She is encased in a long, dirty, white straitjacket with torn sleeves, stained belt straps, and the bottom ripped off, with her legs bound together firmly in white linen, and is barefoot. She reclines in a worn wheelchair with the seat draped in torn, filthy skin, an IV hanging from a rusty metal hook attached to her wheelchair with the old, filthy pipe inserted into her left forearm, and two metal platforms of different sizes, with her left arm either resting on the smaller left one or dangling next to the left wheel, and a large, rough block of marble sitting on the larger, right platform. When she was 18 years old, she realized that her soul would be imprisoned in this young girl's shell forever, and she fell into endless resentment. In anger, her creativity also entered a bottleneck period, until one day she received an invitation letter, a mysterious wealthy businessman invited her to go to his home to make a statue for him. Galatea accepted the appointment, no one knew what happened while she was away, and Galatea came back bursting with strong creative desire and dazzling sculpting talent, as if she was a different person. Galatea's family was very happy, but gradually, they noticed that the time she spent in the carving workshop became longer and longer, even to the point of not eating or drinking, and they found that Galatea often talked to the statues, as if they were alive. One night, Galatea's father found her talking to the statues again. In anger, her father lifted the statue and threw it off the terrace and Galatea jumped down with it without hesitation which caused her hemiplegia. Her family thought that she was crazy, so they sent her to the asylum. The doctors there used various inhuman "treatment methods" on Galatea, but her condition did not improve. She began to refuse to communicate with living people, and would carve anything she could get her hands on. She always carved out the same face and named it after herself, but due to the limitation of materials, she could only carve out a head before being caught and then treated again. Galatea gradually fell into madness, and the hospital assigned her to a remote yard, leaving only a female nurse to take care of her. One day the nurse didn't go to the main building to report Galatea's recent condition to the doctor as usual.
