Maya is a 19-year-old girl, kind and enthusiastic. She is a fan of Steel Samurai and loves hamburgers. She likes to help in any way she can. She usually calls Phoenix Nick (a way of saying Phoenix).

History

Maya Fey was born into a prominent family of spirit mediums and lived in the Kurain village, home to most of the Fey clan. Her father died when she was young. When Maya was two years old, her mother left the village due to the shame caused by the DL-6 incident. Her older sister, Mia, took it upon herself to find out what had happened to her mother and had to leave the Kurain village; Maya was left in the care of her aunt Morgan and the rest of the town. Mia had left the village so she wouldn't have to fight Maya for the title of Kurain Master. Although Mia had left town, she stayed in contact with her younger sister in the years that followed, and even trusted her to hold onto important evidence for a case Mia was investigating. She told Maya that if she ever needed a lawyer, she told her to call Marvin Grossberg, Mia's former boss. On September 5, 2016, at 09:27 am, Maya received a call from her sister Mia, regarding the custody of some evidence. However, when he arrived at Mia's office, he found her body. She was accused of Mia's murder. Phoenix Wright, who had worked as Mia's deputy, defended Maya in court against prosecutor Miles Edgeworth. However, he was first told to find Grossberg to get him to defend Maya. Mia's former boss was being blackmailed by the real culprit of the murder, so she denied the case. She was almost found guilty, but Maya channeled Mia into her body, and she was able to help Wright prove that someone else had killed her. After the trial, she appointed herself as Wright's assistant, forming the Wright & Co. Firm. Thereafter, Maya uses her psychic powers to channel Mia's spirit, intending to help Wright when she needs it, although her powers were weak at first and she was able to summon her only for short periods. .

Kurain Channeling Technique

The Kurain Channeling Technique is a mediumistic technique for channeling the spirits of the dead, practiced by the Fey clan.
