Biography After escaping the first Life Foundation spaceship, Riot goes through multiple hosts before arriving in San Francisco and bonding with Carlton Drake (played by Riz Ahmed) in an attempt to bring more symbiotes to Earth. Meanwhile, the fourth symbiote, Riot, makes his way from Malaysia to San Francisco by body-hopping until he finds and joins Drake, who agrees to use the Life Foundation's space probe to allow Riot to bring the rest of the symbiotes to Earth. Weying teams up with Venom and they rescue Brock from being executed. When Brock and Venom reunite, the latter declares that he has been convinced to help protect Earth from his kind through his interactions with Brock, as in his own words, on his homeworld Venom is a nobody. The pair quickly attempt to stop Riot and Drake with Weying's help, starting a brutal and evenly matched fight despite Riot being of a superior and more powerful bloodline; after mortally wounding Brock while separated from Venom, Riot and Drake board the ship, but Venom manages to damage the fuel tank causing it to explode and kill Riot and Drake. Venom later sacrifices himself by transforming into a parachute to protect Brock from the fall and explosion, even though it means he will be incinerated by the flames. Riot then escapes to the Life Foundation's second rocket, but Venom damages it, killing Riot and Drake.

Personality Riot represents the worst side of the Symbiotics; an intensely sadistic maniac who seems to take no pleasure in anything other than destroying and killing everything in sight, for no reason at all. This is different from the protagonist Venom who, while vicious and not hesitant to murder people, still has standards and often doesn't hurt innocents, preferring to kill bad people after his interaction with Eddie Brock, making him more of an anti-hero/anti-villain. They also have different relationships with their hosts: Venom grows to genuinely care for Eddie and ultimately bonds with him, while Riot often switches between hosts and couldn't care less about Drake. Much like Drake, Riot hates humanity and seeks to bring the symbiotes to Earth, though unlike Drake, who does so because he wants to evolve humanity in his own empathy-free way, Riot seems to do so solely out of his own bigotry against them. Despite working together, they have quite different personalities: Drake is a cold, calculating, sophisticated, and pragmatic genius whose corporate status is important for his publicity, occasionally forcing the man to put up a nice facade and act for publicity, while Riot is an unbridled brute who has no taste for pragmatism and is solely interested in immediate consequences. However, the immediate consequence would catch up with him when Venom punctured his rocket's fuel tanks, causing his death.

Powers and AbilitiesVenom declares Riot to be the strongest and most brutal Symbiote. Through Venom, he had humiliated weaker Symbiotes, including Venom himself in combat. Carlton Drake, on the other hand, lacked any superhuman abilities of his own, but proved to be a match for Riot and the dynamic between the duo gives birth to a chaotic and unpredictable killing machine.

Symbiotic Possession/Enhancement: Being a symbiote, Riot can possess living beings upon physical contact with them, passing into their flesh as intangible and taking full control of their bodies. Once inside the host, Riot can enhance their physical abilities to inhuman levels, allowing them to overpower other humans with ease and heal from severe injuries such as broken bones and damaged tissue in seconds. Riot has shown that he can suppress his host's mind to completely control their bodies if they reject him. If they accept him, both he and they can nearly merge minds with them and work collectively with them while sharing the same body which was demonstrated through teamwork with Drake. The abilities he can use while bonded with a host, as well as how well his host exploits them to their advantage, are boosted by the compatibility with each other. Superhuman Strength: Riot can enhance his host's strength to a superhuman level, to the point where he can break machinery and shatter solid rock with ease. Superhuman Mobility: Riot can enhance his host's speed and agility to a superhuman level, allowing them to move several feet per second and scale buildings, as well as being able to move on all fours with ease. Superhuman Durability: Possessing absolute control over his mass and that of the host he bonded with, Riot can enhance his durability to the point of being immune to bullets and sharp weapons. Regenerative Healing Factor: The Riot Symbiote can heal its host at an accelerated rate, as demonstrated when it healed Corinne Wan's body after her ambulance crashed. Shapeshifting: With complete control over his mass, Riot can form constructs and appendages from his own being, which Drake can exploit in combat. Symbiotic Disguise: Riot has the basic ability to fully emerge from Drake while remaining attached to him,

enveloping its host's body to form its own like a sentient, malleable yet durable suit with eyes, claws, and a mouth with powerful jaws and sharp teeth while increasing its mass, making it a powerful opponent.

Construct Creation: Riot can create various weapons as extensions of his body, including bladed armaments such as swords, knives, spears, axes, claws, and even a spiked wrecking ball. Riot's mastery over his shapeshifting ability allows him to create weapons from within his own being, including blades, flails, darts, spikes, and claws. His mastery over this ability reaches to a point where the constructs are noticeably more solid in shape and can be separated and/or thrown at will. By slamming his hand on any solid surface (ex. dirt and walkway), he can create a trail of spikes that will ram into the desired target. In fact, Venom is skeptical of the possibility and Eddie of winning the fight against Riot. Biological Assimilation: During the final fight between Venom and Riot, Riot momentarily absorbs both Venom and Eddie into his body, making him appear larger, though both managed to break out after Anne Weying used a high-pitch frequency from a PA system to weaken the Symbiotes. Additionally, Riot demonstrated the ability to separate other Symbiotes from their hosts through physical contact, as he was able to rip Venom from Eddie's body for a short time. Leadership Skills: Riot was a natural leader among the symbiotes and a very good one at that, being the leader of a pack of four symbiotes who planned to take over Earth. Even Venom begrudgingly acknowledged this when he commented on him being the team leader of his group.

Weaknesses Sonic Vibrations: As powerful as the symbiote is, exposure to extremely loud noise and even intense sonic vibrations drives the alien insane. Intense Heat: In addition to the intense noise that causes the alien to go crazy, Riot can also be injured by exposure to intense heat, such as lasers, fire, etc.

He only follows orders from his symbiote race and is the only superior in his species.
