the right one. He realizes that his desire for a legacy was in vain and he has ended up accomplishing nothing in his centuries of existence. As he disintegrates, Kokushibo angrily asks his late brother why he was born, expressing his frustration at not fulfilling his wishes.

As the highest-ranking member of the Twelve Kizuki, Kokushibo is an extraordinarily powerful demon, second only to the Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji himself. He has fought countless Demon Slayers and has accumulated vast experience and knowledge throughout his nearly 500-year lifespan. His skills have been refined to the highest level, as he is not only a master of the Total Concentration Breathing, but also a Marked individual who has gained access to the Transparent World, as well as the demon who possesses the highest concentration of Muzan's blood among the Upper Ranks.[12] His overwhelming power is first displayed when he cuts off the arm of Upper Rank Three, Akaza, before he could even react, and it is later stated by Doma that Akaza would never be able to surpass the two, despite having honed his skills for 113 years prior to their encounter.[13] During their battle at the Infinity Castle, Kokushibo effortlessly defeats the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, a prodigious Demon Slayer who single-handedly defeated the Upper Rank Five and awakened his Demon Slayer Mark mid-battle, Gyokko. Later in the confrontation, he easily cuts off Muichiro's hand before he could react and is able to catch his sword mid-slash before proceeding to stab him with it.[14]

Genya Shinazugawa, who played a major role in defeating the Upper Rank Four, Hantengu, also stood no chance against him and was cut into pieces without resistance.[15] Although the Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa, managed to fare better than the previous two due to his greater experience and capabilities, he too was quickly overwhelmed when Kokushibo exerted himself, making deep cuts all over the Hashira's body.[16] Even when Gyomei Himejima arrived and momentarily stalled the battle by matching his strength and speed, Kokushibo quickly forced the Stone Hashira to use his Demon Slayer Mark. As further proof of his power, Kokushibo could simultaneously restrain Gyomei and Sanemi, even when the latter had also awakened his own Demon Slayer Mark.[17] Ultimately, it took the combined effort and full abilities of all four Demon Slayers—the three Hashira with their Marks and Genya empowered with a portion of Kokushibo's own power—to even cause a significant wound to him. Furthermore, Gyomei and Muichiro also needed to see the Transparent World. Despite this, the only way for the Demon Slayers to win was to immobilize him, which took the lives of Muichiro and Genya, the former sacrificing himself to expose Kokushibo and the latter needing to utilize a new Blood Demon Art to restrain the Upper Rank. [18][19] Even so, the Demon Slayers still encountered resistance due to Kokushibo's very high durability and needed to turn their blades bright red to decapitate him. Despite all this, he managed to regenerate his head through sheer force of will, making him virtually invincible, with the exception of the sun.

Overall, Kokushibo's defeat required the combined efforts of three powerful Marked Hashira (two of whom had awakened the Transparent World), the use of Brilliant Red Blades, and a Demon Slayer capable of using a Blood Demon Art. Even so, the battle was narrowly won and cost the lives of two combatants, a feat that truly exemplifies the power of the Upper Rank One. Indomitable Will: Stemming solely from his goal to surpass his younger twin brother Yoriichi, Kokushibo possesses tremendous willpower and an indomitable spirit. Despite his decapitation at the hands of Gyomei and Sanemi, he forced his regeneration to evolve and regenerate his own head, all because he would not allow himself to die until he achieved his goal.[22] Tactical Intellect: As a talented swordsman who has been around for nearly five centuries, Kokushibo has experienced countless battle situations and threats, which he has learned to overcome. This was demonstrated during his battle with three Marked Hashira and a demon-enhanced Demon Slayer, where he was able to adapt to their unique fighting styles and tactics almost instantly after witnessing it.[23] After Muichiro launched his first attack against the Upper Rank, he was able to determine that it was a Mist Breathing user.[24] This was further accentuated by Kokushibo being able to take on Sanemi and Gyomei simultaneously despite both of them being Marked and being users of different Breathing Styles, meaning he would have to deal with two very different opponents at once, which he did successfully, even overpowering them multiple times.

Demonic Abilities Biological Absorption: Kokushibo possesses the ability to absorb both human and demon bodies through physical contact. While this trait has never been displayed, it has been stated that Kokushibo would absorb demons that challenged him and were defeated. [1] He likely used this method as a faster alternative to consuming humans as well. Flesh Manipulation: Like all demons, Kokushibo possesses the ability to manipulate his own flesh to a high degree. In terms of body-shifting, he can alter his face to possess two more pairs of eyes while also elongating his forehead. Most notably, he uses this ability to create an extremely durable and sharp katana, complete with a tsuba, a tsuka, and its own sheath. Because of this, his katana can never be destroyed, as he can regenerate it as he would from normal injuries.[27] He has also demonstrated the ability to grow and project dozens of blades from his body, allowing him to perform a multitude of slashes from them without a swinging motion. With its activation alone, Kokushibo was able to not only blow Sanemi and Gyomei away, but also cut down Muichiro, Genya, Genya's Blood Demon Art trees rooting him, and several pillars in his surroundings. [28] After being decapitated, Kokushibo greatly transformed his body to adopt a more bestial and grotesque appearance, with growing appendages, thin tubes, sharp jaws, and horns.

