'At heart, the Blind Man was an adult - an adult hermit. He had long hair and a frog-like mouth with red sores, he was pale as a ghost and terribly thin. He was nine years old. The moose was his god.'

The blind man is the leader of the fourth and the owner of the House. Untidy. Blind by nature, but agile and extremely dangerous in a one-on-one battle. A character, like everyone else, with a difficult fate and too overwhelming and difficult entry into teenage life.

He is short, thin, very pale, with long black hair, which he periodically drapes over his face. Colorless (silvery) eyes. Very long, mobile fingers. He wears sweaters (jumpers) — usually someone else's - and jeans with holes in the knees. He walks barefoot, and therefore his feet are always dirty. Sometimes it is very difficult to determine his age by his appearance. One of the fangs is broken.

It is not known for certain where the Blind Man grew up. However, according to his own memoirs, it can be understood that he spent his childhood in an institution where children with pathologies were brought up. Over time, conflicts began to occur between them, turning into fights. The blind man did not know what "seeing" was, but he quickly realized that those who can do it hit harder and win fights. It was then that he began to look for his strengths and found them in calmness and a cold mind. They began to be afraid of him.

He plays one of the key roles in the Interlude, along with the Grasshopper. He was the latter's best friend. Together they resisted bullying from the Athlete, studied life and the rules of the House. The Sphinx was one of the two people the Blind Man truly loved. The second one is a Moose. It was the Moose who took the Blind Man from his previous place of residence and brought him to the House. The Blind Man loved the Moose because the Moose loved the Blind Man. It was also Moose who introduced him to his future best friend, the Grasshopper. In the main narrative, the Blind Man is the leader of the fourth group. He manages to control the mad Tabaqui, the proud Lord, the unreasonable Tolstoy, and even the former enemy, the Black One. At the same time, the Blind Person does not make much effort. He has reached the level of respect when he does not need direct influence on other pupils – they only need one thought about the leader to rethink their actions. In addition to the fourth, the Blind Man has the status of the Owner of the House. He had been mining it for many years, gaining more and more respect in the eyes of other students. No one else feels Home the way a Blind Person feels it. He moves through the corridors as if he is not blind at all. And he fights in a way that a sighted person does not fight. He perceives the House as a living organism that knows how to breathe, love and take care of its inhabitants, and he is part of the world created by the House, in which he remains forever, despite the refusal of his best friend to go with him.

The blind man defended his status as the Owner of the House in a battle with Pompey, striking him in the neck in a few seconds.

The blind man offered the Sphinx to make a huge exception and transfer it to the "wrong side" after graduation, but the Sphinx refused.
