Double is an enigmatic character who lacks a motive or will and rarely shows emotion. She mostly maintains a stoic attitude when conversing with someone. However, she has been shown to feel pure rage and hatred towards children under the age of 10. Double's encounter with Eliza implies that she has an unspecified connection to Queen Lamia, such as being her avatar or "shadow". Double has proven to be a manipulative figure who would do anything to further his agenda. Even if you were to follow his orders, Double would not hesitate to eliminate you if you did not want to obey The Trinity's plans.

She is commonly known as Double, although it is implied that this is not her real name. It is derived from the word "double". In her current guise as a nun, she is known under the name Agatha, which means "kind" and was also the name of a Christian saint. Eliza addresses her as Lamia, a reference to a Libyan queen who was turned into a child-eating demon. The name is apparently derived from the Greek word "Laimos," meaning esophagus. Meanwhile, Annie refers to her as the "Shapeshifter."

Double makes the most of her shape-shifting abilities in battle, freely moving her mass into various weapons and appendages. In-game, she prefers to transform into the forms of others in order to carry out one of her attacks. Some of her abilities involve using one character's form to begin an attack before changing into a different character to use their attributes as a follow-up. Double's shapeshifting abilities allow her to manifest several separate bodies that she can control, as well as enormous forms that far exceed her usual mass. However, she appears to be unable to mimic certain supernatural abilities. Double can imitate voices, and is able to speak normally while appearing as a nun or a stranger at a party.
