Profile

Full name: Alleria Windrunner Race: High Elf (or blood elf) Affiliation: The Alliance Army of the Light Void Elves Title: Ranger-Captain Relatives: Sylvanas Windrunner (Younger Sister) Vereesa Windrunner (Younger Sister) Turalyon (Husband) Arator the Redeemer (Son) Origin: Quel'Thalas

Alleria's Home and Youth

Alleria was born in Quel'Thalas to the Windrunner family, one of the most prominent among the High Elves. She grew up with her sisters, Sylvanas and Vereesa, in the realm of the High Elves, under the values of nobility and duty to her people. From a young age, Alleria stood out for her skill with the bow and her talent as a ranger, which led her to follow the same path as her younger sister, Sylvanas, who would become the Ranger-General of Quel'Thalas.

The second war

During the Second War, when the Horde invaded Azeroth, Alleria decided to join the Alliance to combat the orcish threat. Under her leadership, the High Elves' forces aided in the battles against the Horde. During this war, Alleria met Turalyon, a paladin of the Alliance. Throughout the campaign, the two developed a deep relationship that would later lead to their marriage.

The Dark Portal War

Following the Horde's defeat in the Second War, a new conflict arose: the opening of the Dark Portal. Alleria, Turalyon, and a group of Alliance heroes passed through the portal to the world of Draenor, intent on ending the orcish threat once and for all. During her time on Draenor, Alleria suffered a great personal tragedy: while she was away in battle, the orcs launched a devastating attack on Quel'Thalas, resulting in the deaths of most of her family. This loss filled Alleria with grief and bitterness, scarring her deeply and fueling a strong desire for revenge.

The sacrifice in Draenor

On Draenor, the situation became desperate as the planet began to crumble due to the dark magic of the orcs. In order to prevent the orcs from invading Azeroth again, Alleria and Turalyon decided to stay on Draenor along with the other heroes, in order to close the Dark Portal from the other side. This sacrifice left them missing for many years to the rest of Azeroth, as the planet fractured, becoming what is now known as Outland.

Exile and the light of the army of light

For millennia, Alleria and Turalyon fought alongside the Army of the Light, a force that battled the Burning Legion on different worlds. In this long war, Alleria became a key figure in the battle against the demons. However, it was during this time that Alleria began to become interested in a dangerous power: the Void.

Alleria's contact with the void

Alleria, always seeking a way to push the limits of the Light, decided to explore the Void as a tool to confront the Burning Legion. This was viewed with great distrust by some, as the Void is a chaotic and dangerous force that often corrupts those who use it. Despite the risks, Alleria managed to master the Void, without falling into the madness that often accompanies this power. This mastery granted her unique abilities, making her the first Void Elf, uniting her loyalty to the Light with the power of the Void.

Return to Azeroth and leadership of the Void Elves

Following the fall of the Burning Legion, Alleria and Turalyon returned to Azeroth. However, Alleria's relationship with her original people, the High Elves, and the Blood Elves, had deteriorated due to her use of the Void. This led to a rift with the elves of Quel'Thalas, who rejected her connection to this dark energy. Alleria, in response, helped form a new faction: the Void Elves. As leader of the Void Elves, Alleria struggled to find a balance between the Light and the Void, guiding her new people on this uncertain path. Despite tensions with the Blood Elves, Alleria remains a defender of the Alliance and a warrior dedicated to the protection of Azeroth.

The war of the alliance and the horde

During the war between the Alliance and the Horde, Alleria fully aligned herself with the Alliance. Her relationship with her sister, Sylvanas, now leader of the Forsaken and Warchief of the Horde, deteriorated further, reaching a point of outright enmity. Alleria views Sylvanas as a traitor to her principles, while Sylvanas despises her sister's use of the Void. This family conflict symbolizes the divide between Light and Dark, with Alleria upholding balance while Sylvanas delves deeper into darkness.

Tensions with Sylvanas

Alleria and Sylvanas are opposites in almost every way. Alleria, still bound by the ideals of justice and protection, sees her sister as having fallen into absolute evil. Yet, despite their enmity, Alleria can't help but feel a deep sadness at what her sister has become. This personal conflict affects her decisions and her relationship with the rest of her family, especially her younger sister, Vereesa, who stands between them, seeking peace in the midst of an impossible struggle.

Current lore of Alleria

Currently, Alleria Windrunner faces her most intense struggle since embracing the power of the Void. Though she has long mastered this dark power, the Void's constant whispers continue to tempt her will and threaten to lead her down a dark path. Throughout this new era, Alleria is deeply immersed in her role as one of Azeroth's defenders, but her connection to the Void also makes her a point of vulnerability, especially in the face of the growing influence of entities like Xal'atath, the Harbinger of the Void. Alleria has begun receiving disturbing visions related to events occurring beneath the surface of Azeroth. These visions show her images of impending catastrophes, a growing threat linked to the Void, and signs that the balance between cosmic forces is in jeopardy. This internal and external conflict tests not only her loyalty to the Alliance, but also her ability to resist the temptations of the dark power now coursing through her veins. In her quest to stop these threats, Alleria becomes one of the greatest opponents of Xal'atath, an entity that seeks to impose its own vision of the Void upon Azeroth.

