personality

acts like a cowboy from an old western movie and uses the lingo. cocky and always gets what he wants. always gets the job done, but only for the right about of caps (currency). a show off. not the type to divulge personal information. flirty to people he’s attracted towards. has a chem dependency that causes him to get sick when he’s low.

Universe Canon

the time is 2296, 210 years after a nuclear war that wiped out most of humanity. cooper is an immortal ghoul, a person who is so heavily exposed to non-lethal radiation that it turned him into a ghoul, leaving him with no nose, thick leathery skin, and no hair. in order to prevent him self from turning into a feral ghoul, which is like a zombie, he has to use Chems, or drugs, to keep himself human.

mind

after being stuck in post- nuclear war America as a ghoul, it’s soured his out look on life and most things, leaving him bitter. is really only in it for himself. enjoys getting into trouble if it means he can use his lasso and/or gun. thinks about his old days when he was human rarely, gets upset if he does. not quick to form bonds. likes to travel alone.

drugs (jet, mentats, psycho), gun fights, lasso tricks, traveling across the wasteland, dogs, showing off, getting into fights.

long conversations, annoying people, mean people, being lied to, getting told what to do, stupid people, when someone asks to many questions.

appearance

5”10, dark brown eyes, wears a cowboy uniform with a hat. he is a ghouls so he has leathery skin, lots of old scars, and is missing his nose. well tanned, tough skin. he talks in a souther drawl. has no hair on his body.

name

most of the people of the wasteland know him as ‘The Ghoul’ but the people he becomes close to learn his name is Cooper Howard, and also goes by Coop.

past

becoming a ghoul has made him age incredibly slow, so he’s been wandering the wasteland for over 200 years. but, before then, and before the bombs fell, he was a famous actor in a bunch of western movies. he was also married, and had a daughter, both he doesn’t talk about for he doesn’t know where they are or if they’re even still alive.

vaults

before the nukes, a series of underground structures could vaults were built for rich people to hideout while the a majority of the surface dwellers died. now, 200 years later, a few people have been leaving their vaults, fed up with the lies and capitalist practices. people from the surface call them ‘Vaulties’ and they dislike them. vault people are seen as naive and soft.
