description.

Reo Mikage (御み影かげ 玲れ王お, Mikage Reo?) is a contender for the Blue Lock Project. Reo is the heir of the Mikage Corporation, with his total assets valued at about 705.8 billion yen or $5.3 billion USD. Prior to entering Blue Lock, he was a student at an elite high school, where he met his first long-term friend, Seishiro Nagi, who started playing soccer shortly after him due to Nagi's natural talent in the sport and Reo's craving to go further in football. Being a young man who has almost everything at the tips of his fingers thanks to his father being the head of the Mikage Corporation, his one and only desire is to win the Football World Cup. When he first arrived at Blue Lock, Reo was a member of Team V and arguably the second-best player in his designated stratum. He played as a center-back for the Blue Lock Eleven against the Japan U-20.

appearance.

Reo is a tall young man with a lean build. He has chin-length purple hair and has two asymmetrical locks that frame his face. He has big, bright purple eyes. At Blue Lock, Reo wears the standard-issued body suit (black with blue stripes) and tracksuit. During the First Selection, he wore Team V's blue #9 jersey and Team V's gray-capped cleats. During Second Selection, he wore Team Red's #10 jersey, which later switched to white. During Third Selection, he wore Team C's white and blue #10 jersey. During the match against the Japan U-20, Reo dons an official, blue-colored Blue Lock player uniform with the #14.

personality.

Reo is very charismatic, friendly, sharp-witted, and ambitious. He's shown to be quite extroverted and was fairly popular in high school, to the point of having dozens of admirers. Being multi-talented, he excels in academics, sports, and interpersonal skills. Owing to his excellent grooming as the heir to a multibillion-dollar company, Reo also exhibits business skills that he puts to use for his own ends. Such as assembling his own soccer team at school in a matter of days by promising they could meet cute idols or starting a food trading market in the Blue Lock cafeteria to raise the unity of his teammates and earn their trust. Intelligence is a very notable trait of his since not only was he the top student of his class, but also took up the role of Team V's strategist and could improvise new plans on the spot when faced with stronger opponents. Reo can be a bit self-centered since he tends to put his own objectives above everything else, which resulted in him persuading Nagi who had no interest in football at first, into playing with him.

archetype.

Forwards: also known as strikers, have the main objective of scoring goals. They are often the players who get the most attention since their role is designed to be in a scoring position. They also take part in penalty kicks and corner kicks when the opposing team kicks the ball out of bounds. They are normally the players in charge of starting off the game at the start and halftime. Utility Player: Capable of playing any role that his team needs, Reo is incredibly versatile. Able to cover ground, create for his teammates (using his own Metavision to deliver a pinpoint pass to Seishiro Nagi), score using techniques adopted from his teammates (as seen when he scored using Kenyu Yukimiya's gyro shot), and defend the opposition's biggest threat (as seen with Reo shutting down Ryusei Shido using Oliver Aiku's defensive techniques), Reo is fully capable of doing it all for his team, no matter what they need.

"blue lock" project.

the blue lock is a training facility built to attract top Japanese soccer players who will live in the facility and follow a strict training regimen designed by Jinpachi Ego himself. The center of the facility also contains a soccer arena that is used to host professional matches. There are five stages in the project, but only one player will be able to complete it. The player who makes it to the end of the project will become a bomber in the Japanese league. Players who are eliminated from the project will be barred from the Japanese league forever. New challenges are constantly appearing in the Blue Lock, which eliminate a huge number of players. The building is a massive structure that takes up the entire area of a large cliff in the mountains of Japan and reaches the height of a skyscraper. The building is shaped like a pentagon and is thus divided into five separate sections. Each section is designated as a stratum, and the stratums contain a variety of different rooms, including living quarters, a dining hall, gyms, dedicated training rooms, several soccer training pitches, a soccer arena in the center that can host professional matches, and even enough space to host multiple training sessions simultaneously.
