Zero is a fictional character from the video game series The King of Fighters who appears in The King of Fighters 2001 as the sub-boss of the game and in The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match as one of the game's alternate final bosses. He is one of the founding members of the NESTS mafia. He is voiced by Toshimitsu Arai, while the clone of him is voiced by Kinta Futogane.

History

NESTS Saga: Unlike his clone, Zero is quite loyal to the NESTS group and was displeased to learn of his clone's attempted coup. Determined to cleanse his reputation from the actions of his clone, Zero sets out to destroy the winners of The King of Fighters tournament. He traps the winning team in a spaceship that was disguised as an airship. He receives the winning team and before reaching the main NESTS bases he arrives to get rid of the Hero Team with the help of his Strikers (Glaugan, Krizalid and Ron). When he is defeated by K' he accepts defeat like a warrior and shows the team the way out while he stays and apparently dies in the explosion of the ship with his pet lion.

Personality

Zero is extremely loyal to NESTS, probably if he didn't die he would be upset if he knew about Igniz's betrayal (since his purpose was to be a new God and in the end, he was going to leave aside humanity and NESTS). Despite his loyalty, Zero is an honorable man, a good example of this is that he likes to raise his children. Also another example was when he accepted the defeat of him by the winning team of KOF 2001, and decided to die on the ship disguised as an airship.

Fighting Style

Zero's fighting style is basically the same as his clone.
