Gus (Sweet Tooth)

Gus, a hybrid deer, and some parts of the story.

Gus is 10 years old, he is the first Hybrid. Hybrids or the disease? The hybrids are immune to the virus. Gus's mother is called Pajarita. Gus's father is called Richard. People believe that hybrids spread the disease, something that is not true. Some hybrids cannot speak, almost all of them. Gus was raised by his father, as he never knew his mother. Richard was the one who taught Gus to speak. The disease, along with the hybrids, is only 9 years old. If it becomes known that Gus is the first hybrid, they won't stop following him until they get what they want from him (possibly killing him).

Last men

Known as the "Last Men," they are hybrid hunters who capture hybrids and experiment on them, obtaining a cure from them. But to obtain the cure, hybrids must be killed. The leader is Abbot.

Animal army

Known as the Animal Army, they care for the hybrids, saving them from the last humans, even going so far as to kill the last humans to protect the hybrids. Their leader is Osa.

Where is the little bird?

Pajarita is in a very cold place researching part of the cure.
