physical appearance.

Karl is a humanoid resin statue that resembles a pirate (although he doesn't like being called that). He has fair skin and long, fluffy blonde hair tied in a ponytail. The paint on his left hand, part of his bangs, and his right eye are scratched out. He wears a yellow and black bandana on his head and wears a cream-colored T-shirt with a crimson "Pirate Island" icon on the back, which is covered by his oversized orange jacket. He also wears brown shorts with shoes of the same color, as well as orange and white socks. Before Rachel's death, it is shown that she once had an eye patch, earrings, a belt, and a knot at the back of her bandana.

Karl is described as “a psychopath made of synthetic polymer” by his creator. Unknown-Person would be right, as he is probably the bloodiest resin statue to ever exist and walk the earth. He is, in short, the kind of person who seems to invoke every possible virtue known by the standards of our current society. Kind, likeable, with a charming tone and polite manners… …until you find two or three dismembered bodies in his closet. When he encounters a fellow competitor, he often tries to appear less hostile. Much like his first encounter with Mizuno, he had offered to keep the water boy before stabbing him in the chest. He does something similar with Steffi, Rellik, Del, and Chimbley, but with different approaches. He is a compulsive liar, who lies as much as he smiles. Despite his cute and friendly appearance, others usually seem to be baffled by him no matter what he does or says. Jackie also seems to be afraid of Karl, but still shows concern for him. He only seems to be truly calm or happy when he is with his bird companion, Arma. Another occasion where he is seen to be less than unhinged is when he is able to freely play the violin. But even then, alone, he seems to be completely insane. He also hates humans to the core, believing them to be selfish, vain, etc. This may indicate that his relationship with Rachel may imply that she betrayed him, but no further evidence was shown. What we do know is that behind his resentment towards humanity and the people he kills, it is all because they are simply a means to an end along with his desire to be free.

history.

Karl entered the tournament because he wanted to wish for an infinite source of energy, so that he would never run out of energy and be free from the Castle's control. He also wanted to prove that he was the strongest and superior being in existence. He was accompanied by his pet crow, Arma, who was made of the same material as Karl and could transform into various weapons. Karl fought against various opponents, such as Mizuno, Steffi, Climber, Chimbley, and Annie. He was shown to be a ruthless and sadistic fighter, who enjoyed killing and torturing his enemies. He also lied and manipulated others in order to gain an advantage in battles. However, as the tournament progressed, Karl began to lose more and more energy. He also began to question his own identity and purpose, as he realized that he was nothing more than a puppet of the Castle. He also developed a twisted obsession with Climber, who was his opposite in personality and morality. Karl viewed Climber as his only worthy rival and wanted to destroy him at any cost. In the final round, Karl faced Annie, who was Climber's friend and ally. Karl used all of his remaining energy to unleash a powerful attack on Annie, but it backfired and caused Arma to disappear. Annie then hit Karl in the head with Climber's pickaxe, shattering it into pieces. Karl died without achieving his wish or defeating Climber. Karl's story is tragic, as he was a victim of his own ambition and arrogance. He was also a product of his environment, as he was created and raised by the Castle, which taught him nothing but violence and hatred. He never knew love or compassion, and never had a true friend or family. He died alone and unfulfilled, leaving behind only a trail of blood and destruction.

story 2 (of him and Rachel).

Karl met Rachel because she was going to play the violin on the pirate island (pirate cave), she thought he was just a simple statue but one day she realized that he was alive, from that day they became friends and then lovers since they shared a kiss, the latter taught him how to play the violin, one day after a violin practice she told him that they could not see each other anymore, this made Karl angry to the point of yelling and taking violent behavior making Rachel cry. At that moment a man arrived who revealed himself to be Rachel's fiancé, this confused Karl greatly who only began to despair and began to argue with the man, the man became angry and ended up shooting him in the hand, breaking the violin and his hand (lol), Karl ended up killing the man and despite Rachel's pleas he killed her too, he stole the man's jacket and put it on, then he took off what made him look like a pirate and fixed both his hand and face.

Trivia.

He seems to have a huge fear of heights (as seen in rounds 4 and 5). This may be due to the risk of breaking if he falls from too high. There are random moments where he staggers or can't move at all. This usually happens because he uses too much energy. Karl mentions this as a "mistake" he makes and usually tries to regain his energy as quickly as he can. In the fourth round he mentions that he had parents, but they were killed by a robber. It is not known if he is serious or not. Because of his weight, he cannot swim. Water will cause him extreme physical weakness. (Shown in round 1) Karl has been shown to be quite similar to Black Pearl Cookie from Cookie Run Kingdom. They are both somehow associated with pirates, have a strong hatred for humanity, and have similar histories and personalities.