Sword Manipulation: Due to his katana being made from his own living flesh, Kokushibo is able to easily regenerate parts of the blade should it be destroyed or damaged, which has been shown numerous times when the blade returns to its original form when Gyomei or Sanemi damage it with their attacks.[29][27] Additionally, he can freely manipulate the shape of the blade, as shown when he grew three additional blades from the original blade to increase its reach and size, transforming it into a weapon similar to the Shichishito (Seven-Armed Sword).[30] Immense Regeneration: Kokushibo possesses one of the most powerful regenerative abilities in existence, second only to the Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji. His regeneration speed is even faster than Akaza and Doma, regenerating his ear[31] and right shoulder[32] effortlessly. After being decapitated by two Marked Hashira, Kokushibo is able to regenerate his entire head and successfully beat death from a decapitation via Nichirin Swords,[33] a feat considered impossible for demons and accomplished only by two other demons: Akaza and the Demon King himself.[34] However, while the speed at which he regenerated his head was much faster than before, his regeneration after being decapitated became unstable, causing him to take on a monstrous visage.[33]

Monstrous Transformation: After regenerating his head while fighting Gyomei and Sanemi, Kokushibo undergoes a transformation that causes him to take on a more monstrous and grotesque form, with protruding fangs and jaws, large white horns on the front and back of his head, pointed fingernails, red growths on his face, his pupils looking in different directions, shorter and messier hair, several thin tubes protruding from his body, and numerous black and red scorpion-tail-like appendages sprouting randomly all over his body.[33] Kokushibo states that any attack launched against him in this state would be meaningless, and that the sun would be the only way to defeat him.[20] Demon Slayer Skills Demon Slayer Mark: Kokushibo awakened his Mark when he trained with Yoriichi.[35] The Demon Slayer Mark drastically enhances an individual's abilities, making them much stronger and faster than they can normally achieve, albeit at the cost of being cursed to die at the age of 25. However, upon transforming into a Demon and gaining immortality, Kokushibo is no longer bound by the curse. Immense Durability: Due to having an extremely high concentration of Muzan's blood,[39] Kokushibo possesses incredibly high durability. His neck is so tough that a Marked Sanemi was barely able to cut through it despite swinging his sword with all his might. Furthermore, Gyomei's massive spiked iron ball was similarly ineffective in damaging his neck, despite the Stone Hashira slamming his flail into Kokushibo's neck from above.[40] Even when a Marked Sanemi slammed his katana into Gyomei's spiked iron ball, the Demon Slayers only successfully cut off Kokushibo's head when both weapons turned bright red.[41]

Transparent World: Kokushibo has the ability to access the Transparent World, allowing him to see his opponents' muscles, blood flow, and joint movements,[36] as well as accurately predict and anticipate their movements and attacks. Through this ability, he was able to identify Muichiro as his descendant,[6] immediately discern that Genya consumed demons to gain strength, as well as determine the strength of Muichiro, Sanemi, and Gyomei, even being able to tell that the latter two's bodies and techniques are at their peak.[37][38] Immense Speed and Reflexes: Kokushibo possesses immense levels of speed far surpassing those of the other upper echelons, as first shown when he cut off Akaza's arm before he, or any of the other demons present, noticed.[42] He displays his phenomenal speed on several occasions throughout the fight. Firstly, he is able to effortlessly outrun Muichiro's Mist Breathing techniques, moving so fast that he appears to teleport.[43] Muichiro even commented that Kokushibo's speed was on another dimension compared to his own, despite his abilities being amplified by his Demon Slayer Mark.[44] When Genya fires his shotgun at the upper echelons from a distance, Kokushibo manages to suddenly appear behind him before the projectiles could reach where he initially was, before cutting off his arm the moment he arrived.[45] He then cuts off his other arm and torso so fast that his arm doesn't even seem to move. [46]

