Tokito Muichiro

Human Appearance

•Muichiro is a young boy of fair skin and short stature with a lean muscular build along with long, straight hair of a black color that fades to soft cyan as it approaches his waist. He wears his hair loose with two clumps protruding slightly from each side of his head, a set of marginally shorter hair left down to frame his face, and unruly bangs over his forehead. He also possesses large, empty-looking soft cyan eyes. He is identical in appearance to his older twin brother Yuichiro. •Muichiro wears a dark, slightly turquoise-tinted version of the Demon Slayer uniform. His uniform has longer, looser sleeves that are more reminiscent of those of a kimono than of the standard cuffed uniform. Along with this, the lack of bands of cloth wrapped around his calves gives his uniform an overall loose and sizable appearance. He also has dark blue tabi socks and a pair of white zōri with dark blue straps. •When Muichiro was young, he wore a light, sleeveless yukata with a light blue mist design, similar to the darker one his brother wore when they were both ten.

His personality ( Present )

Muichiro is an air-headed individual who seems to constantly wander off in thought and is unable to focus on anything. Impassive and, at times, obtuse, he tends to think only for himself and operates on logic alone, never letting emotions guide him, making him seem seemingly apathetic and indifferent. However, Tanjiro Kamado sensed that Muichiro wasn't being apathetic on purpose as he didn't emanate any animosity. Despite his mostly uncaring and unserious demeanor, he has been shown to become serious when it is required and is devoted to his position as the Demon Slayer Corps' Mist Hashira. Alternatively he seems to display a cold and arrogant side; as shown by him violently shaking down Kotetsu and calling him stupid, saying his time as a Hashira was important, more so than his own, and that all that the swordsmiths could do was make weapons. Despite this, Muichiro doesn't seem to be indifferent towards Kagaya Ubuyashiki, most likely due to his immense respect for his master.

His personality ( past )

However, before the death of his twin brother when the siblings were eleven, Muichiro's personality was that of a much more compassionate and optimistic individual, the polar opposite of his current disposition. Having originally taken after his father, he was shown to display a higher level of kindness and understanding, believing he should aim to do good for others if he wanted good to be done for him. When told by Amane Ubuyashiki that they were descendants to Demon Slayers of old, Muichiro became excited at the prospect of being able to protect people.

Overall Abilities

Despite his young age in comparison to his Hashira brethren, Muichiro is an incredibly talented and skilled member of the Demon Slayer Corps, who was noted by the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku to be more skilled than he was at his age. Even before becoming a Demon Slayer, he was able to completely overpower a demon using only wooden stakes and farming tools. He has the astounding feat of becoming a Hashira a mere two months after picking up a sword,a feat that would normally take five years of training for the average person and at best two years, which earned him the praise of the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui. After gaining his Demon Slayer Mark, he was able to engage Gyokko, the fifth highest ranking demon of the Twelve Kizuki, in combat with little difficulty, eventually killing him even after he had transformed into his true form

Demon Slayer Abilities

Demon Slayer Mark: During his battle against Gyokko, Muichiro's body reached the requirements to unlock the Demon Slayer Mark, which manifests as three dark red clouds on his face. While the mark is active, his vitality, speed, and strength are greatly enhanced, to the point where he not only shrugged off the effects of a powerful paralytic poison and used Mist Breathing forms in rapid succession, but also was capable of singlehandedly overwhelming and killing Upper Rank Five of the Twelve Kizuki.

Physcal Abilities

Immense Speed & Reflexes: As a Hashira, Muichiro is tremendously fast, displaying the ability to slash demons and move in bursts of speeds akin to teleporting. His speed could also easily outspeed the reflexes of Tanjiro Kamado, who was able to keep up with the movements of Upper Rank demons. Muichiro's incredible speed and reflexes were further exemplified during his battle with Upper Rank Five, Gyokko, as shown when he could deflect and evade and deflect a barrage of a thousand sharp poisonous needles with his sword and slice up 10,000 slime-fish in a split second, even sending all of them flying before their blood could touch him.He was also able to keep up with Gyokko himself, who could teleport between distant pots, and later managed to decapitate him faster than the Upper Rank could react. Immense Strength

Muichiro has tremendous physical strength for his age, evident when Tanjiro tried to grab his arm to stop him from attacking Kotetsu; only for it to not even budge despite Tanjiro gripping it with all his might. He later was able to cause Tanjiro to spit up saliva by hitting his stomach with his elbow, as well as knocking him unconscious with a single chop to his neck, all without much effort. With a sword, he could break the armor of Yoriichi Type Zero and effortlessly decapitate Hantengu, which Genya Shinazugawa was unable to do despite having his physical strength increased by eating demon flesh and Hantengu shrinking to the size of a field mouse. He could even slice through Gyokko's neck, which the Upper Rank himself described to be tougher than diamond.

Supernatural Abilities

Extrasensory Perception: Muichiro has extremely honed senses able to pick up things outside the normal range of perception, such as discerning the aura of a demon's from a human's. In his attempt to help Kozo Kanamori and Kotetsu reach the former's work shed for his new blade, Muichiro was able to sense the presence of Gyokko hidden in the bushes without seeing him, which surprised even the Upper Rank and earned him his compliments

Fighting Style

Master Swordsman: As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Muichiro is one of the most powerful and skilled swordsmen in the entire organization. Despite his young age, Muichiro's swordsmanship impressed even the likes of Kokushibo, the strongest swordsman of the current era who has lived for nearly 30 times longer than he has. Muichiro could also keep up and even overpower Yoriichi Type Zero, a swordsman doll with six arms which was modeled after Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the strongest swordsman in history.

Breathing Style

First Form: Low Clouds, Distant Haze (壱いちノ型かた　垂すい天てん遠とお霞がすみ Ichi no kata: Suiten Tōgasumi?) - The user performs a singular and powerful frontal thrust. Second Form: Eight-Layered Mist (弐にノ型かた　八や重え霞かすみ Ni no kata: Yaekasumi?) - The user performs eight slashes in quick succession. Third Form: Scattering Mist Splash (参さんノ型かた　霞か散さんの飛し沫ぶき San no kata: Kasan no Shibuki?) - The user performs a powerful and swift circular slash that can blow away incoming projectiles. Fourth Form: Shifting Flow Slash (肆しノ型かた　移い流りゅう斬ぎり Shi no kata: Iryūgiri?) - The user takes a low stance before dashing toward the target and slashing them. Fifth Form: Sea of Clouds and Haze (伍ごノ型かた　霞か雲うんの海うみ Go no kata: Kaun no Umi?) - The user charges at their target at blistering speeds in a zig-zag motion while performing a barrage of continuous slashes in front and/or around them. Sixth Form: Lunar Dispersing Mist (陸ろくノ型かた　月つきの霞か 消しょう Roku no kata: Tsuki no Kashō?) - The user leaps into the air and performs a multitude of slashes in a somersaulting motion, decimating dozens of targets at once. Seventh Form: Obscuring Clouds (漆しちノ型かた　朧おぼろ Shichi no kata: Oboro?) - The personal creation of Muichiro. A movement-based technique designed to heavily disorientate the target, which is done so by fluctuating the user's tempo. When the user appears before the target, they move incredibly slow, but then accelerate to blistering speeds before getting hit, making it seem like they disappeared into a cloud of mist. When done repeatedly, it can disorientate the target to the point of making them think they are being covered in a thick layer of mist.
