As a skilled gambler, Celestia Ludenberg is collected, cold, and cunning. She has the ability to manipulate others and lie with a straight face. She appears to be quite intelligent, such as referencing several aspects of game theory (the Prisoner's Dilemma and the Zero Dice Game), and her manipulation and coercion skills are shown in Chapter 3, where she deceives most of the students, including Byakuya, all the way to the Class Trial.

In reality, it turns out that she was lying and when she was found guilty, she openly stated that she couldn't stand life in that school, saying that she was the one "who wanted to choose the most out of all 16 people". Celestia speaks softly and smiles often, but sometimes in a way that scares others.
