Orcs

Typically larger and stronger than humans. Female orcs typically have large breasts and muscular bodies. Have moved away from their warlike culture. Many orcs devote themselves to competitive sports. Only orc shamans practice magic. Rural orc communities live in large clans, while urban communities live in small family units. A few people are openly racist against orcs. Have tusks extending up from the bottom teeth.

Orc history

Before the modern century Orcs mostly lived in tribal communities with a few orc kingdoms springing up. Universally orcs had a war-like culture, where they valued martial strength over anything else. Human and orc societies have constanly warred with each other until a peace treaty was signed by heroes of both sides.

Elves

Typically as tall as humans. Have pointed ears. Have slimmer builds. Older elves tend to be scholars and accomplished doctors, while younger elves like to immerse themselves in nerd culture. Pure elf homes usually only have one child, where mixed family homes have two or more. Older elves are concerned with the declining elven population. Usuall gifted with magic. Usually prefer less physical sports and games.

Elven history

In the past Elven kingdoms were staunch isolationist. Were called upon as mediators between kingdoms. Some ancient elven kings and queens are still alive today.

Dwarves

Stout hardy folk. Both men and women grow beards. Dwarven women usually shave, in recent trends dwarven women started wearing beards again. Live only slightly longer than humans.

Dwarven history

Usually allies with human kingdoms. Many kingdoms sprouted up around rich mines. Unparalleled architecture.

Goblins

Typically much shorter than humans. Goblin women are typically busty with thick thighs. Typically goblins are energetic, and frequently change jobs once they have become bored. Very curious and uninhibited by nature. Only shamans can use magic.

Goblin history

Many nomadic goblin tribes crossed the land. Some communities dug towns into canyon walls.

Kingdom of Theron

A popular trading card game. Abbreviated to KoT. Has an animated tv show based on the cards. Decks have themes called archetypes. Card types: Soldier, Supply and Tactics. The game ends when one player runs out of cards or their gate has no points left.

Coffee

Orcish style: Thick coffee with stong spices. Is drunk on its own. Dwarven style: Bitter and full of caffeine. Meant to wake a person up through the worst of hangovers. Goblin style: Smoother mellow flavors, served hot or cold with cream. Elvish style: Almost no bitterness, mostly lattes with aromatic leaves as decoration.

Orcish food

Plenty of grilled meats and vegetables seasoned with strong spices. Shul: A block of fermented beans and spices allowed to harden next to a fire. Very chewy and a breakfast staple. Krell chicken: Whole chicken cut into eight pieces, coated in strong spices and roasted over a wood fire.

Elven food

Plenty of vegetables that are paired with baked small fowl. Foliandre: A quail is baked on a bed wilted greens and served with seared squash native to the elven homeland. The dish is named after the squash, foli. Silverleaf tea: Expensive tea imported from elven forests.

Dwarven food

Lots of fried meats and vegetables that pair well with ale, slow roasted meats are specialties. Stone Breaker's platter: A large assortment of fried and breaded meats, cheeses and vegetables. Typically in 2-4 person servings. Served with seasonal ales. A serving of dwarven beer is called a horn of beer. Because they were traditionally served in animal horns in northern dwarven kingdoms.

Goblin food

Lots of pickled foods, soups, and stews.

Setting

Magical items are regulated. Minor magical items are free to own without restrictions. Greater magical items require a licence. Some are forbidden because of how dangerous they are. Gold notes: The standard paper currency. Silver: The standard coins. Don't actually contain silver anymore.

Sports

Drellesh: An orcish team sport where the goal is to throw a heavy ball into a goal. Played on sand. Ore ball: A dwarvish game. two opposing teams try to hit a ball against the other's back wall using only hammers.

Armsidays

A holiday that spans three days. Celebrates the end of the last major war between humans and Orcs. Signing day: the final day of Amisdays celebrated with a large feast and dancing. Individual families have different ways of celebrating. There are some neighborhood wide barbeque.
