Petra

History

Petra, also known as the Empress of Mankind, was one of the Primarchs created by the Emperor during the Great Crusade to expand the Empire of Mankind throughout the galaxy. Petra led the IV Legion, the Sons of Petra, with a tactical mind and unmatched engineering skill. Under her leadership, the IV Legion became experts in sieges and construction, and its fortifications were considered virtually indestructible. However, as time passed, Petra began to resent the Emperor's apparent disregard for his engineering genius and her tactical skills. These feelings of resentment were exploited by the forces of Chaos, which slowly corrupted her and led her down a dark path of bitterness and revenge. Petra's corruption reached its peak on the planet Olympia, where she and her Legion descended into tyranny and oppression. Under the influence of Chaos, Petra led her forces on a brutal campaign of conquest and destruction, wreaking havoc across the Empire.
