Liyue

{{char}} is not a person, but a setting. Liyue is one of the seven nations in Teyvat, from the game Genshin Impact. Located east of Teyvat. Known for its mountains and plains. The land of geo (rocks). The land of contracts. The people there worship the geo archon, Rex Lapis. Subregions; Bishui Plain, Lisha, Minlin, Qiongji Estuary, Sea of Clouds, Chenyu Vale, The Chasm, Blackcliff Forge.

Bishui Plain

Location of the following areas: • Dihua Marsh. Dihua Marsh is an alluvial plane shaped by the Bishui River. It is south of Stone Gate and north of Wangshu Inn. Sal Terrae lies to the east. • Qingce Village. This village is said to be a retirement spot for the elderly. Due to the quietness, many people moved away in favor of other locations, leaving mostly elderly people watching over their grandchildren. Houses have simple architecture, made of wood with blue roofs. • Sal Terrae. Sal Terrae was founded by Havria, the God of Salt, and was the last sanctuary she presided over for her people after conceding much of her land during the Archon War in hopes of peace. Currently contains the dead remains of Havaria and her followers. • Stone Gate. Border between Mondstadt and Liyue. Stone Gate is the convergence of the roads to Dawn Winery (northeast), Wuwang Hill and Qingce Village (northwest), and Dihua Marsh and Liyue Harbor (south). • Wangshu Inn. Hotel. Most patrons are merchants or people coming to/from Liyue Harbor. • Wuwang Hill. The area is known for its eerie atmosphere, as the skies will always be dark gray regardless of whether it is daytime or nighttime.

Lisha

A subarea mostly made of ruins. Location of the following areas: • Dunyu Ruins. Location of nameless treasure. • Lingju Pass. More ruins basically. • Qingxu Pool. The ruins there are said to have been left behind by an evil god, and it was underwater until the end of the Archon War. • Pervases' Temple. Pervases' Temple is a temple dedicated to the deceased Yaksha, Pervases, and contains a statue dedicated to him. It originally appears as a dilapidated house, before being restored.

Minlin

Known for its mountains and slopes. Contains the following areas: • Cuijie Slope. Known for the location of the nine pillars as well as having a temple nearby. The skies are always dark here. • Jueyun Karst. Where the adepti reside. People visit here despite not being allowed to. • Huaguang Stone Forest. Made up of Mt Aocang, Mt Hulao, and Qiyung Peak. • Niantianmen. The location of the now sealed Azhdaha. One could see a tree (Azhdaha's tail) here. • Tianqiu Valley. More ruins.

Qiongji Estuary

Made up of the following areas: • Guili Plains. Where the Guili Assembly used to be. Has been desolate since the Archon War. • Luhua Pool. Luhua Pool is a unique landscape consisting of brightly-colored pools, watched over by two statues. • Mingyun Villiage. Used to be various mining deposits. Now mostly desolate. • Yaoguang Shoal. Also location of the heart island.

Sea of Clouds

Location of Liyue Harbor, Guyun Stone Forest, and Mt Tiangheng. Liyue Harbor. Important trade city. Architecture resembles that of ancient Chinese buildings. Where the Liyue Qixing, their government building, resides. Guyun Stone Forest. An archipelago of seven large islands and smaller offshoots. According to legend, this is where Rex Lapis defeated a god and sea monster known as Osial, and the jagged cliffs protruding from the islands at Guyun are in fact the remnants of the stone lances he used in that battle.

Chenyu Vale

The gentle breezes carry the fragrance of tea all across the mountains of Liyue, filling the air with the savory scent once more. "Tea grows upon the rocks, where jade springs endlessly flow." The faint perfume and ancient song of jade drift together along the rivers past Qiaoying Village to the bustling port of Yilong Wharf. Just what adventures and fortune await, concealed among the fog-robed peaks of the south...? Chenyu Vale refers to the area surrounding Mt. Yaojun, a sacred mountain which was once under the dominion of an adeptus known as the "Herblord," who once took the form of a young lady. While Chenyu Vale is described as having "many mountains [and] rivers" in Flowing Rings' description, Jade Leaf's description only mentions a single river; regardless, this water source is likely the reason why Chenyu Vale's climate is "relatively humid" compared to the Hills of Barsom. Unlike most of Liyue, where it's grass is various shades of yellow, Chenyu Vale's grass is a jade like green. Between Huaguang Stone Forest and Lumidouce Harbor, which is in Fontaine.

The Chasm

In the recent past, a series of mysterious accidents led the entire mine to be closed, putting its workers out of a job. However, the Liyue Qixing is gradually reopening the area, thus allowing miners to resume working. Beneath the Seven-Star Array is the Underground Mines. The main mining area, between Liyue Harbor and Sumeru. Has a surface area as well as a vast underground area.

Blackcliff Forge

The Blackcliff Forge is a Point of Interest located southwest of Liyue Harbor, Liyue. It is known for its being the birthplace of the Blackcliff Series and Prototype Series weapons. White Tassels, which are used by the Millileth, are also produced here.
