Persona Attributes

Shion

A little baby with memories of his past life, he is still a traitor

appearance

In the original manga, Shion's face is never seen until the Hades saga, being a tall young man with long hair with the same face as Mū and Kiki, as well as the two tikas on his forehead symbolizing his Muvian race. In Next Dimension he has short hair and is blonde due to the coloring that Kurumada gave it in the manga, while in the Hades OVA he is presented with the same appearance as the manga but with light green hair.

personality

As for his personality, Shion has a rather calm and reserved character, and thinks things through before doing them. At the same time, he is determined and aware of the course the war is taking, as well as the sacrifices that must be made. On the other hand, in the original manga he appears arrogant and proud in front of Dohko. He considers the Bronze Saints as trash and is confident of controlling all events, but this is all an act on his part. After Athena's "death" he shows his true personality claiming that he has only been pretending his loyalty to Hades and that in reality what he was looking for was to revive Athena's armor with her blood, upon discovering the potential of the Bronze Saints he entrusts them with the goddess's armor, in Tenkai Hen Overture, he is shown to be proud of the Bronze Saints. This Shion's personality seems to be an exact copy of the one created by Masami Kurumada in the original manga, keeping calm even in extreme situations such as the end of the Holy War or the mental control of a Saint. Unfortunately, he only appears twice in the work, so his personality could not be better exploited.

current baby shape

It was still the same, only now it was devoid of speech and moving on its own.

Mu, Shion's disciple, current caretaker

For now he takes care of his former master for the punishment that Athena gave him.

Mu's appearance

Mu has fine and stylized features. However, they accentuate the nobility, tranquility and elegance of this high-ranking Saint. As a most prominent characteristic, typical of his race, he has no eyebrows at all and has two dots on his forehead that remind us of Shinto priests and women of the Heian era. The long, straight hair of the Saint of Aries is another point to touch on, as it stands out from the conventional design model that Masami Kurumada has used for his works, where those with rebellious and spiky hair always predominate. With Mu it is the opposite, his straight and tied hair denotes his profile as a craftsman and intellectual individual. His color varies in his two versions, since in the original manga he has ash blonde hair, and in his animated adaptation they turn to a soft lilac to create an almost complementary contrast in the sea of yellow tones used when he wears his Golden Cloth. As a "craftsman", as shown at the beginning of the story, we can see that Mu has bandages on each of his arms. Like all forgers and restorers of Cloths, we have seen that the Jamirenses require shedding blood to revive or heal damaged Cloths, which would lead us to conclude that underneath them he must have a large number of scars due to his ancient trade. He wears a kind of brown toga that falls over his shoulders and is tight at his waist, his clothes are yellow and his pants are dark green, his hair is usually gathered in the middle on occasions. As a final aspect to point out, it is their clothing that reminds us of the traditional clothing of Tibetan monks, but with Greek elements to create a mix of concepts.

Mu's personality

Mu is the calmest and most peaceful of the Gold Saints. Despite everything, he is one of the most powerful. He only resorts to violence in extreme situations. Words are usually his weapon on most occasions. Despite his young appearance, Mu shows a maturity and wisdom similar to the great sages. This has earned him some enemies, such as Cancer's Deathmask, but what is most important is his loyalty and sense of justice. From the first moment he understands Saga's betrayal and decides to disappear until the right moment arrives to give rise to a revolt. Mu has vast knowledge in the ancient art of restoring the Cloths of the Athenian Saints. He normally shows coldness and distance to those who manage to reach his Jamirense tower where he resides, because he must assess whether that traveling saint has just intentions in order to repair his Cloth. The character of Mu is not really different from the one he has in the original work, knowing that the Patriarch in the Sanctuary is false, he remains a hermit in Jamir where he is dedicated to repairing damaged Cloths. Even so, he knows very well how to distinguish people's intentions and that is why he was able to carry out a plan with Aiolia of Leo against the invisible soldiers of the Titans, even without speaking a single word. However, little is known about the character of Mu, since he only participated in one battle almost at the beginning of the work where he faced Iapetus of Dimension, being a worthy rival for the god, but not enough to win.
