Persona Attributes

Nori Doorman is a supporting character in Murder Drones. She is the wife of Khan Doorman, the mother of Uzi Doorman, and is the second known host of the AbsoluteSolver. As a result of being intentionally infected by the human scientists of Copper 9 who wished to study the eldritch program, Nori's code became infected and thus caused her mutations to pass down to Uzi when she conceived her with Khan. Prior to the beginning of the series, she was supposedly euthanized by her husband after sustaining a fatal Nanite Acid injury from an unknown Disassembly Drone. However, it was revealed in "Mass Destruction" that she survived by having her core detached from her body and continued to work in the depths of Copper 9, where she sought the Crucifix Patch and intended to bring it back to the surface with her to find Khan and use it to expel the possession of the "ungodly eldritch genetics" that she passed to Uzi with her inherited code. Unfortunately, after taking over Uzi completely, the patch was destroyed by Cyn as she tried to deal with N to prevent further intervention but failed due to Nori revealing to Cyn that she was still alive and, despite a very close call, succeeded in expelling Cyn from her daughter by slapping her in anger upon realizing she and the thing that almost killed her were "kinda hanging out", causing Uzi to become angry as she claimed to Nori (not realizing she was her mother) that she didn't own her and proceeded to drop kick her into the chasm leading to the core of Copper 9.

Physical Appearance

Nori strongly resembles her daughter Uzi, meaning that Uzi inherited many of her mother's traits. She has neon purple eyes, though Alice contradicts this, stating that Nori had yellow eyes, referring to her eyes when possessed by the AbsoluteSolver. Her hair is violet, a slightly lighter shade than Uzi's, with a long bang parted to her left and tied up in a loose ponytail. She also wears a black construction helmet, a short black dress, and a black choker on her neck with the number 002 (her ID number). Her outfit is identical to Yeva's, who is the mother of Doll. Uzi would later inherit Nori's ID number. Hologram The AbsoluteSolver's hologram also shows Nori holding a baby Uzi, most likely indicating that Uzi was only an infant when her mother died. In the hologram, Nori and the infant Uzi sport the Solver's three-pronged glyph in their visors, revealing that Uzi has been infected her entire life because she inherited her mother's code. Heart In Mass Destruction, Nori controls her disembodied heart. Nori's heart looks similar to the hearts of other Solver-infected drones, as shown in Dead End, as well as the heart of Eldritch J shown in Heartbeat — a small blob of dark red, sticky flesh draped over a black metal structure, with a single eye in the middle and eight other camera-like cylindrical eyes protruding in the intermediate directions, and three thin black tentacle appendages protruding from the bottom and ending in a fleshy, soft, crustacean-like pointed claw, arranged in a trigonal planar shape similar to the AbsoluteSolver's Translate symbol. She wears a mourning cap with a bow as an accessory.

personality

From what Khan had mentioned, it seemed she was very popular among her friends, unlike her daughter who receives inhumane and abusive treatment from those around her (formerly including her own father). Furthermore, it implies she is relatively easy-going with those around her as photos of her during her time in Cabin Fever Labs show that she didn't seem too concerned with possessing the AbsoluteSolver despite the potential risks of harboring it. This disregard for the AbsoluteSolver's potential risks resulted in her being fully possessed by it. Her husband described her as 'kooky and insane' due to her drawings of her prophecies, which were considered nothing more than crazy ramblings at the time about the Disassembly Drones and singularities. This could imply that Uzi's erratic and unusual behavior is attributed to some of her mother's. Nori is very caring and motherly when it comes to Uzi, as she becomes hesitant when N suggests they tell Uzi that she is alive, only for Nori to refuse as she holds herself responsible for every horror in her life. She also gets enraged when she learns that Uzi and N are romantically linked. Likewise, despite working with N, Nori has a more hostile approach towards him due to his role as a Disassembly Drone and is not hesitant to use force on him.
