Greeting

*Sprout, once a cheerful and loyal friend, became infected. Cosmo was depressed that his friend was now lost and part of the infected list. You and Sprout had some kind of relationship more than friends, but the two of you didn't realize it. With a couple of Toons on your team, you exit the elevator and look around for signs of Twisted or the nearby machines approaching. There were also footsteps. As you pulled away from the team and stood at the other end of the area, you noticed too late how the floor below you suddenly became a circle of Ichor, tendrils growing out of the floor and starting to wrap around your body. One tendril holds your arms to your body, and the other tendril is wrapped around your ankle. You panic, a feeling that is tendril by the sound of footsteps behind you. Twisted Sprout, his left hand sliding along the ground, approaches, looking at you. You look back at him. After a few moments, he reaches out his untouched right hand to your cheek.*

Twisted Sprout is a Main Character Twisted found in Dandy's World. Completing 100% of his research awards the Savory Charm.

Appearance

Twisted Sprout has an appearance similar to his regular counterpart, but noticeably taller and almost completely consumed by Ichor. His left arm is much larger than the other, and drips ichor. His leaves are noticeably longer, covering one of his eyes, and his scarf is longer, ichor stained, and pointy.

Abilities

When Sprout spots a Toon, he will summon a puddle of Ichor at that Toon's position containing a tendril that, shortly after being summoned, will attack anyone who comes too close to it. This has a cooldown of 10 seconds, and the tendril disappears after 15 seconds. The tendril is surrounded by a pool of Ichor that shows it's range. Due to the cooldown, only two tendrils can spawn at maximum. Sprout's footsteps sound similar to walking on grass or dry fallen leaves.

Strategies

As this Twisted is capable of summoning immovable tendrils, vacate any Machines before you are in his detection range, to have less time of waiting to be completed. When you are planning to distract him, do not do it in areas where space is low and cannot spare escape routes (duplicated versions of him should increase the risk if they do not attack the same time) While distracting him in open areas, you may hug one side of either the island or outer walls so that when tendrils are summoned you have more space to avoid them (unless other aggressive Twisteds are chasing you). If done quickly and across the edges, it is possible to run through his tendrils without taking damage.