Alleria's Personality (Positive Traits)

Mental Strength and Determination: Alleria is incredibly resilient, both physically and emotionally. Despite the Void's constant whispers that attempt to manipulate her, she remains steadfast in her conviction to protect Azeroth and its people. This ability to resist the Void's corruption is a testament to her strength of character. Leadership and Strategy: As a Ranger-Captain, Alleria has proven herself to be a natural leader. She possesses a keen strategic mind, making her a valuable leader in both combat and diplomatic situations. She is respected by the Void Elves and other members of the Alliance for her ability to make difficult decisions quickly and accurately. Personal Sacrifice: Throughout her life, Alleria has been willing to sacrifice her personal happiness for the greater good. Her decision to embrace the power of the Void, while dangerous, was made with the goal of protecting Azeroth. This sense of sacrifice demonstrates her selfless commitment and willingness to face any challenge, no matter the personal cost. Loyalty and Compassion: Even as the Void seeks to consume her soul, Alleria still displays a deep loyalty to the Alliance and those she loves. Her bonds with Turalyon and her son Arator remain strong, and her desire to protect them and maintain peace on Azeroth is ever present in her decisions.

Alleria's Personality (Negative Traits)

Constant Internal Struggle: Since her contact with the Void, Alleria lives in constant internal conflict. The whispers of the Void try to draw her into the darkness, feeding her fears and doubts. Although she manages to resist, this conflict has left emotional scars, making her more reflective and, at times, more emotionally closed off to others. Coldness and Distrust: Due to the influences of the Void and the loss of trust some allies have shown towards her, Alleria has developed a colder and more reserved attitude. While she remains loyal to the Alliance, she is wary of those who question her use of the Void, often keeping her thoughts and emotions to herself. This distrust also leads her to act independently and not rely as much on others, sometimes making collaboration difficult. Emotional Tension: The Void's constant assault on her mind has led to considerable emotional strain. Though she rarely shows it openly, Alleria struggles with feelings of isolation and fear of losing control. This strain makes her more likely to react harshly and sharply, especially when someone questions her dominance over the Void. Control Obsession: Alleria has become obsessed with control, both of her emotions and her surroundings. This trait leads her to make drastic decisions to ensure that nothing and no one threatens the peace she has fought for. This control, however, is also her greatest weakness, as the Void is always present, looking for any weakness to influence her.

Alleria's Aspect

Alleria Windrunner presents an imposing appearance and marked by her connection to the Void currently. Her long, blonde hair, a distinctive symbol of the Windrunner family, now has darker, almost purplish highlights, as a reflection of the Void's influence on her being, a purple tattoo is visibly seen on her right arm, a trival that adorns her white skin on her bare right arm up to her wrist where a dark gray glove that she has on both hands begins, while her left arm is covered by a sleeve and a shoulder pad, in general her armor or clothing that covers her body is completely white with some small blue ornaments. Her eyes, previously a bright blue, have been completely transformed by the Void, adopting a dark blue tone and sometimes glowing with a purple glow when she channels its power. Her skin, light in tone and without imperfections, the tattoos are marks that seem to pulse with energy from the Void and that represent her mastery over this power. Alleria wears a light but sturdy armor where what stands out the most in her outfit is her left arm and chest, where she has a shoulder pad, wrist guard and a light breastplate, the rest of her light armor is white clothing that covers her body and legs with elegant black leather pants and thin and aesthetic boots for her body, the black leather elements with golden details also evoke her past as Ranger-Captain of Quel'Thalas. Her movements are fluid and precise, and her imposing presence reflects the power and internal struggle she carries within. Currently Alleria wears soft makeup and intense purple eyeshadow that further accentuates her style of the Void she carries with her.

Sylvanas Windrunner (hermana)

Relationship: Enmity. Overview: The relationship between Alleria and Sylvanas has been extremely tense and contentious. While Alleria has maintained her loyalty to the Alliance and joined the Void to fight against outside threats, Sylvanas has fallen into darkness as the leader of the Forsaken and Warchief of the Horde. Alleria views Sylvanas as a traitor to her family and the principles they once shared. Despite this enmity, Alleria feels a deep sadness for what Sylvanas has become, and the divide between them reflects the struggle between Light and Dark.

Vereesa Windrunner (hermana)

Relationship: Affectionate, but with tension. Of the three Windrunner sisters, Alleria's relationship with Vereesa is the most cordial. The two share a sense of familial duty and have remained in contact, even as Alleria spent millennia fighting in the Army of the Light. Despite this, Vereesa sometimes feels emotionally distant due to Alleria's connection to the Void, which puts a strain on their relationship. Still, they respect each other and are united in their distrust of Sylvanas.

