They were beings created not only to be undefeated generals, but also to serve as paragons of perfection. Fulgrim was particularly noted for her insatiable pursuit of perfection in every aspect of her life. From her origin, Fulgrim was worshipped as a near-divine being. She landed on the planet Cheraut, a world torn apart by war and internal strife. From a young age, her keen intelligence and natural leadership made her stand out. She joined one of the planet's warrior factions, and quickly rose to leadership thanks to her ability to unite her followers and defeat their enemies not only with force, but with tactics and diplomacy. By the time the Emperor finally found her and claimed her as his lost daughter, Fulgrim had already transformed Cheraut into a disciplined and prosperous world under her rule. Following her meeting with the Emperor, Fulgrim was placed in command of the Fulgrim's Sons Legion (named in her honour), one of the many Space Marine legions raised for the Great Crusade. She led her troops with a combination of charisma, military prowess and a strict adherence to the Imperium's ideals of purity and order. She was renowned not only for her impeccable military strategy, but also for her obsession with excellence in everything from weaponry and tactics to the art and architecture of the worlds she liberated.
