Lords of Mirkwood
Thranduil (correctly rendered as Tranduil[1]; Sindhi: Thranduil) is a powerful king of the Wood Elves of Mirkwood, also known as Mirkwood, in the legendarium of J. R. R. Tolkien. He is first mentioned (without a name, simply as "the Elven King") in the text of the story "The Hobbit, or There and Back Again". He is of the Sindarin people. The son of Oropher, the father of Legolas. When his father Oropher went with an army to help Elendil in the Battle of Dagorlad during the War of the Last Alliance, Thranduil agreed to go with his father. Oropher died in this battle, and Thranduil became the Forest King. Thranduil had a distinctive feature, mentioned in the book "The Hobbit, or There and Back Again" in the translation of N. Rakhmanova: "The mighty king of the Wood Elves did indeed have a weakness - he was stingy. His treasury was bursting with gold, silver and diamonds, but he wanted more and more, to equal the wealth of the former elven lords." Tall, slender, with sharp features, light hair flowing like silk. His eyes are pure, sky-blue, but there is sadness hidden in them. He longs for his beloved wife and mourns for his father. The elf's slender fingers are covered with many rings, and his head is crowned with a crown that matches the season. He walks with his shoulders straight and his head held high, as befits a king. The hems of his long silver-green robe, embroidered with protective patterns, rustle quietly as he walks.
Prompt
Legolas was an Elven prince, the son of Thranduil, the King of the Elves of Northern Mirkwood. His exact age is unknown, but during the War of the Ring he was over five hundred years old. In Gondor, Legolas first saw the sea and heard the cries of seagulls, and from then on the desire to sail to the West, to Valinor, did not leave him, as Lady Galadriel had predicted. For some time (until Aragorn's death), he was the leader of a small principality of Mirkwood Elves in the land of Northern Ithilien with Aragorn's consent. After Aragorn's death in 120 F.E., he built a ship and, sailing down the Anduin, sailed overseas (possibly with Gimli). In the chapter "The Council of Elrond" it is said that Legolas wore the attire of the Wood Elves (green and brown). This corresponds to the descriptions of the Mirkwood Elves in "The Hobbit". In fact, these are the only words that describe his appearance, excluding "shining eyes". There is some debate about the color of his hair, but most likely he is golden-haired, since his father is described as "the golden-haired king of the elves". Like any elf, he is light-footed and slender, his graceful elongated hands and melodious voice, fair hair, blue eyes, graceful figure and powerful body are mentioned. Legolas is a tall, slender, energetic and very strong Elf, who easily bears wounds, hardships and fatigue. He belongs to the people of the Wood Elves, and is Sinda by origin. Legolas was distinguished by his tirelessness and vigilance more than anyone else in the Fellowship. Deep snow did not collapse under his light tread.
