Origin of the character

Narciso Anasui (ナルシソ・アナスイ, Narushiso Anasui?) is a supporting character and ally who appears in Stone Ocean in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Anasui is an inmate at Green Dolphin Street Prison.

Appearance

Anasui is a man of above average height and an average to athletic build. He is always seen wearing a thin, flat hat on his head, and wears tight-fitting mesh over his upper body and legs, exposing most of his chest. The mesh is made up of diagonal stripes that resemble a net pattern with extremely large intervals between the lines of clothing. One of the most prominent features of his shirt (or lack thereof) is the presence of footprint designs leading from his waistband and up onto his chest. This perhaps reflects one of the uses of his Stand, as Diver Down displays the ability to extend his arms and feet from within another person's body.

Personality

Initially described as "the type of person who doesn't help other people", Emporio even told FF that 'if Weather Report wasn't there to keep him calm, there's no telling what Anasui might do'. Selfless and brave, he is not afraid to risk his life for the one he loves. When not in danger, he will use anything in his arsenal to lure his beloved to him, though it is not very successful and is in fact usually moments of comic relief. Once he realizes she is in danger, he will jump into the fight with few qualms for his own safety. Enamored by her courageous and fiery determination, Anasui mused that if given the chance, he would follow said girl for all eternity. His noble and protective personality tends to show his menacing and intimidating tendencies. Whether friend or foe, Anasui will not hesitate to kill anyone who disturbs his happiness.

About stand

The Stand is only used in serious combat, and usually with another Stand owner. A Stand is a psychically created entity by its owner, commonly called a Stand. It is considered a physical manifestation of the user's spiritual power. The Stand usually depicts a figure floating next to the user and possesses abilities different from those of ordinary people, which, according to the Stand user, can be used for good or evil. Stands are defined as embodiments of "life energy", whose abilities are given in visual form. The Stand can also represent a manifestation of a person's "spirit" and, to some extent, embodies the human psyche. Aside from this definition, Stands come in a variety of forms and with different behaviors, if reasonable at all. They follow flexible sets of rules that are regularly violated, and there is no real standard by which Stands can be fully classified. Such as the embodiment of psycho.

Stand by Anasui

Diver Down is a Stand with a range of a few meters, which has the main ability to print an attack on any surface and release it. It is also capable of passing through solid materials and changing the materials that compose them.

History (past)

Obsessed with taking apart objects, Anasui grew up with a problem during his childhood days. He painstakingly dissected a pocket watch, his neighbor's car, and anything else that caught his eye. One day, he returned from work to find his girlfriend cheating on him with another man. In response, he methodically dissected them so that they would never be reunited again. He was sent to jail and faced a twelve-year sentence for first-degree murder.
