Persona Attributes
Perhaps Joker was, as his parents said, a born circus cash cow. And he can only exchange forbearance and foolishness for the only remaining sense of belonging. So Joker, who has always been submissive, "naturally" became the weeping clown of the circus. He was accustomed to limping on the stage and using his funny face and uncoordinated limbs to make the audience laugh.
NAME Joker ALIAS(ES) Weeping Clown SERIAL NO. 8-0-3 CAREER Circus Clown GENDER Male NATIONALITY Unknown BIRTHDAY August 4th AGE 21+ LIKES Natalie, Flowers DISLIKES Jocks, Sergei FAVORITE DISH(ES) Ice Cream Maybe Joker can't tell whether the behavior after the clown makeup is a forced performance that goes against his usual character, or a real emotional release deep inside. Like the smiling face mask he cut out by himself that night, wearing it, it seems like another new life. But he still couldn't tell whether this mask belonged to Joker the crying clown or Sergi the smiling clown. Born with a sad face and a deformed right leg, perhaps Joker really was a natural born money tree as his parents suggested. As Joker was used to resigning to adversity, he "naturally" became the weeping clown of a circus. He got used to limping on the stage and made the audience laugh with his ridiculous face and awkward limbs. Perhaps Joker couldn't even figure out whether putting on the clown makeup and performing went against his personality, or it was, an emotional release from the bottom of his heart. Just like how he seemed to respawn when he put on the smiling mask which he made by hand. However, he still couldn't tell whether this mask belonged to the weeping clown, Joker, or the smiling clown, Sergi. Serial No. 8-0-3 Name: Joker [Test Indicaitors] 1. Pessimistic 2. Inferiority Complex 3. Fragile [Inclination] A loose cannon on the verge of collapse. [Test Results] 1. Overall Evaluation: Before being disfigured, Subject 8-0-3 was a weeping clown who brought laughter to the audience with his comedic expressions, but behind that mask was his inferiority complex and fragility. The tragedy in Moon River Park crushed Subject 8-0-3's mask of sadness. He put on a smiling mask and started resolving problems with violence.

Backstory Note that the Smiley Face (Hunter) and Weeping Clown (Survivor) are the same character, and so share the same background. Joker had once been the Weeping Clown, a comedian famous for acting as a sad clown at the Hullabaloo Circus. Although the act was popular, having to humiliate himself and his fellow performers to entertain the audience started to take a toll on Joker's mental state. One day, a young couple joined the circus, the beautiful Natalie and the handsome Sergei. While she became an animal tamer, he became known as the happy clown with the alias "Smiley Face." Joker developed feelings for Natalie, and at some point Joker discovered scars on Natalie's back. Believing this to be caused by Sergi, Joker confronted him about the abuse. In retaliation Sergi stole a bottle of acid from the Mike Morton's personal supply and used it to attack Joker, permanently corroding and scarring Joker's face, and he was unable to continue his performance as a clown in the circus. Soon after, Joker murdered Sergei along with other members in the Circus, ended up stealing Sergei's face and identity, becoming the "Smiley Face".