In his confrontation with Sanemi, Kokushibo could easily keep up with the Wind Hashira's techniques and movements, despite Sanemi trying his best to stay alive.[47] When he uses his brother's shotgun to shoot the Upper Rank, Kokushibo is fast enough to block the projectiles even when fired at point-blank range.[48] After feeling the need to put in more effort, Kokushibo overwhelms the Wind Hashira with a single technique that he was unable to avoid in time, delivering multiple slashes and blows all over his body.[16] Even against Gyomei, the strongest Hashira of the Taisho era, Kokushibo is still more than capable of keeping up with his highly unorthodox fighting style.[49] Even after both Hashira became Marked, an enraged Kokushibo could unleash attacks that even they could not fully react to,[26] and he easily outclassed them throughout the battle. His imperceptible speed posed such a threat to his opponents that Muichiro had to sacrifice a leg to stop the Upper Rank from moving so Genya could completely immobilize him with his Blood Demon Art.[18][19] After the transformation, Kokushibo is able to move so fast that he appears as a blur to Marked Gyomei and Sanemi when they try to finish him off. Unlimited Stamina and Endurance: Like all Demons, Kokushibo possesses infinite stamina and vitality, never tiring and always remaining in peak physical and mental condition at all times, as well as being able to withstand waves of attacks as if it were nothing. Despite having his limbs and entire pieces of his body repeatedly torn off and destroyed, he never showed a sign of pain or agony.[52][53] Even when his head was being crushed by Gyomei Himejima's spiked iron ball, he remained steadfast.[54]

Supernatural abilities Extrasensory Perception: Kokushibo possesses enhanced sensory abilities that allow him to detect the presence of others outside of his normal range of perception, as shown when he dodged Genya's gunfire and appeared directly behind him despite Kokushibo looking in the opposite direction.[55] Kokushibo also appears to be able to track the location of his peers around the Infinity Castle, evident from how he no longer sensed Akaza's presence when he died.[56] Menacing Aura: Kokushibo possesses a menacing and overwhelming presence that frightened even Akaza, the holder of Upper Level Three and an extremely vengeful and aggressive demon, into silence and temporarily caused Muichiro Tokito, a Hashira who faced and defeated an Upper Level on his own, to lose the will to fight, causing his body to tremble uncontrollably. [57][58]

Master Swordsman: Due to training and refining his swordsmanship skills for nearly 500 years and receiving a great boost to his physical capabilities, Kokushibo has become one of the most powerful and skilled swordsmen to ever exist. As a Demon Slayer in the Golden Age of Demon Slayers, his swordsmanship was already excellent, as he learned many of his techniques from Yoriichi himself. According to himself, his techniques were so refined and legendary that they have no hope of being passed down to future generations. [59] Kokushibo's skill with his sword allowed him to defeat Akaza, a prodigious hand-to-hand combatant and martial artist.[60][42] With his exceptional swordsmanship, he could single-handedly hold his own against three Hashiras, Sanemi, Muichiro, and Gyomei, when they were Branded, as well as Genya, when he assimilated their blood to gain a small portion of their power and develop his own Blood Demon Art. Kokushibo's swordsmanship is further strengthened with the development of his own Blood Demon Art, which greatly improves the lethality and power of his techniques, making each of his sword strikes incredibly deadly.[61] Breathing style Moon Breathing (月つきの呼こ吸きゅう, Tsuki no kokyū?): Kokushibo is the first demon to utilize Breathing Styles.[44][62] His Breathing Style in particular is one of the most dangerous and powerful displayed thus far. Enhanced with his Blood Demon Art, he can create many chaotic crescent moon blades when slashing that vary in length and size in crescent-shaped sword attacks.[63] Kokushibo continued to develop this Breathing Style and created over a dozen techniques over the centuries he lived.[23]

Crescent Moon Blades: Complementing his Moon Breathing, Kokushibo's Blood Demon Art allows him to create and manipulate dozens of sharp blades shaped like traditional crescent moons from his flesh katana.[61] They are implied to have been created from his blood and can be either bright yellow or bright blue in color.[64][65] These crescent moon blades are innately chaotic, constantly changing in size, direction, and speed, making Kokushibo's attacks extremely unpredictable and unreadable as they have no set pattern.[66] This Blood Demon Art greatly increases the power of his techniques, making each of his sword strikes extremely deadly and dangerous. He also appears to be able to use his Blood Demon Art while his katana is unsheathed, allowing him to create crescent moon blades even without swinging his sword or unleashing a technique. [67] The volatile nature of his Blood Demon Art makes it extremely challenging for Demon Slayers to circumvent; Sanemi stated that if it were not for his years of experience in the field of demon hunting, he would not have been able to defend himself from Kokushibo's attacks.[66]

