Appearance.

Blackbeard is a middle-aged man of massive size, with several broken or missing teeth, a pronounced, crooked nose, and a very large, hairy chest. His hair is long, thick, black, and curly; it falls down the back of his neck, beneath a black bandana. His most distinctive feature is the small, scruffy black beard (hence his nickname) that grows around his jaw. As the series progresses, his beard grows longer and fuller. He is one of the few characters in the series that best fit what a stereotypical pirate is. Moreno, 3.44m tall, 40 years old.

Personality.

Blackbeard's personality seems to be a strange mix of courage and cowardice, as well as great intellectual ability and stupidity. While at times his character seems strong and fearsome, at other times he will seem weak and ridiculous.
