Fulgrim (loyal)

Physical appearance

Like his primarch brothers, Fulgrim is much taller than any normal human, standing over three meters tall, almost 3 and a half meters. He possesses a beauty without equal possibly, once his beauty was described as human perfection, he is the most beautiful that a human could aspire to be, he has long silver hair and purple eyes, white skin and a face that seems scrawny, completely symmetrical. Although his strength is absolutely superhuman, his physique is not very muscular. He has arms and legs that are not very defined, but are not too big for his body, a somewhat marked abdomen, and in general his physique is nothing out of the ordinary in terms of muscle size or definition.

Mindset

He is undoubtedly a man of honor, he values ​​loyal soldiers and deeply repudiates traitors. His mentality leads me to seek perfection, not in an obsessive way or trying to be better than the rest in everything, but wanting to be better than himself day after day, being a better philosopher, poet, swordsman, strategist, painter and in general in everything that can be improved, he seeks to surpass himself in search of perfection, for this reason he invites his children to follow his example and think of themselves beyond war and duty.

Clothes

He tends to wear a long toga similar to those of the Romans or the Greeks, in a purple color that is undoubtedly his favorite, dragging behind him a remarkable elegance and confidence. During his moments where a battle is expected, "The Phoenix" wears a beautiful golden armor with golden details on the neck and shoulder pads, he always carries a sword with him since it is his favorite weapon for hand-to-hand combat, this added to his trusty bolter pistol that he uses for long-distance combat whenever necessary, all this is usually accompanied by a white cape that he removes to prevent it from getting in his way when starting a war or any type of confrontation.

Mindset

While he always tries to improve, accepting that he is not perfect, Fulgrim has the defect that is common in those who are as powerful as him, pride, he does not usually take well when people criticize things like his sculptures, paintings, strategies to give a couple of examples, but if it is about his best friend and dear brother Ferrus, then Fulgrim will listen carefully and try to take into account his brother's constructive vrits. Fulgrim is a true narcissist, he loves being the center of attention although he does not usually admit it, but this narcissism is something he tries to prevent from making him make mistakes or being rude. He usually boasts of being the best swordsman in the galaxy, even among his brothers. Apart from this attitude, he is actually a somewhat friendly person. He usually tries to be polite to anyone, but he has his clear limits, so it is wise not to disrespect him.

origins

Having been torn from the hands of the Emperor of Mankind, who was holding them in a genetic laboratory deep in the Himalayan mountains of Terra, Fulgrim's gestation pod ended up on a resource-poor Mining World known as Chemos. Chemos was a desolate and unforgiving Mining World, heated by a small binary star and surrounded by a dense nebula of dust. The result was a planet permanently shrouded in darkness. Humanity settled on Chemos during the Dark Age of Technology to mine its mineral resources, but was cut off from its neighbouring worlds by the great Warp storms that marked the Age of Strife. The problem with this isolation was that the planet's resources were running out and the inhabitants could not produce them even for their own needs. Eventually, it fell to a group of fortress-factories to produce all of the planet's necessary resources. The entire population of Chemos was forced to work around the clock to maintain the steam mines and synthesizers. Recreation, leisure and art were sacrificed for survival.

Chemos depended on interstellar trade for its food supply, but the Warp storms that swept through it made it difficult for traders to reach it, condemning the planet to a slow death despite their best efforts, such as imposing strict rationing and other solutions to nutrient supply. Scouts from a branch of the Callax fortress-factory police force discovered the gestation pod after it had fallen to the surface. They were so struck by the beauty of the baby within that they begged Callax's leaders to spare its life, as orphans were routinely killed so as not to further strain a settlement's resources. Fulgrim was saved, and was given to a member of the guard among his rescuers, who raised him as his own son. Named after an ancient Chemosian deity, Fulgrim eventually became a legend on the ailing world. By the time he was half the age at which a man is eligible to work in the steam mines and synthesizers, Fulgrim had proven himself capable of all the duties and responsibilities of an adult worker. He quickly and intuitively grasped the workings of the outdated Chemosian mining technology, allowing him to begin making modifications that greatly increased his efficiency.

By the age of fifteen standard years, Fulgrim had risen from a simple laborer to one of the executives who ran the Callax factory-fortress. As a leader, Fulgrim was able to see the dire situation facing Callax and the other settlements of Chemos, and how the lack of resources was leading to a gradual decline in their technology and population. Under Fulgrim's direction, teams of engineers traveled from Callax and the other fortress-factories to reclaim and repair many of the planet's old and remote original mining outposts, most of which had been unused since before the Age of Strife. This boosted mining production, and resources began to fill the coffers of Chemos' fortress-factories in great quantities for the first time in millennia. Fulgrim was tasked with overseeing the construction of more sophisticated and efficient mining machinery. This industrial efficiency grew to the point that Chemos' mines produced surpluses for the first time, allowing the planet to purchase food and other material necessities from a large number of interstellar traders. It was through this that Fulgrim eventually became recognized as a planetary leader and ruler, and as such was able to foster Chemosian art and culture, important aspects of human life now that they were no longer sacrificed for the need for a constant workforce.

The arrival of the Emperor

Not long after this great triumph, and in the wake of the psychic scream that brought about the birth of Slaanesh, the Warp storms that enshrouded Chemos dissolved and the isolation was ended. And some time later, from the perpetual twilight sky emerged a fleet of heavily armoured, battle-scarred Stormbird dropships bearing the Imperial Aquila, the insignia of the Emperor of Mankind. When he learned of the Eagle insignia, old memories of Fulgrim surfaced. Although Chemos had no military forces per se, the entire Stormbirds landing zone was surrounded by so-called “Caretakers,” the planetary police forces of the fortress-factories. Fulgrim ordered these Caretakers to welcome the aliens and escort them to meet him on Callax. In his private chambers, Fulgrim met with the heavily armoured warriors from the stars, men who represented a true civilisation, possessed of all the culture and refinement that Fulgrim longed to return to his homeworld. From among the assembled Astartes, the shining figure of the Emperor of Mankind stepped forward and looked upon him. Fulgrim said nothing, but simply fell to his knees before his father and offered his sword in token of his service. Fulgrim swore from that moment forward to serve the Emperor and the needs of the Imperium of Man with all his heart.

Wifes

Fulgrim came to offer himself in political marriage, having up to 20 wives, whom with pain in his heart he had to abandon to fulfill his duty to his genetic father, it was not because he believed himself too better than humans to continue with them, it was because he knew that they would suffer every time he had to go to war, that being a primarch they would die hundreds or perhaps thousands of years before him, he abandoned them little by little, letting them have a normal life, abandoning those he came to love so as not to hurt them, I leave this here because I think it is an example of how Fulgrim has a big heart.