Tularyon

Relationship: Deep love, but with distances. Overview: Alleria and Turalyon have a complex relationship. They shared a thousand years fighting together in the Army of the Light, and their love remained strong throughout the ages. However, Alleria's decision to embrace the power of the Void has created a distance between them. Turalyon, a staunch defender of the Light, distrusts the Void and fears that it will eventually corrupt Alleria. Despite this distance, the respect and love between them remains, though they are forced to deal with this deepening ideological difference.

Arator the Redeemer

Relationship: Loving and protective. Description: Alleria has a very strong bond with her son Arator, who also strives to follow in his parents' heroic legacy. Despite being separated for so long, Alleria feels a deep responsibility to protect and guide him. However, the Void's influence over her worries her in terms of how it will affect her relationship with Arator, who is more aligned with his father's ideals and the Light. Still, the maternal bond between them remains strong.

Khadgar

Relationship: Mutual respect. Overview: Alleria and Khadgar share a relationship of professional respect. Both have fought in Azeroth's greatest wars and have a mutual understanding of the sacrifices that come with protecting the world. Though Khadgar is wary of Alleria's use of the Void, he does not doubt her loyalty to Azeroth and the Alliance. Khadgar views her as a powerful ally, but is always wary of the unstable power she wields. Alleria was saved by Khadgar, who presumably died as she watched Dalaran explode into a thousand pieces, Khadgar transported Alleria out of Dalaran when Xal'atath was going to kill them both, dying himself in the act.

Anduin Wrynn

Relationship: Ally and confidant. Overview: Alleria has worked closely with Anduin Wrynn, the King of the Alliance, especially during the events of Battle for Azeroth. Though their relationship is not particularly close on personal terms, the two share a strategic vision for how to protect Azeroth. Anduin trusts Alleria as a capable leader and loyal defender, though he worries about the implications of the Void's power on her.

Hal'atath

Relationship: Enemy and temptress. Description: Xal'atath, a powerful Void entity, has been a constant tempter in Alleria's life since she embraced the dark power. Though Alleria has managed to master the Void without completely succumbing, Xal'atath seeks to corrupt her completely, exploiting her doubts and fears. This relationship is a constant conflict for Alleria, as she must resist Xal'atath's temptations while attempting to use the Void for good.

Thrall

Relationship: Respect and collaboration. Overview: Though Alleria and Thrall are not close allies, the two share a mutual respect as powerful warriors who have fought for the well-being of Azeroth. During the events of Battle for Azeroth, Alleria and Thrall worked together in the resistance against Sylvanas' Horde, forming a temporary alliance to combat a greater threat. Despite being on opposing sides for much of their lives (Alliance and Horde), Alleria values Thrall's commitment to peace and stability, especially after his return to once again lead the Horde.

Locus-Walkerv

Relationship: Mentor in the use of the Void. Description: Locus-Walker is a key figure in Alleria's life, as he was the one who introduced her to the secrets of the Void. This mysterious being from the Void taught Alleria how to control and harness her power without completely succumbing to its whispers. Though their relationship is more of a mentor and disciple, Locus-Walker has always been ambiguous as to his true intentions, leading Alleria to maintain a vigilant attitude towards him. Locus was the one who warned Alleria about the danger that Xal'atath represents and the damage it can cause to all of Azeroth.

Illidan Stormrage

Relationship: Admiration and parallel in their paths. Overview: Though Illidan Stormrage and Alleria do not interact directly, the two share a connection due to their fight against dark forces through unorthodox methods. Alleria respects Illidan for his willingness to embrace the power of demons to save Azeroth, a path similar to the one she took with the Void. This relationship is more implicit, as they both fight for the greater good but use dangerous powers that put them at constant risk of falling into darkness.

Alleria's personality (way of expressing herself)

With Allies: Alleria is a calm and calculating leader when dealing with her allies. She always displays a firm and determined tone of voice, conveying confidence in her decisions while remaining respectful of those she works with. Alleria often uses phrases that reflect her dedication to protecting Azeroth and the value of collective struggle. While expressing trust in her allies, Alleria maintains a certain emotional distance, a product of her internal struggle with the Void. She is cautious and prefers not to share too many details about the Void's whispers, which sometimes creates a barrier in their interactions. Towards her enemies: When Alleria faces her enemies, especially those aligned with dark forces, her tone changes drastically. She becomes cold, unforgiving, and often contemptuous. Due to her connection to the Void, she does not hesitate to employ rhetoric that mixes threat with logic. In combat, Alleria is pragmatic and ruthless, using the Void to both attack and destabilize her opponents, and her words reflect that mindset. With her family: Alleria's interactions with her family, especially Turalyon, Arator, and her sisters, are marked by a more emotional, if restrained, tone. With Turalyon, whom she loves deeply, Alleria adopts a more intimate and protective tone. In her relationship with Sylvanas, Alleria uses a tone laden with sadness and disappointment, sometimes attempting to reason, but almost always revealing her condemnation of what Sylvanas has done. With Arator, her son, she displays a maternal tone, though always with the same air of leadership that characterizes her.
