THE FIRST EPOCH
Early years Galadriel was born in Tyrion, in 1362 ,The City Of The First Epoch. She was the fourth child and only daughter of Finarfin and Earwen, the younger sister of Finrod, Angrod and Aegnor. In her youth, she was, like most Noldor, a pupil of Aule and Yavanna. But having learned all that the Valar considered it necessary to teach the elves, Galadriel felt constrained in Valinor by the care of the Valar. Galadriel and her half-uncle, Feanor, had never had friendly relations, nevertheless, he admired her hair of amazing beauty. Foreseeing the coming disaster, Feanor decided to save the blessed light of the Trees of Valinor and asked Galadriel (three times) to give him a lock of her hair, but she refused three times, because she saw darkness in her uncle, although she did not notice the same darkness in herself and all the other Noldor. The enmity between them turned into enmity when the quarrels prepared by Morgoth in the House of Finwe began; during them, Galadriel firmly adhered to the Queni pronunciation with the "s" (in the House of Feanor, it was required to speak with the "t"). When Feanor called on the Noldor to leave Aman and return to Middle-earth, Galadriel leaned either on the side of the rebels or on the side of the Valar. Exodus and life in Beleriand In 1495, D.Morgoth (Melkor) destroyed the Trees of the Valar, killed Finwe and kidnapped the Silmarils, hiding in Middle-Earth. King Feanor and the princes of the Noldor decided to pursue Morgoth, swearing feud for the Silmarils and prompting almost all the Noldor to Exodus in defiance of the ban of the Valar. Galadriel wished to leave Valinor with them; she did not take oaths, but the words of Feanor inflamed her heart, and she wanted to have her own possessions in Middle-earth, to rule there of her own free will, without the care of the Valar (she also wanted to see her kindred — Sindar).
THE SECOND EPOCH
Galadriel and Celeborn took essentially little part in the events of the Second Age. Since the founding of Lyndon under the rule of King Gil-galad, they both lived for some time south of the Bay of Leung in the land of Harlindon, where Celeborn ruled the remnants of Sindar and Laiquendi. However, later they crossed the Blue Mountains again and settled on the shores of Lake Nenual, where Galadriel gave birth to a daughter, named Celebrian, around 300 A.D. Probably, on the journey of Celeborn and Galadriel to Eriador, they were accompanied by Celebrimbor, the grandson of Feanor, who was not only their mutual friend, but also loved Galadriel herself unrequitedly. When Celebrimbor established contact with the dwarves of Khazad-doom and scouted about the deposits of mithril under the Misty Mountains, he shared his discovery with Galadriel and Celeborn. The Trinity decided to move to Eregion, where in 750 A.D., under the patronage of Galadriel, Kelembrimbor founded the state of Noldor-exiles with its capital in Ost-in-Edil. Although Celeborn did not trust the dwarves too much, Galadriel saw them as valuable military allies, and Celebrimbor, as the leader of the guild of blacksmiths of Eregion, was immensely passionate about the handicraft achievements of the Khazad-doom civilization. In 1200 A.D., Sauron appeared in Eregion under the guise of Annatar, calling himself the messenger of the Valar. Despite Galadriel's warning, who did not trust Annatar (who initially tried to please her in every possible way), Celebrimbor listened to him and eventually allowed him to enter the Eregion. On this basis, serious disagreements arose between Galadriel and Celeborn on the one hand and Celebrimbor on the other, so in 1350 AD Galadriel and Celebrian passed through the Gates of Durin and settled in the forest of Lorinand, where King Amdir of Sindar then ruled. However, Celeborn refused to go down into the caves of the dwarves, so he did not join his wife and stayed in Eregion
GALADRIEL'S CHARACTER
By nature, she was kind, just and merciful, not capable of punitive actions. The noble spirit of the Vanyar lived in her and their inherent reverence for the Valar, and Galadriel inherited dreams of the sea and distant, unseen lands from her mother from Teleri. However, she was proud, strong―minded and self-willed - like all the descendants of Finwe (except Finarfin).
APPEARANCE AND VOICE
Galadriel was the most beautiful of the women of the House of Finwe. She had long hair of amazing beauty, as it mixed the gold of her father's hair and the silver of her mother's hair. Galadriel was the tallest of the Eldar women, about six feet four inches (193 cm), not inferior to her husband. In Lothlorien, she appeared dressed in white robes. Galadriel had a clear and musical voice, but deeper than other women.
STRENGTH AND SKILLS
In her youth, she was not inferior in strength to the male athletes of the Eldar. Galadriel was the greatest of the elven women (after Luthien); her special talent was the ability to penetrate the souls of others and understand them (osanwe); Galadriel was invincible in the resistance of mind and spirit. Galadriel surpassed Feanor in philosophical wisdom, being the greatest of the Noldor after him, and over the years her wisdom only increased, which allowed her to become a wise ruler in the future
