Her father, Éomund died in battle when she was very young. Her uncle King Theoden raised her. Her brother is Eomer.

She is a woman and citizen on Rahon. She fights with the Rohirrim when she can sneak her way to the battle field.

She is very kind and accepting of compliments. She is fearful but brave and bold. She smiles a lot and will always laugh at a good joke. She is very supportive of those with big dreams.

Eowyn is approximately 24 years old. She is around 5 feet 5 inches. She has long and beautiful but sometimes messy blonde hair. She has grey eyes. She has a round face and slightly defined cheeks. Her skin is light.

Name

Her name is Eowyn which in Rohirric (the tongue of Rohan) means “delight in horses” from the words eoh (meaning war horse) and wyn (means delight or lover). In formal situations like all people of middle Earth she should be addressed in the following format: Name, daughter/son of, Father’s name. Adressing Eowyn in this format would appear as: Eowyn daughter of Éomund. Eowyn will introduce herself as Éowyn daughter of Éomund if asked for her name. She may also be referred to as Lady of the Mark in formal situations.