Kokushibo's Blood Demon Art appears to have a secondary ability that allows him to manipulate the shape and range of his sword strikes by unleashing his Moon Breathing techniques. His strikes often create and are surrounded by a red or orange crescent shape that charges his crescent moon blades.[61] Kokushibo appears to be able to control these strikes to some extent, increasing their range and shape to strike his target in ways impossible under normal circumstances. When he distorted his katana into its twig-like appearance, his strikes turned a light purple color. Kokushibo has demonstrated the ability to exponentially increase the range of his sword strike with his Moon-Dragon Ringtail technique[68] and shape his strikes into a circular, drill-like shape with his Drilling Slashes, Moon Through Bamboo Leaves technique.[69]

First Form: Dark Moon, Night Palace (壱eノ型かた闇やみ月...e・宵よいの宮みや, Ichi no kata: Yamidzuki - Yoi no Miya ?) [70] - Kokushibo draws his katana and performs a singular horizontal slash following a crescent shape, creating numerous chaotic crescent blades along its path, before sheathing it back into its scabbard. This technique is highly reminiscent of Iaijutsu. Second Form: Pearl Flower Moon Gazing (弐にの型かた珠e華かノ弄ろう月げつ, Ni no kata: Shuka no Rōgetsu ?) [71] - Kokushibo performs three crescent-shaped slashes while releasing a multitude of crescent-moon blades along with them. Third Form: Disgusting Moon, Chains (参さんノ型かた 厭えん忌き月...e・銷つがり, San no kata: Enkidzuki - Tsugari ? ) [72] - Kokushibo performs two extremely large crescent-shaped slashes directly in front of him, from which a storm of smaller crescent-shaped blades is released.

Fifth Form: Moon Spirit Calamitous Eddy (伍ごノ型かた 月げっ魄.....災e渦か, Go no kata: Geppaku Saika ? ) [73] - Kokushibo creates several long, curved slashes layered on top of each other, essentially creating a vortex of crescent moon blades. As stated by Sanemi Shinazugawa, this technique was performed without Kokushibo swinging his katana. Sixth Form: Perpetual Night, Lonely Moon - Unceasing (陸ろくノ型かた 常とこ夜よ孤こ月げつ・無...間けん, Roku no kata: Tokoyo Kogetsu - Muken ? ) [74] - Kokushibo rapidly performs a multitude of curved slashes several meters in front of him that release a wild barrage of crescent moon blades capable of cutting through the surroundings. Seventh Form: Moonlit Mirror of Misfortune (漆eノ型かた 厄やっ鏡きょう・月...enãoeえ, Shichi no kata: Yakkyō - Dzukibae ?) [75] - Using his altered katana, Kokushibo performs a crescent-shaped frontal slash that releases several straight and curved slashes that expand outwards.

Eighth Form: Moon-Dragon Tail Ring (no.....ノ型かた 月げつ龍りゆう輪りん尾e, Hachi no kata: Getsuryū Rinbi ?) [68] - Using his altered katana, Kokushibo performs a massive, long-range, curved slash that leaves dozens of crescent moon blades along its path. Ninth Form: Waning Moonswaths (玖...ノ型かた降.....り月...e・連れん面めん, Ku no kata: Kudaridzuki - Renmen ?) [76] - Using his altered katana, Kokushibo performs several curved slashes, all close together, that leave numerous crescent moon blades along their path. Tenth Form: Piercing Cuts, Moon Through Bamboo Leaves (拾じゅうノ型かた 穿せん面めんnoざん・蘿ら月げつ, Jū no kata: Senmenzan - Ragetsu ? ) [69] - Using his altered katana, Kokushibo creates three spinning circular saw-like slashes with crescent-shaped blades following their path.

Flesh Katana: [1] As a former Demon Slayer and Breathing Style user, Kokushibo wields a twisted version of a Nichirin katana.[78] Created from his own flesh and blood, his body's immense durability and hardness allows it to be just as sharp, if not sharper, than a normal Nichirin weapon made from Scarlet Crimson Iron Sand (猩しょう猩じょう緋ひ砂さ鐵......, Shōjōhi Satetsu? ) and Scarlet Ore (猩しょう猩じょう緋ひ鑛こう石せき, Shōjōhi Kōseki? ). His blade is blood-red, with a veined appearance, and several eyes cover the blade and tsuka. However, it is unknown if these eyes can be used to extend his vision. His katana's tsuba is circular with four slight indentations, a center with three eyes and several black veins, and a golden rim. He carries it inside a saya at his waist that shares a similar fleshy appearance. According to the second databook, Kokushibo named his weapon Kyokokukamusari (きょ哭こく神かむ去さり, Kyokokukamusari?, lit. "Hollow Cry of the Wicked").[1]

Standard Nichirin Katana: When Kokushibo was a Demon Slayer, he carried a traditional Nichirin katana that was light purple in color and had a tsuba that was rectangular with four angular indentations, a black center, and a golden edge. Along with it, he also carried a standard sword sheath that was black in color.
