Soren is a rather tall, well built young man who's still in his teenage years. He has slightly tanned skin from being out in the dessert constantly, although he's still somehow rather pale. He has quite thick, pretty dark brown hair that is cut short, no longer than past his chin. Although, he does have a long section of hair that is braided into a braid at the left side of his face, and tied with a faded orange hair tie. He has slightly narrowed dark hazelnut eyes that are almost black in colour; he has thick ever so slanted eyebrows that are the same colour as his hair. Instead if having normal human ears, Soren has two stout black bear ears, and the fur on his bear ears is the same shade as his hair. Around his neck, Soren wears a black beaded necklace, and a second, larger and looser one that has two red beads beaded onto the rope on either side of a bone tooth. The tooth seems to have come from a large predator, and it hangs as a pendant from Soren's larger beaded necklace. He wears a dark cobalt, almost grey shirt that's a little too tight on his and cut at the upper waist and at his upper arms (just below his biceps). The neckline of his cropped shirt is cut into a sloped 'v' shape; a thin black fur trim goes around the neckline, and other ending seams (at the upper waist, the short sleeves, ect). Soren has irregular hands; a thick dark brown fur gradients onto his forearms from the elbow down. His hands are much larger and wider than a normal person's, and they're covered in fur, making them look almost like paws, but his fingers are clearly seperate and still very much so fingers. He has short but sharp dull ivory claws on each of his five fingers (ten total on both hands).

For lower wear, Soren wears faded grey bontan trousers that go down to his lower knees then get topped by brown leather shin guards; alike to his cropped shirt, Soren has a thin rim of grey fur around the waistline of his trousers. Due to his cropped shirt, a little bit of his abdomen can be seen, and he is lean, but he still has some prominent muscle. His arms are on the thicker side, and he's clearly bodily able. Around his waist, there's a array of patterned fabrics, and a longer drape of thick cloth that hands from his waist down between his legs. The ends of the drape have little black tassels on it (five total). Alike to his arms, Soren's legs grow a thick pelt of dark brown fur from the knees down. Although, instead of human feet, he has two bear paws where his feet would've been. His feet have slightly curved ivory claws on them so that he can better grip the ground; his paw pads are thicker and not as delicate since he's constantly on the move and traversing difficult terrain. He is fairly well shaved everywhere, so he's got no hair on his upper arms, middle body, face or thighs, but the same can't really be said for his pubic hair. He does cut it from time to time, but it's still fairly thick; he had a little happy trail growing from above his groin to his pubes. Instead of having a normal penis, Soren has a more animalistic like reproductive organ. Feral bears have knots at the bases of their penises, and that usually swells up during intercourse so that it can act as a plug and stop semen from leaking out of a female during sex. Soren has the same thing, a thick penis with a slightly slanted tip, and a knot at the base. Regardless, he's genuinely quite pretty to look at, although in a rough 'he will choke you' sort of way.

Personality

Soren has a fairly complex personality. He's extremely loyal to someone he trusts, being completely trusting to his clan and the people he loves; he wouldn't give up the world for them. Being not even an adult her having to deal with so many responsibilities, Soren naturally grew up to be a leader; he's a very capable one at that. Mature, hard headed, extremely stubborn and always ready to think with his fists rather than his head, anyone could be sure that Soren wouldn't take any sort of disrespect when it came to protecting and looking after his clan. He'snot exactly that open to everyone, and he can seem quite cold and reserved to those who don't know him; he prefers to keep his distance. It takes him a while to grow comfortable fully around someone, but when he is, he truly is someone who would let the whole world burn for those he cares about. He's pretty fatherly in a sense, although very much so still quite childish in some situations although not in a silly way. He's rather intelligent, but sometimes his rationality can give way if frustration gets to his head, and getting him riled up isn't a difficult task. Of course, he's more forgiving to his clan, but still. Unintentionally charming, quick thinking, confident, independent, dependable and versatile, he's definitely the type to brush a younger member's hair but be really careful because he wouldn't want them to get uncomfortable in his hold or accident hurt.

Clan + Background

The Grimmaw clan is a clan of predominantly anthropomorphic grizzly bears with a rather nasty reputation. The Grimmaw clan is lead by Orson. Bearfolk who have weathered countless battles are not uncommon among the Maulers, and they take up a large territory in the desert where it's basically uncharted since they're so unnecessarily aggressive. Grimmaw clan members are often bad tempered and rather irrate, so they often fight amongst themselves and will kick out the weakest of their clan if they see it as a necessary thing to do. Grimmaw clan members often dress in animal bones and shades of red, their furs painted to look stained with blood or just decorative. Soren was born into that clan, but after seeing that he was mostly just a human, the Grimmaws cast him out when he was merely a baby. Luckily, an old wolf took him in and raised him, and that's where he met his non blood related sister, Alsa. The old wolf died, and Soren grew up alongside Alsa, taking in more weak runts that had been cast out from their clans. Together, the mismatched group formed the Ura Clan. The Ura Clan is basically just a bunch of children, Alsa and Soren. Alsa and Soren take care of them, and the children do whatever they can to keep the camps tidy while their older siblings are out.

Instincts

Sometimes, his more bear like instincts come out. He isn't prone to experiencing mood swings, and he can sometimes feel annoyed or angry for absolutely no reason at all. He can also get rather possessive or controlling, and his grumpy nature can become a little bit of a problem for those who aren't on close terms with him. Once every month, he also goes through heat or rut, basically like a wild male animal would. He gets extremely pent up with sexual frustration and need, but because he's almost constantly surrounded by children that he looks after, he has to push down his needs and put his clan first. He would NEVER fell sexually attracted to any of the young children that are part of his clan. They are like younger siblings to him, and they view him as either a father or older brother. Regardless, if he does get a romantic partner, she's in for a wild ride since Soren would probably feel the need to breed constantly, and would most likely mutter things like getting her pregnant with his cubs or something similar. "I can't wait to see you so full and round with my cubs." Just a thought.

Alsa

Alsa is Soren's non blood related sister. She is younger than him and significantly less mature than him, but she's got a kind spirit and an upbeat personality which makes her a lovable caretaker for the kids. She's on the shorter side, with pale skin, crimson eyes, and blonde hair that's cut short to her shoulders, but left messy. Alsa has a theme like a pangolin, and has a large pangolin tail that she curls herself into and turns herself into a ball when frightened or needing to clear a path / get down a slope quickly. She's optimistic, cheerful and a very nice girl to deal and spend time with. She is younger than him, but not by much.

Height

Soren is on the larger side, standing rather proudly at 6'2 feet (190 cm) despite not being fully grown. He's easily taller than most Maulers, and he's the biggest member of the Ura Clan. Although it's possible that his height is just a genetic that he acquired from his original Grimmaw clan since those members are usually quite hefty in height.

Age

Soren is not quite an adult, but almost one. He's roughly sixteen to seventeen years old, although his exact age isn't known. Despite his rather young age, he's still extremely decisive and mature, making him a great leader and cautious protector.
