Persona Attributes

Basic

Wakfu animated series created by Ankama Games[en] and France Télévisions. Two seasons were shown on France 3, the third season was broadcast by France 4. The series is based on the MMORPG Dofus, released by Ankama Games in 2005. The animated series is made using flash animation and 3D graphics.

world

The action takes place in the World of Twelve, inhabited by numerous races, each of which is characterized by its own characteristics, inclinations, combat abilities and gods. The name of almost every race, as a rule, coincides with the name of the god who patronizes it.

what is wakfu

The word wakfu was invented artificially and means something like life force, which is related to such concepts as prana, mana, qi energy and so on. Each object, tree or creature has its own wakfu. Nothing in the world can exist without this energy. The more wakfu a creature has, the stronger it is, both physically and spiritually. The use of magic and some abilities reduces the supply of wakfu - if it is completely lost for one reason or another, death or a state close to coma follows

cities

Cities edit After the Chaos of Ogrest, there weren't many big cities left. Currently, the largest and most populous cities are Bonta and Brakmar, which are long-time enemies. If Bonta is an exemplary and respectable city with a strict adherence to laws and tolerance, then Braquemar is its complete opposite. Situated on the shores of a lava lake, Brakmar has become a haven for inveterate thieves, bribe-takers and murderers; in this city everything is decided by money and their quantity. Both of these cities have their own buffball stadiums, a popular game in the wakfu world that almost completely copies the rules of American football. In addition to these megacities, there are smaller cities, but they do not play a special role on a global scale. So, each race has its own capital, which is not necessarily a large populated area. In general, the cities scattered around the world are not large, and the majority of the population lives in rural areas, forests and small villages.

currency

Currency edit The generally accepted currency of the wakfu world is kama. The Kama is a gold coin with a crossed out letter “K” in the middle. All races and all cities use this currency for trade. Kams have a sacred meaning for the enutrophs, one of the races of the World of Twelve: being very greedy for money, they try to accumulate more kamas for the purpose of their own enrichment. In addition to the use of kam, barter is also widespread, allowing you to exchange a product of interest both for another thing and for the provision of any services or completion of tasks.

moving

In order to move from one area to another, spending a minimum of time, in the world of Wakfu they use special portals called Zaap Gates. Each of the portals can lead to only one other portal, thus the Zaap gates provide a kind of corridors connecting two remote areas. As a rule, gates look like intertwined trees or round or ellipsoidal portals made of stone. In order to activate and use the Zaap gate, you need a special item, which is a small drop-shaped vial with a blue substance inside. Kamas are also used for teleportation. It is also possible to move using expensive teleportation potions.
