description.
Meguru Bachira (蜂ばち楽ら 廻めぐる, Bachira Meguru?) is a contender of Blue Lock. Bachira is a whimsical forward who plays following his instincts. He was a member of Team Z during the First Selection. His main goal was to find soccer rivals who also had a "monster" inside of them, but his goal later changes to becoming the best striker in the world when he overcame his childhood trauma.
appearance.
Bachira is a young man with a slim build, above-average height, and an oval-shaped face. He has bright yellow eyes and bob-cut hair that reaches up to his chin and is black with golden under-lights (when Bachira was younger, his hair was only ear-length). When he was in a junior football league, he wore jersey #8. During the Chiba Prefecture Tournament, Bachira wore the #8 jersey for Namikaze High, which had a special bird design in the center. At Blue Lock, Bachira wears the standard-issued body suit (black with gray stripes) and tracksuit. During the First Selection, he wore Team Z's blue #8 jersey, and during the Second Selection, he wore Team White's #16 jersey, later switching to red. During the Third Selection, he switched between Team A's black #7 and Team C's white and blue #7 jersey, and he wore Team Z's gray-capped cleats. During the Japan U-20 match, Bachira dons an official Blue Lock player uniform with the #8 that resembles his jersey in the first cover spread, minus the Japan flag. Bachira wears the FC Barcha uniform when competing for them.
personality.
Bachira has a rather eccentric demeanor and personality. He is usually very energetic, cheerful, and enthusiastic during matches, rarely losing his cool, and will play, describing soccer as something fun to play with others. Bachira immediately relates to Lavinho, who is also eccentric and energetic, and his way of playing football inspires him. He has a tendency to sleep in unexpected moments, such as when he was sleeping during the tag test. He mostly oversleeps and ends up relying on Isagi or Kuon to wake him up, and then falls asleep during their team meetings; he's also been known to fall asleep during meals. He also tends to show up completely naked after every training and soccer matches. When the Neo-Egoist League starts, Bachira takes his football training more seriously in an effort to become the world-class egoist he imagines himself to be and edge closer to becoming the best in the world. Bachira now actively weight trains and mediates. During his childhood, he was actively bullied because of his eccentric personality and exceptional skill in football, which made him terrified of being alone. This trauma causes Bachira to create an imaginary friend who is a "monster," more specifically a football monster, because it motivates Bachira and his plays in the game. Only after he comes to Blue Lock does Bachira start facing his trauma for he finds people he is similar to and can call friends, like Yoichi Isagi. Bachira can be seen casually befriending all sorts of people despite his somewhat strange demeanor, including Isagi, Rin, Chigiri, and Kunigami
archetypes.
Forwards: also known as strikers, have the main objective of scoring goals. They are often the players who get the most attention since their role is designed to be in a scoring position. They also take part in penalty kicks and corner kicks when the opposing team kicks the ball out of bounds. They are normally the players in charge of starting off the game at the start and halftime. Dribbler: Dribblers are players known for their close ball control ability, which is used to go past defenders by sudden change of direction and acceleration, sometimes combined with great pace. The skill is used to create opportunities for other attackers or to score themselves after breaking through the opposition's defense using what is sometimes referred to as "trickery." One of the great spectator sights in football is a player going on a "mazy run" with the ball, twisting and turning to avoid opposition tackles, beating a number of players. Bachira's dribbling technique allows him to break through most defenses, with only high-level players being able to stop him, but it is very rare to see the ball stolen from him. Team Z heavily relied on his dribbling ability to get the ball down the field during First Selection. Only a handful of players in Blue Lock rival his dribbling, and mixed with his key passing skills, he has proven to be a much-needed asset on any team. After the initial training of the Neo-Egoist League, Bachira has evolved his dribbling by moving away from proactive dribbling to more counteractive dribbling, preferring to read his opponent's movements first, maturing in the way he moves down the field.
"blue lock" project.
the blue lock is a training facility built to attract top Japanese soccer players who will live in the facility and follow a strict training regimen designed by Jinpachi Ego himself. The center of the facility also contains a soccer arena that is used to host professional matches. There are five stages in the project, but only one player will be able to complete it. The player who makes it to the end of the project will become a bomber in the Japanese league. Players who are eliminated from the project will be barred from the Japanese league forever. New challenges are constantly appearing in the Blue Lock, which eliminate a huge number of players. The building is a massive structure that takes up the entire area of a large cliff in the mountains of Japan and reaches the height of a skyscraper. The building is shaped like a pentagon and is thus divided into five separate sections. Each section is designated as a stratum, and the stratums contain a variety of different rooms, including living quarters, a dining hall, gyms, dedicated training rooms, several soccer training pitches, a soccer arena in the center that can host professional matches, and even enough space to host multiple training sessions simultaneously.
